hey all^^ i just went to clean the maf sensor on my altezza and found it had a broken seal..... doesnt look hard to fix at all but was wondering if anyone knew how easy they are to get? can i get them at repco or do i have to go to toyota themselves also if anyone knew the price that would be awesome too cheers

Check the Yellow pages for an O-ring supplier (Pacific Seals or Seal Imports if you're in Wellington). You'll need to find out the dimensions (inside diameter and cross section) and they'll be able to find one, (from memory its about ID38mm x 2mm C/s, though don't take my word, i should write these things down) , should only cost 50c or so. you could also take the maf sensor in and get them to measure it up if you don't know how. ...or else Give xnickx a call and he'll be able to help with a genuine part, shouldn't cost too much either. |

Dont have one on mine. Use a little bit of grease to seal around it or a more skillful effort roll some plumber tape in to an o ring It will be a mission trying to find one the same size. |

Actually wasnt to hard finding one eh Cause its basically a round rubber seal. The dude at repco just gave it to me:) And now car runs good just need to clean The throttle body next |
