Now I got my BBK gleeming in the corner of my house I really need to put them on!

Would I be safe to say that 18x8 with +30 should clear the Supra Calipers in the front?

I've seen the other posts and if needed can go all the way to 18x9 with +25 for the fronts but the wheels I'm looking at now are:
Lenso DC6
18x8 +35
18x9.5 +35

Versus:
18x8.5 +30
18x9.5 +35

I know the Versus would clear the calipers, but would the Lenso wheels clear them? Thinking of going for a more JDM look with bronze wheels:

Also I should be fairly safe with the 18x9.5 +35 for the rears with my rolled guards? Wheel gurus please help!

Nick

More importantly it's the fronts that I'm worried about.

Would I be safe with the 18x8 +35 to clear the BBK?

A mate had to sell his 19x8.5 (+18) Volk GT-AV Rims as they wouldn't clear the big brakes on his supra, would have needed a 30mm spacer to fit them on he reckons.

I've got a mate with 18x8 Konig Netz with +30 and they are on his Altezza now?

19x8.5 +18 would be heaps of clearance shouldn't it?

And the JZA80 Supras that come with those factory have 17x8s (unsure of offset)

Reggie, Nick, Andrew etc please help :P

Print it out and glue it onto some tag board then cut it out, the blueish gray part is the part you fit into the wheel to check for clearance. Otherwise email it to the place you want to order wheels from and have them check it on the wheels.

Spoke thickness is going to be as biggest factor as off set from what I've read on there
I saw a dirty white Altezza yesterday running Axis like Stephens & Supra calipers

Hey Nick,

From the research i have done there is no way to tell is the wheels with clear baised just on offset and width. As said above spoke design is the limiting factor.

There was a thread on the Supra America forums on wheel designs that fit, ill try and track it down for you

Yes, the thing that looks like a stud should be treated as one and then you put the bottom edge towards the center of the wheel.

Plenty of inspiration in this thread for aggressive offsets http://my.is/forums/f89/slammed-aggressive...863/index2.html

Wow those cars look tough as! Good inspiration indeed! Thanks for the links Carl!

Test fitted the 18x8 +25 for the fronts today, and indeed they cleared the calipers!

Just contemplating if I should go to a 215/40 for the fronts, pictured above are 225/40

Better pics to come when I get the wheels on and eventually the BBK!

Thanks for the help guys

Offset fail.

This looks rediculous in this photo. Stretched tyres may look cool to some, but in function they suck teh wang.

This wheel offset is clearly illegal in australia.
