So coming back to this thread again... I really want to get the wider pre-cat in, it has a noticable performance increase yet adds more than 10db to my overall system. Question is will a sports cat keep the flow and help me out with the noise or am I just dreaming? |

You either have performance or luxury.... Up to you. |

Yeah current 82DB without wide pre-cat on the legal limit with the wider pre-cat 94DB. If adding the sports cat would keep it under 90DB I'd make the change... |

Add a resonator in there instead of a cat, will keep the noise down. |
