I am getting my turbo kit put in tomorrow, but I was a bit slack in booking my car in at the autoelectrition to wire up my gready emanage so it looks like I will be running my stock ecu for around a week.

Does anyone know if this will cause any damage or problems?

I'm ideally hoping for the awnser of it will run crap but won't do any harm, anyone care to comment?

Thanks

Find another way to get to work for a week, not worth the risk if it'll even run well enough to drive.

But up to you at the end of the day.

If I run it with the waste gate forced open is that the same as running the car N/A? so then that would be fine?

You'll probably find it won't run well at all. When I turbo'ed mine all it would do with the stock ECU is some sort of idle. Even with the wastegate open there will more than likely still be a bit of boost in the system. If the stock ECU see's even a bit of positive pressure it gets confused, also if you have bigger injectors the ecu has issues running them as well. Don't exactly know why, but it does.
