I remember when I used to be called the “Career Killa” when facing Noah Hanson meant there was a distinct possibility that your career might actually end. I have seen may people try to get in my way, I have seen careers be ended in the flash of light bulbs and the roar of a crowd and my elbow landing firmly in the middle of their chests but see that was a person that is light years from the man that stands currently in the ring here in Majestic. I may still be a man that loves to have the spotlight planted on me but the man that I was no longer exists at least not to that extreme. I know that my run in Majestic so far has not exactly been the best, I mean I have come to the ring and delivered just like I have always done but my opponents usually leave a little more to be desired I mean Datura showed up and gave me a great match but the others not so much and then there was the whole little deal between myself and Nightmare. The man was obsessed with me, trying to ride my coattails on his way to some sort of meteoric rise to fame thanks to me making him famous but the fact of the matter is he was not going anywhere simply based on the facts that he didn't have the grip to hold on to me at the speed I go on a match to match basis. So beating Nightmare at the PPV on his terms and sending him backing was less then fulfilling. I wanted him to survive, I wanted him to last longer then one match but he couldn't so that leaves me with not a lot of options, leaves me wondering what my next move is but for the moment that is going to be put on hold as I have this tournament and m first round opponent one Lucas Knight, I believe that we have both been a part of at least one other federation and that is PWX, now while we might have shared the same fed I cannot recall if we actually faced each other but it is nice to run into someone that shares some of the same history that I do. It will be a good match I am sure weather I win or lose, facing someone that is talented is always good, always something that can build a man in his quest to be better then his last match, to be better in life in general. So Lucas Knight I ask you this...what can you teach me, how can you make me a better wrestler? How can you make me a better person? I know that I won't make you disappear from Majestic Lucas, that much I am certain of so I can finally just do what I do best and that is entertain the fans. I am sure you will bring your very best, I am sure we will put on an amazing spectacle and leave the fans wanting more and that is all I ask of you Lucas, I want you to come to the ring and look at me and know that we are going to do our very best and that the better man will move on to the next round. Good luck Lucas... {after the PPV} Noah is shown walking backstage, his hands and arms covered in the blood of Nightmare, he has to actually pry the gold plated brass knuckles off and hands them to Kristina, she wraps them in a towel and puts one arms around the waist of her husband and gives him a kiss on the cheek. “You look exhausted baby, how bout you get a shower and we get a bite to eat and then call it a night. My honey needs to get some rest then it will be back to the grind.” She said as she ran her hand across the chest of her husband, his sweaty chest glistening as he watched her hand trace along his muscular features. Noah smiled briefly as the two made it to his locker room and then went in. Noah walked over to the fridge and grabbed two bottles of water and handed one to his wife and then opened his and took a long drink. He sighed loudly and then plopped down on the small couch and Kristina tended to her man, wiping away the blood with a damp rag and then climbed onto his lap. “baby you ok?” Noah looked down and then at Kristina and kissed her and then moved her off his lap. “Sometimes things feel real good, sometimes things feel perfect, sometimes everything just seems to be a haze life there is nothing else out there that matters. Sometimes I just wish all of this would just stop. I know there is someone out there that wants me dead, in know I have dodged death on a few occasions but you know what after all this time I have just kind of grown numb to it all. I have seen it all and been through just about everything and to sit there and look down the barrel of a gun and hear the trigger and then still be standing there and not be able to explain how I am still alive.” Noah shakes his head. “Some have called me the man that knows no fear, some have called me a modern day Duncan MaCloud and to that comparison I have to laugh because I have been lucky maybe to an extreme but lucky none the less, not immortal and we all know that is some sort of sick joke.” Kristina frowned as she could see the pain in her husbands eyes, she could see what it was doing to him and wanted to do whatever she could to make all the pain go away but in the end all she could do was just be there, listen to him and support him as much as she could. In the end that is all any husband wants, he wants his wife to be there for him through the good and the bad and this is all she is going to be able to do. She brushed his hair from his face and then grabbed him by the hand and pulled him to his feet and pushed him towards the shower. He looked at his wife, nears tears and then walked in, dropping his gear as he walked in farther and farther. He turned on the water, the steam enveloping him as he stood there and just stared at it blankly. “Is this really all I have to live for anymore, just working show to show like some mindless drone, might as well be working some nine to five job and be standing in front of some machine making car parts or burgers.” The water hit his body and he watched as the blood that had stained his body, Nightmare's blood felt like it was a hardwood stain, he felt like he had scrubbed for hours and still it didn’t seem to come off, he was getting more and more frustrated until he sighed and looked down and watched as the final little drop of blood flowed down the drain. “Am I going crazy?” He wondered to himself. “Is this what he has become reduced to a man standing in the shower questioning his own mortality?” “You ok in there?” Kristina yelled in at her husband. “Fine...” Noah said his voice trailing off, he sighed to himself trying to figure all of this out, trying to figure out his next move. Does he go all out in this tournament r does he just look for an out and just relax till the next show. {Tuesday} {A local eatery} {Las Vegas, NV} Noah is seen sitting at a table, eating a salad and drinking a bottle of water, Kristina is no where to seen. A waitress approaches Noah... “You need anything hun?” she asked politely. Noah shook his head. “No thank you, I am fine ...” “You look familiar have I seen you somewhere before?' she asked curiously. Noah looked down slightly and then looked up. “I dunno where might we have met?” She looked at Noah and then leaned down slightly to try and get a better view. “You do commercials or something?” “Been a while since I have done a commercial but yes I have done a few.” Noah replied flashing a brief smile and then the waitress shakes her head. “No...” she said trying to figure it out. “No you don't do commercials at least that is not where I recognize you from. “You sure?” Noah asked playfully as he finished his salad. She snapped her fingers like a lightbulb just went off above her head. “You are a movie and TV star, you did that movie a few years ago “The Cabin in the Woods” and I know you have and I think some Tv too.” Noah smiled politely and lowered his head and then the door bell rang and Noah looked up slightly and saw two large men entering the cafe both eyed Noah with what can only be described as 'mission eyes'. Noah looked down again and then looked at the waitress and nodded. “Yes I have a few movies but that is old hat.” “I have heard you're doing a sequel to the movie is that true?' the waitress asked. “It is in the works...” Noah said and then got up from the table and noticed the two men still watching him intently. “Excuse me I have to use the little boys room.” Noah walked to the bathroom, walked in and started washing his hands and noticed the two men coming in he instinctively used his right leg to kick the door hard hitting the trailing man square in the nose and sending him stumbling out into the hall. The first man pulled out a silenced revolver and tried to aim it at Noah but he sidestepped the gun and then grabbed the man non gun hand and pulled it around the man neck, kicked the back of his knee and then delivered several palm strikes to the face but then was attacked by the other man who is blood covered on his face. He strikes Noah several times in the chest and grabs Noah and tries to choke him Noah uses both of his arms and uses them to club down on the mans arms breaking the hold and then trusted his hand into the throat of the man causing him to gasp for air. Noah grabbed the towel dispenser off the wall and smashed the man in the face and then a second time. Noah grabs his side in pain and then is hit from behind by the first man, the man tries to wrap a cord around Noah's neck but Noah uses the heel of his left foot and drives it hard into the mans shin several times and then hits him with the back of his head and then spins around and chokes out the man just as the second man gets to his feet and pulls his gun out, Noah turns the other mans body towards the first and the man absorbs two shots and then Noah shoves the body at the first man and grabs the mans hand with the gun and quickly snaps it with a quick motion and then disarms him and dismantles the gun and slips out the back of the restaurant. He quickly gets into his car and speeds off... “What the freakin hell?” Noah exclaimed in disbelief. “How did I do that?” “Frightening isn't it Noah.” a man said from the back of his car. Noah jumped at the voice and looked in the rear view mirror and then turned down a side street and slammed on the brakes. “Who the hell are you?” Noah yelled. The man put his hands up to show that he was unarmed. “”Calm down kid...” “Why?” Noah demanded. “Wondering how you defeated those assassins?” the man questioned Noah. “Would you believe that you are able to do a lot more then that if you put your mind to it.” “What do you mean?” Noah asked. “We have went over this before Noah, we have this very same discussion about a year ago.” the man explained. “You are a man that is highly coveted asset Mr. Hanson two sides vying to have you as their own.” “And you're representing one of them?” Noah asked. The man smiled and then shook his head. “Call me someone that is interested in helping someone find the truth...” Noah looked even more confused after that comment. “Trust no one Noah....trust no one...” the man said as he slipped out of the car and into the darkness of the alley. “Great I am in episode of the 'X-files'...all I need now is the creepy theme music...” Noah said to himself. {Meanwhile back at the cafe.] The lone living assassin stumbles into the street and his cell buzzes, he pulls it out and looks at the caller ID and it shows 'Shane' and his head drops slightly and then he types “failed” as a message and hit 'send'. {at another location} Shane is shown sitting in his van and gets the message and sighs deeply and closes his phone at the sight of his news... “Highly disappointing...” {TBC} |

The main event of Salvation this week is also one of the first round match ups in the Gods of Wrestling tournament. Lucas Knight versus Noah Hanson, a match that would highlight just about any card on any show, the match should be nothing short of epic. Lucas is one of the greatest talents to have ever graced a ring and Noah Hanson well I don't like to toot my own horn to much but I have made it this far in this business and that should say something about me in whatever since you want to spin it. But this tournament 'Gods of Wrestling' or whatever its called, there are no “Gods” in this business, there are no talent that just stand hands above everyone else. Anyone can be beaten at any time by anyone and that is just the nature of the business and that is just something that everyone needs to get a grip on. I know that I am talented, and in the ring and in Majestic I have to carry myself a certain way. I have to show an aura of confidence and bravado or I might as well just climb into the ring each and every week and just lie down for whomever I am in the ring with. So you see I am just as much of a god as anyone else in this business. There are some that are a class act above some of us and I am surely not one of those people. I don't wanna be one of those guys, guys that get hunted because of their reputation. I am just as happy being who I am in my career, maybe back in the day when I was a member of Wrestling Midwest, when I was willing to do whatever it took to get what I wanted. But that was a lifetime ago, that was a different person, someone that doesn't even exist anymore. I mean I used to go out there and maim people, end careers, try to do as much bodily harm all in the name of being the top dog, the main man and having a shiny new gold belt to add to my trophy case and although my trophy case is still in my home it doesn’t have the same appeal as it did years ago, the titles all still mean something to me, the accolades all have special meaning but now it is more of the evolution of Noah Hanson the person as it does my bloodlust for titles. I mean I still remember my first tournament match, in the active days of PrimeTime Central I wrestled in one of their early tournaments against the legendary Seymour Almasy and man did he teach me a huge lesson, he taught me more about showmanship and skill, the about carnage and athletic ability. I was in awe of his presence because I was still very much green but in the same sense I had hoped I would be able to really handle someone, anyone better then the way I handled the “Final Fantasy”. HE showed me just how to be a great talent and not just be talented. He showed me how to elevate my game, he showed me how to rise to another level and that is why when you enter something like this you have to bring more then just your best, you have to move a bit higher you have to move the button up to eleven and higher, you have have to be willing to do whatever it takes to show the world that you deserve to even be in something like this. I guess what I am saying is that I am almost afraid to be involved in this, I am shaking at the fact that my old self might actually show himself, someone that I have really tried hard to not become, someone that in have really worked hard to change. I don't want to go back to being that person Lucas, I don't want to do that anymore, I don't want to do to you what I did to Jackson Dre and end his career. Don't show up if you can Lucas, go watch a movie, go for a hike, something, anything Lucas just don't come to the tournament. Don't do it Lucas I am warning you to stay away, its for your own good Lucas. If you show up Lucas I won't be responsible for what happens Lucas, maybe I will beat you fair and square in the middle of the ring, maybe I send you to the hospital and maybe I send you to the back wearing a pink polka dot bathing suit...believe none of those sound very appealing to me. But maybe you are the same kind of fighter that I am, maybe you crave this kind of fight, nothing personal, nothing really on the line. I mean if when one of us lose what really have we lost? Nothing, we go back to our respective feds and we go about our normal business and that is just what one of us will have to live with and accept. If I happen to be the one that comes out on the losing end I can live with it, I am here to just get the name of Noah Hanson out there a little bit more. If I lose I am comfortable with it, I have been in enough of these things to not lose any sleep if I am sent home on the first show. Just means I can start focusing on my nest opponent in Majestic but the real question is for you Lucas can you just turn it all off at the end of the day or is all of this going to consume you? The fact is I would bet you are the type of competitor that is not going to be able to walk away from all of this. You are probably one of those type of fighters that needs the attention, that strives for the spotlight like I used to you need to have the spotlight directed at you all times. And to be honest I can relate, I used to lust for the spotlight, crave for it to be shown on me at all times but like I said that is all in the past Lucas and you need to see that all of that is never going to get you anywhere and in the end it will be the reason why I am going to send you packing... It's just fate... And fate has a way of making things all better in the end and that is exactly what is going on here....fate...destiny...MY destiny. {A few hours after the earlier attack} Noah is seen driving through an alley he seems a bit shaken by everything that has transpired and is visibly shaking as he comes to a stop and gets out and looks at his hands in disbelief. He seem to not understand how his hands have done that, he single handed took down two armed men and made it look fairly easy. “What is happening to me? Who were those two men that tried to kill me?” Noah argued with himself. “Assassin...Noah...” a voice said from the darkness. “The agency has been trying to get rid of you for a long time, they thought they hand finally done the deal right when they brought down your airliner over Arkansas but to their dismay they have found out that you are in fact alive and have sent their “assets” in motion to try and bring you down.” “What in the hell are you talking about? And who the hell are you and how did you find me?” Noah demanded. “All in due time Mr. Hanson, but you have bigger fish to fry, you need to keep your head on a swivel Noah. Trust no one...” the voice added. “What am I supposed to do?” Noah asked. “We will have someone watching you?” the voice replied. “Someone you're very familiar with.” A figure emerged from the shadows, her figure catching Noah's eyes and then his eyes grew large with shock. It was Alexis... {Flashback} {The day of the airline crash} Noah and Alexis are seen walking through the airport terminal, hand in hand as they walk towards Noah's flight. “So what are we doing after this?”Alexis asked. “After what?” Noah asked as he put his gear down and looked at his girlfriend. “Your last match for UCWA? What then?' she asked. Noah shrugged. “I think it is time to get back into TV and movies, I got a call from Jensen Ackles about returning to 'Supernatural', what do you think?” “I just want you to finally have some closure baby?! I want you to be happy and that is all that matters.” Alexis said smiling. “Well this is where it all starts...” {End flashback} A flood of memories come to Noah all at once, he looks at Alexis and mumbles to himself and then grabs Alexis and gives her a long kiss and then pulls back suddenly. “What?” Alexis asked. “Things are more complicated now then they ever were.” Noah managed to say. Suddenly a car started to turn down the alley, Noah tried to find the person in the shadows but with no luck and then Alexis pulled away and slowly vanished into the darkness. “I”ll be seeing you baby...” Noah eyed the darkness angrily as the scene fades... |

Sorry it's taken me this long to get anything done, but it's here now. Great stuff from you Noah, don't think we ever faced each other in PWX, so should be a fun bout. Enjoy. God of Wrestling #01 |
