![]() Nick Castellanos Las Vegas, Nevada August 6th 2011 Promo Number 1 Nick sat on one of the benches just outside one of the Coffeeshops. Of course he’d walked in and walked right back out in the same amount of time. Nick was thinking more of like real coffee, but that wasn’t really what they were selling. Nick was stressed about the match that would be coming up this week because now, with what Johnny B out, and Aiken in, he knows he's in a fight for his life. As everyone had said, he had a lot more to prove. It still seemed to shock Nick that people have downed him that bad and not have even met him. Nick really didn’t think he was that bad of a person. Maybe that’s what was bugging him the most at the moment, the fact someone didn’t like him without even giving him a chance to get to know them. Whatever the reason was for his mood right now, it was more than enough to win him a match. Nick had never really been the type to get too angry. In fact he took pride in being happy and being out there in the open about a lot of things. His emotion was almost always happy and for everyone else cause it was hard to get this mad, it was something new to even himself. Nick was now determined to win this match just so he could tell his critics that he either did have talent or not even his brother Luke had enough talent to back up what he said. Nick looked around and was surprised to see all the people on the streets. A lot of them he’d soon be seeing at the show, either cheering him or booing him or whatever it was they felt like doing. He wondered if any of them would be all for him or Aiken winning. Definitely the big match of the night. It's almost a night with two joints being smoked by him. Which that would be all for him for the night. In fact, that sound's good about right now. Nick shook his head and looked up to where a cameraman had been setting up to get his own words on this match, considering he didn’t seem to do so well in Nick’s eyes. Nick stood to his feet and started to walk down the road, back towards the Royale Majestic Casino arena. People would pass him and look at him, most wondering who he was. The other half of them almost wanted to stop him just to get him to sign something. Though, thankfully for Nick, they didn’t stop him. Instead he was able to accomplish his promo in peace. ------------------------------- ======================== ¥ Hombre sin valor ¥ ======================== ------------------------------- It is mexican word and it is a phrase that describes my opponent. Translated to English, it says “worthless man”. You see, that is exactly what Aiken is. Aiken may have some people fooled, but not me. No, I see this man for what he truly is and that is worthless. He is the kind of person I can’t stand. He has no real talent, no skills, nothing to offer the world. He just goes through life like it is him own personal party and everyone is supposed to cater to him every whim. How you ask? Because he exploits himself by using the way he looks in order to get everything handed to him in life on a silver platter. He hasn’t worked for a damn thing in his life. This week the Majestic brass want to make a big statement on their new show called SALVATION. I think this show will be an innovative concept. It will cause me to take a day off of work every week as opposed to working the weekend, but since I am the “King Of Wrestling” and by de facto representative of this great nation of wrestlers, I have nothing but a supreme obligation to attend. Earlier tonight, I was sent an e-mail. That e-mail stated.. I was facing Johnny Bruno in the first round tournament for the “Premeire Championship”. Within the hour, that changed. I am now facing Aiken Frost. The contract wasn't even dried. You replaced my opponent and now I must face you. What? You told the Majestic Owner, “You'll sign, if you got into the tournement?” Well, Aiken, don't worry, this will be the first and last time we meet in the tournament because I will make it my pleasure to eliminate you! It is the Majestic management who has fell under his “spell” and will do anything he wants. Go ahead and tell me I don't know what I am talking about. What’s not to know. It is right there for the world to see. Aiken, you need to settle down. take that make-up off, get real and then come back and talk to me. Because this clown looking style you pose is just odd and wrong. Nick scratches his head. Then his eyes light up. He remember's something.. I remember the first tournament that was held to crown the first champion because I was a part of it. I didn't win the tournament, but since that time period I have been a proud defender and holder of this title on four occassions. If there is to be one Premier title holder of this business, it might as well end with me. However, I am not going to be going into this Sunday night and simply laying down for Aiken and allowing him to become a future Premire champion if he somehow advances to the next round. I would love nothing better than to stand tall in the ring Sunday evening and be able to hoist my arm above my head as the ring announcer proclaims me the winner. I have only received two shots at the big time championship in my career and although I came up short both times, I learned greatly from the experiences. As everyone in the wrestling knows, I examine my matches in great detail. I pin down what I did wrong and I train and I push myself to get better. In those matches I was antsy and my reaction times were hesitant. I focused on what I had to lose more than what I had to gain. However, those early years are long gone and they are replaced by a ring saavy veteran that won't be stopped easily. I see this match as a pay-per-view equivalent. New show, new exposure, and new levels of prestige. I'm looking for a legacy defining moment on Sunday Night in Las Vegas and AIKEN that is going to be at your expense. Aiken, I know you think I am some young punk, a kid that want's to make a mark but you feel you have it all, you have everything in the bag. WRONG! I’ve worked hard to get to where I’m at today, even if I’ve only been in this company for just so long. I beat men like Travis Green and went the distance with greats like Shawn Walsh, both who are great at what they do and tough to beat. But I kept my compossure and I did what I do best. Basically, if you say I have no talent is completely.. It's untrue and won’t hold up to much of anything. As for me being a ‘‘The King Of Wrestling’’ and getting special treatment, maybe it’s nothing more than me actually doing that good of a job here. It was a few week's ago when I was sitting home, enjoying my newspaper and coffee. I was contacted by a man that knew a man and was offered a spot in Majestic Wrestling. I was flattered but shocked. I was out of the game for sometime. I turned my attention to becoming a CEO of a promotion. But, that simply didn't pan out. Actually, it was in Las Vegas. During my short stint, I've seen men like you come through. Walk around with your head up high, eye's bright.. Heart beating but for what? Hearsay? I don't care! I don't care how many title's you've won, I don't care who've you beat in the past. Non of those people were ME! One thing I will say.. If you somehow win this match, I will say.. I will go down fighting for my life. It's what I do. I can’t help that people like me and if it will help you understand, I’ll even walk around trying to be normal but it don't work. People flaunt too me. Not because I am good or anything. It's because, when I am around.. Good thing's happen. Here in Majestic Wrestling. History will repeat it's self. Look at the roster now. See how much talent is around? Their isn't a place in the world that can claim that. Majestic is the place to be and this first round tournament for the “Premeire Championship” is where I will make my MARK! Though with that said I don’t even believe I have to do that. I don’t have to prove myself to you. The only people I have to prove anything to is the fans and all of the management at Majestic Wrestling. The concentration I need will return to me soon Aiken. The entities still lurk in the darkness of these streets, I just need to find them... To release them... Goodnight Aiken, I will end you, and your reign as a a future champion, one way or another. ------------------------------- ======================== ¥ Show's Over ¥ ======================== ------------------------------- ::. eNd .:: Signed, Nick Castellanos |
