He has a power-fc IIRC. To tune these properly you need it on a dyno to verify what changing cam angle does at each RPM & throttle opening. Stock intake vs ITB's x trumpets and the header/manifold and exhaust pipes will all change how it flows and the effects of the camshaft angles. Andrew |

iv gone back to the factory ecu as my turbo motor is getting rebuilt, so iv but my Orginal engine back in its place, im just wondering when i installed the timing belt on the orginal engine i never set the vvti pulleys properly? are these ment to be set or do u just line up all the marks and put the timing belt on, without advancing or retarding the inlet/exhaust pulleys. Do they automatically adjust them selves once the belt is on and running? |

Just line up the marks vertically as you put the belt on. They automatically return to their start position with the springs inside and advance when the motor is running. |

yeah they're spring loaded (i think... self return anyway) they only adjust themselves via computer signals, then actuated hydrolically. just treat them like a normal cam pully. line up all the dots and your sweet! |
