More car trouble!! two weeks back and i'm already knee deep. Yesterday night I was coming home from work when I first started to feel the car surging. Thinking there may be a problem I decided to take it around the block to see if it may happen again and it did. I dropped it in to the mechanic in town who said the car was massively over-fueling but could not determine the problem as he doesn't know a lot about Link computers. I called up the guys and NZ EFI, who did the wiring and tune up, and they pointed me to the vac line for the ecu which i followed through the firewall and back to the manifold plugged in were it should be. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Cheers, Gareth |

Im surging too but its only been the case since I ran out of fuel I also have a big flat spot in the mid range and its baffled me.Im putting it down to the injectors playing up and im waiting on my turbo kit, bigger injectors and a good tune to see if this rectifies the issue. |

Surging isn't my problem anymore the plugs get fowled up that fast that it isn't drivable anymore unless I drive it an hour away to the tuner in 3rd gear keeping the revs up for it to clear out. |
