I just did a ecu reset on the altezza by removing battery terminals and whacked it back on after 20mins and well everything is fine except it wont idle when coming to a stop but it will idle rough at a stationery position. A ticking noise is coming from the TPS as well.

Any ideas? is it suppose to learn over a period of time or have i ****** something up lol which i dont think i have

Why did you want to 'reset' the ecu? Were you having problems with the idle/throttle before.

People don't realize, that by 'resetting' the ecu, the ONLY thing you are doing is making the computer loose it's memory for the long and short term fuel trims. Doesn't really do anything else at all.

Did a MAF clean and was advised to also do the ecu rest along with it. Most of the threads on the forum suggest a reset after a maf clean so i thought why not.

I didnt have any problems before with idle or throttle.

sorry man, im not slamming you for the ecu reset.

try going for a drive 10-15mins. see how it goes. failing that you'll have to check for codes.

you having left anything unplugged around the maf? accidently removed a vac line?

Just went for lil drive around the block but at every stop it will stall.

Havent left anything unplugged around the maf or vac line.

I never had a problem before but its just the idling issue, while stationery start it up it idles rough then i revd it for a minute and it came back down and straight died. But while moving around corners its fine only when your coming to a complete stop.

Other than that it drives fine tbh

Did you clean the throttle body at the same time? If the sensor in there is dirty it will effect the idle in the way you have described.
