Throttle Body Butterfly And Oil In Tb?

Hi guys, im new to the club, just got an Altezza with the 3SGE Beams engine...I was having a nose around the engine and took the air box out to put a HKS filter in...decided to have a look at the throttle body and noticed some oil in the duct and throttle body, I believe this is coming from the pipe that connects from the cam cover to the inlet pipe!

Am I right in thinking that I could place an oil catch can here to catch the oil rather than let it feed into the inlet plenum?

Also I noticed the throttle body butterfly (the plate inside the TB attached to the throttle sensor) requires almost a half the throttle action before it opens up and when the trottle is at its widest the actual butterly is sitting at 45degrees...should this not be 90degrees to allow maximum airflow? Can this be adjusted?

Also if I let the throttle shut close it rattles like its loose or something, again is this normal?

Sorry for the lengthy first time quesiton about possibly a simple problem, just haven't got my bearings yet around the engine bay...and that's coming from a 3SGE celica owner!!! :D

Nope the oils fine, you can put a catch can in there to prevent further build up if you like.

The throttle plate movement is normal, the Altezza has Fly By Wire which uses a electric motor to drive the throttle plate with the mechanical take over as a fail safe if the Throttle Control Motor dies. The rattle when closing is normal too and would not happen when the Throttle Control Motor is operating.

For funsies take off the inlet piping and turn the Ignition to ON, you'll see the Throttle move normally then :)
