hay guys iv got my innovate mtx-l wideband today will install tomorrow just wondering do i need to cut down the bung supplied so the sensor tip pokes into exhaust or is it sposed to sit flush?? |

I don't think it matters, the blast of an exhaust pulse going past will make sure there are no gases trapped in a pocket I'd say. I drilled the KE70 extractors, had an engineer weld on big 18mm nuts and fitted a pair of Commodore sensors for the twin carbs I run. I never worried about how far inwards they sat, although I think they just stick into the pipe. |
