A Tale of Two(Three) Wilde Flames

Friday, March 2nd, 2012 around 2:45 P.M. in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

"No way; no fucking way," Matt said to himself as he went on to the porch with Alice.

"What happened," stated Alice with concern. Matt continued to shake his head.

"There's some women in there claiming to be Jason and I's sister," Matt said with vigor.

"Wait what did you just say?"

"You heard me. She had this birth certificate and then a picture of her and my dad but there's no way she can be our sister. There's only been two of us."

"Well what does the birth certificate say?"

"It has my mom and dad's signature on there but I still don't believe it. If she was our long lost sister, then why would see show up now?"

"Maybe she didn't know you guys existed like how you didn't know she didn't exist."

"No that can't be Alice. This is not like those movies where the girl or guy meets up with their long last brothers or sisters. It just doesn't happen in the real world." Matt puts his hands to his face as Alice looks at him.

"Why would my mother not tell Jason and I that we had a sister? She would never leave out something like that. And there wasn't no mention of her every and this just can't be true. She wants something from us."

"Like what?"

"I don't know Alice. Jason and I don't have that much. We've never been the richest people. We don't have like an estate full of money so I'm not sure what she wants from us but I know she's after something."

"Look Matt, I understand how this can be a shocker to you but I don't think she's lying. I mean you said it yourself, you guys aren't rich or have fancy possessions. Why would she try to go after something from you guys if you don't have that much as it is? I know this came out of nowhere, but you have to think about this." Matt's expression was still one of anger however he somewhat began to calm down and sat on the steps next to Alice. Matt tried to let everything that he just witness soak into his head but he simply couldn't. Or more like he didn't want to believe everything despite the facts that Alice brought up.

"I can't," Matt said. "I won't. I won't until there's proof. Until then, i refuse to call her my sister because Jason and I don't have a sister. One way of the other Alice, I'm going to get to the bottom of this. I'm going to find out just what she's after here."

"And how are you going to do that?" Matt ran his hands through his hands, thinking about exactly what he was going to do. Finally though, he reached a conclusion and nodded his head.

"Tomorrow I'll go to my grandmother's house and maybe she can help me prove that Jasmine is lying. And I want you to come with me." Alice looks at Matt with a confused look.

"You do," she asked again.

"Yeah I mean I don't want to drive to her house all alone so I want you to tag a long."

"You sure Matt because this sounds like a thing you have to do. After all, this involves your family."

"I know but I want to have someone there when I go."

"Well first off, where does your mother live at?"

"She lives in Hamilton."

"Hamilton? That's a hour away from here! Would your brother allow you to leave Toronto?"

"Probably not but this is important. It's important to me Alice. I need to find out if Jasmine is somehow my sister and if she is, I want to find out why no one has told us about her. I need to hear it from her Alice and I need someone to be there with me too. I don't want to drive there and be bored out of my mind you know. I at least want some company while I'm driving." Alice looks at Matt as he was stating his case.

"How about this Alice, consider us going to Hamilton like an adventure."

"Why do you always call everywhere we go an adventure," Alice teased with a smile.

"Because it would be an adventure. I mean we can hang out for a while after I visit my grandmother. We don't necessarily have to immediately have to head back to T.O. We can have some fun; a lot of fun which is why you should come with me Alice." Alice thought about what Matt said for a moment before nodding her head.

"Alright then Matt I'll go," she finally said. "It sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun."

"Awesome."

"What time are we going?"

"Like twelve o' clock or something."

"Alright. So you still want to head to the rec center," she asked.

"Yeah. The sooner I'm gone from here with that woman inside, the better."

An hour later at a local store

"Hey there Jason how have you been," said the clerk as Jason entered the store. Jason simply nodded but the clerk could tell that Jason was distracted.
Whether it was due to his old age or how he saw Jason grabbed a twelve pack of beer; perhaps a little bit of both.

"So what's up Jason? I can tell something's on your mind," said the old clerk as Jason put the pick of beer on the stand.

"You have no idea Hank," Jason muttered back before paying for his pack of beer.

"Care to explain or is it too personal?"

"No it's cool sir. But you're probably are not going to believe what happened after I tell you."

"Jason, I've lived on this earth for a long time. I have two daughters and a son; at this stage of my life, nothing surprises me."

"Well try this for size. A couple of hours ago I heard someone knock on my door. So I opened to see who it was and it was this stranger that I've never met before. But here's where it gets confusing. She immediately says my name and i asked her how did she know me. And then she responded in saying that she was my sister." The clerk raised an eyebrow in shock as Jason run his hands through his hair.

"Wow kid that is a surprise," Hank finally said.

"Yeah that's an understatement."

"So do you believe her?" Jason let out a sigh while grabbing his twelve pack.

"I don't know Hank. She showed me a birth certificate with my parents' signatures on it. She also showed Kelly and I a picture of her and my father so at this point I don't know what to believe."

"I see."

"There's not much that I can do though. At first I thought there was no way she could be my older sister. I mean it's not everyday that someone knocks on your door and says something like that. However in a way I don't think she's lying. She had the birth certificate, which looked legit and she already knew about Matt and I. So perhaps there is an outside chance that she could be my sister. But then at the same time, I have never heard about him in my life. I know my mother never mentioned her and that's what make things sketchy about this. I don't know Hank; I just don't know."

"How did Matt take it?"

"He immediately dismissed it. He called her a liar right in her face and then bolted. He's taking this a lot harder than me but I can't blame him."

"Yeah I know. So Jason, how are you and Matt going to deal with this?"

"I haven't thought about that yet. I'm just going to let things cool down before I think about what I'm going to do next."

"Sounds like a plan Jason. I wish the best for you kid."

"Thanks sir," Jason nodded before existing out of the store and out to the cold weather. The snow was beginning to come down and Jason wasn't wearing his hat nor gloves so he was becoming cold.

"Jason," a voice called. It was a familiar voice and once Jason turned away, he saw her. He saw Madison, a woman who just like Jason, was a cocaine addict and even received those drugs from Christian, the same guy that dealt the same stuff to Jason. Also, the two had a brief relationship after Jason's mother died two years ago and when he thought he lost Kelly forever. Even still, she was very petite and attractive looking with her long black hair and perfect smile.

"Madison," he said with a stunned expression. "How long has it been since the last thing we saw each other?"

"I think it's been two years."

"Yeah something like that. Um how have you been?"

"I've been great Jason. I've been clean off coke for a year now so things have been good for me. What about you and Matt?"

"I've been clean for two years. My brother actually lives with me now so we're just making it you know."

"That's good. I was worried about what happened to you after you know what happened two years ago. I'm really glad that your even alive because for a moment I thought you didn't make it. But I'm glad you did for you and your brother."

"Same here. I didn't think I would survive that too. Luckily I don't have to deal with that anymore though recently someone else came up."

"Something else?"

"Yeah it's really a long story."

"And?"

"What?" Madison made a pout face toward Jason.

"You might as well spill the details Jason," she later muttered with a smile.

"Are you that interested to finding out?"

"Well when you lead a girl on about stuff without actually telling her about it makes them intrigued to find out what it is."

"Fine then since you want to know so bad. It turns out I have a secret sister I never knew about."

"What?"

"Yup some girl knocked on my door with a birth certificate and she even knew who Matt and I were."

Wow that's like soap opera type stuff."

"I know right?"

"So do you believe her?"

"Not sure yet but we'll find out soon enough. Anyways Madison i have to go but it's nice seeing you again."

"Hey you make it seem as if you'll never see me again."

"Well I didn't say that but I'm sure you're busy these days. And besides now I'm a professional wrestler so I'm always on the road."

"Wait you finally became a wrestler? Congrats Jason. How long has you been wrestling?"

"Next week will make it two years since I started."

"Wow awesome stuff Jason."

"It's no big deal. But it's been fun."

"Look Jason we should hang out sometime. I mean other than working at this crapping cell phone shop I don't have anything to do really."

"That sounds nice," Jason replied.

"Alright then. I should probably give you my number." Madison soon grabbed Jason's phone, which was hanging out of his hoodie pocket and quickly put her number into his contacts list.

"There it's in there," she said.

"Well I guess I'll see you around Madison," Jason said before hugging her. As they break apart Jason waves to her before walking to his car and putting the pack of beer in his backseat. As Jason finally entered his car. he thought about everything that happened today and shook his head with a smile.

"Just when I think everything will go back to normal."

The Majestic cameras spot Jason Wilde backstage sporting a black t-shirt with blue pants. Once he sees the camera he scoffs.

Wilde: So this is it. The 2012 God of Wrestling Tournament. Thirty two men from Supreme Championship Wrestling, Majestic Wrestling, New Wave, UWA and even some free agents will compete until one man is left standing as the winner. We got some tough competitors here in this tournament. From Jake Starr, David helms, Shilo Valiant, Datura and even the man that costed me the Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship Xavier Magnus.

Now you people here at Majestic aren't familiar with me and if you were, you know that I'm not one of these guys that wants money or fame or brag about how many women I've fucked. What I am is a wrestler; that's why I'm the last of a Dying Breed. Because unlike other people, I don't need to talk to make my point across. I prefer to let what I do in that ring speak for itself. That's how wrestling used to be back in the territorial days and that's how I do business.

But I will say this, being the only representative of Commonwealth Wrestling in this tournament, I have a lot to prove. See when people look at me, they're probably going to just dismiss me because I'm in SCW's developmental promotion or that I don't have the titles and accomplishments like some do. Hell I know people are going to look down on me simply because I'm Canadian and that's fine because if anyone does feel this way about me, well they're quickly going to find out the hard way. And then maybe they won't be so quick to promote themselves or try to sound tough but end up coming off as less credible than Mitch Rommney.

Which brings me to you Eric Phoenix. I'll be honest, I don't know that much about you and I'm sure you feel the same way about me. Now I'm not going to trash you or throw insults at you because that would be a waste of time. I don't know if you will do the same to me and quite frankly I don't care. You could come on screen and just try to verbally attack me and you won't see me get upset.

But I am going to tell you this. I hope you're not underestimating me Eric. There's a reason why I was the only one asked to participate in this tournament on behalf of Commonwealth. It's because I'm not a pushover. Sure I may not be the strongest or the tallest of the most technically sound, but when I go in that ring, I prove why I'm good wrestler. There may not be a faster guy in this tournament other than me. And I use that quickness to my advantage and it's the reason why over the past seven months, I've only lost three times.

I'm pretty sure you're going to motivated to win this match and go on to win the tournament. I'm sure you want to make a name for yourself by winning this tournament. But guess what Eric? I'm hungrier. I'm more determined to prove to the world what Jason Wilde has to offer. I'm more hungrier to showcase my talents the right way. And that's not by going on the microphone and boring everyone to death a a monotone voice about how great I am. I'm going to do it the old fashioned way and that's by wrestling.

Eric, when you and I face you won't just be facing a twenty two year old kid from Canada looking to have a successful tournament run. Instead you're going to be facing a twenty two year old kid from Canada with an entire company on his shoulders and the pressure to put Commonwealth on the map. By losing this match, Commonwealth will quickly regret even sending me here to represent them proudly. however if I win, I prove that there choice was the right choice instead of choosing our loudmouth, pathetic excuse of a champion Asher Hayes.

So as you can see Eric, I'm not going out there just to have a good time or a great showing. I'm going out there to win; I'm going out there with the intention of advancing to the next round. I'm going out there to show that even though we're considered young talent that Commonwealth Wrestling has one of the best crop of wrestlers in wrestling today. It's up to me to make that statement known and Eric, you're going to have to do a hell of a lot to put me down

Eric, I'm sure you're going to test me. I'm sure you're going to give me a challenge or at least that's what I'm hoping for. I hope for your sake you're not underestimating me because if you come into this match with that mindset, you're going to lose. If you dismiss me for one second, you're going to pay dearly for it. Jason Wilde is no one worth looking past. When you face me, you're going see what I'm capable of doing. And I know by the end of the match, it will be me that comes out the winner. I'm not going to be existed out this early before I make a name for myself. My run is only beginning and you're not going to be able to stop me Eric.

So the choice is yours Eric. You can either treat this match as a warn up and quickly regret it? Or you can show up and give me everything you got. Either way Eric, Jason Wilde isn't going nowhere anytime soon. See you out there Eric.

Jason walks away as the scene fades to black.
