Hey

Sorry if this has been asked before but can't seem to find it on the first page. What would be the best spark plug to use to replace the ones on a 3SGE engine?

I am looking at replacing my now and would like a set which was best for performance. Also, i was recommended to replace the spark leads too well i'm at it. Whats your opinion on in and if lead replacement is also recommended, which leads should i go for.

Cheers

Stick to factory platinums or go to the IK20 (or NGK BKR6EIX-11) for best results

I would go for the NGK plugs Nick suggests, there's a thread somewhere that talks about how short the lifespan of the ik20 plugs is. The NGK iridiums are supposed to last longer (on paper anyway).

And the altezza doesn't have spark leads so you'll find it hard to replace them :D

I can get you a set of 4 NGK BKR6EIX11 for $72.50 through my work if you like. Can pick up from Grey Lynn, AK or I can send via NZC for a couple of bucks extra anywhere in the country. Ref: http://z4.invisionfree.com/lexusaltezzaclu...0#entry11291259
