OOC Note: I went ahead and typed this as I'm not sure if I'll have any time to do so after as I'll be working on other things. So I figured I'd go ahead and post now in fear that I'll forget.

The scene opens up at a very large pent house owned by Remy's newest “friend” and or “employer” whichever you may see it. The places just has a look about it like it was modeled by Martha Stewart which explains it's over done compensating factor. Remy is seen at the refrigerator gulping down a bottle of water. Right then a voice can be heard from another room. It's the voice of the very old and rich Ellen.

Ellen: OH REMY! I'M GETTING A LITTLE LONELY! DON'T THINK THAT I WON'T TAKE AWAY OUR LITTLE ARANGEMENT IF YOU TRY AND SNEAK OUT ON ME NOW!

Remy's arms drop as if he's lifeless and without a soul. He turns and looks down the hall way as the outline of Ellen's body can be seen against the wall because of the lamp beside her. She's on all fours shaking her ass as if she's some sort of dog. Remy looks up at the ceiling for some sort of answer however he's got nothing.

Remy: Oh there is only so much a man can endure before he reaches a point of no return. Ah think that I'm so far past that point that ah can't even see it no more. Ah turn around and ah see a life in which ah was so innocent. Ah was a good boy now I've left with a man who needs to have sex with a MUCH older woman in order to even get by.

Remy takes another drink of the water before emptying the rest of it upon his face and hair. He takes the rubber hand off of his wrist and pulls his long brown hair back and ties it up. He takes a couple jumps in the air trying to hype himself up.

Remy: You can do this Remy...she ain't milked you dry yet. Just picture someone 40 years her younger. Oh hell who am ah kidding? Ah could take a nap under that arm flap. Ah swear it's a damn sin being this good lookin'. Some people say whatever pays the bills right? Well ah been selling my sweet ass for paying bills since I was 18 years of age. However this...this just takes things to an entire new level. F my own mother saw me now she'd...already she'd probably laugh and say ah deserve to be a sex slave to a rich old woman but still I'm sure she'd be dying a bit on the inside.

Ellen: REMY! GET THAT SWEET ASS BACK IN HERE!!!

Remy starts to weep a bit before he slowly walks towards the bedroom.

Remy: Maybe there are worse things then dying.

Remy reaches the bedroom door and looks in as Ellen is purring like a cat and pretending she has claws. Normally this could be seen as a turn on however when you're a woman pushing 80 years of age and the spider veins are pushing up her body it tends to be the thought of night mares.

Ellen: There you are my spicy little tart! Now come on honey...bring some of that hot cajun seasoning over here and spice up my body!

Remy: Come on Ellen, can't we just ya know...cuddle?

Ellen: Cuddle? What are you some kind of a pussy? Ya know I might have had you pegged wrong Boudreaux, maybe I'll just called your loan shark friend and tell him that the deal is off.

Ellen goes to grab the phone as Remy quickly gets onto the bed.

Remy: No, no, no that ain't really necessary my dear chere...see ol' Remy was just playin' games ya know like hide n seek.

Ellen: Well if it's hide n seek we're playing I think I've already found what I'm looking for.

Ellen grabs a full grip of Remy's business as Remy yelps a bit.

Ellen: I need more of this in my life! I've gonna say Remy momma likes what she's paying for!

Remy: Please oh please don't call yourself momma it's really creeping me out.

Ellen: Oh (pouts a bit) does the little baby not like it when someone owns him?

Remy's face goes to that of pure horror as she begins to bring down her top revealing the saggiest of breasts.

Ellen: Well maybe this little baby needs to be breast fed.

Remy places his hand over his mouth in anticipation of puking. Right then Ellen grabs Remy's head and presses his face right into her chest moaning in the mean time.

Ellen: Oh yes you know how momma likes it! Those better not be tears that I'm feeling down there!

The scene cuts out as Ellen continues to moan.

------------------------

The scene shows Remy slowly walking out the door of the building in which Ellen's pent house sweet is located. He has his arms crossed as if he's trying his best to cover himself up. Right then one of Ellen's associates runs out the door and catches Remy.

Guy: Miss Weis sent me down here to give you some cab fair.

The man hands Remy a hand full of cash as Remy nods and turns away continuing on his way walking down the side walk of the Las Vegas strip. He then spots a very attractive girl catching a cab. He walks up to her with a smile.

Remy: Oh pardon me petit, let me get that door for you.

The girl smiles a bit as Remy opens the door to the cab.

Girl: Thank you....?

Remy: Remy...the name is Remy Boudreaux.

Girl: Oh well thank you Remy, that's an interesting accent you got goin' on there.

Remy: Ah get that a lot chere, why don't you invite me back to your place and we can discuss it over a fine bottle of wine?

Girl: Mmm well that all sounds good but how bout we just go to my place and have sex instead?

Even the mention of the word takes Remy's mind right back to the previous hours he's just spent “satisfying” Ellen as he shakes the thought loose he backs away from the girl in a fuss.

Remy: Ah....ah....I'm sorry ah can't ah forgot ah uh....got a thing.

Remy rushes away as the girl shrugs her shoulders before getting into the cab. Remy begins to speed walk down the strip thinking out loud.

Remy: Damn you, you vile woman! Remy ain't ever saw a female face that he didn't like. Ok that's a lie but my god how could a woman her age even be sexually active? She...she has managed to ruin Remy for the rest of the female population. How am ah supposed to spread my seed when ah am completely terrified of even...doing it anymore. Damn you Ellen you wrinkly old rich bitch. Ah if only Remy had some other way to make some money. Majestic ain't payin' me enough to support my kind of lifestyle. I'm the ragin' cajun and ah live fast and loose with women and with my money. Ah shouldn't be penalized for such behavior Remy is a good boy who ain't even done no harm to no one who ain't deserved it.

Remy continues on his walk as his signals for a cab only for it to fly straight past him. He turns to focus on the side walk ahead of him. His phone starts to vibrate so he pulls it out of his pocket it's from Ellen and it simply reads: “Tomorrow night 7 PM.” Remy sighs before placing his phone right back into his pocket.

Remy: Well it seems as though Remy a one woman man right now. This ol' lady gonna have me tied down like a dog in the front yard. How's a guy like me supposed to live his life when he's on such a short leash? Ah mean ah am a ladies man in every form of the word. I wine dine and ah say good bye in the mornin' like a true gentleman. However it seems as though my wild dealin' life style could be on hold until ah...hell ah don't even know when this will be over unless ah make my own money. But who want's to go through that trouble huh? Remy just livin' with what he got and he got women and he got charm. It's a shame that it's all going to a bad cause. Ah mean how is one supposed to look back on things like this knowing they're wrong only to move forward into a knew woman without the horror in which the past presents? Ah mean does a Doctor who looks at vagina's all day long wanna go home and pleasure his wife? When you've seen the worst of women, the fattest of women, the loosest of women right in front of you for inspection do you really wanna go home and see more from your own wife? Remy, he's seen the worst and he's forever scared. Wait a minute...Remy he damanged.

Right then Remy gets a smile across his face as an idea hits him.

Remy: Ah may be doing sex for some money but it may have created a decent situation ahead.

Remy see's a pretty girl smoking outside of a bar leaning against the wall.

Remy: Ah been given a pick up line. Ah mean hell...if ah seen the worst not much a guy like me can fear from now on right? Blessing in disguise if ah ever saw one.

Remy walks up to the girl holding a cigarette of his own asking for a light with a smile.

------------------------

The camera shows Remy Boudreaux standing in front of a table. There is a lamp on shining down onto the table where Remy's hand is placed on top of a large bible. The red glow of his cigarette shows the outline of his lips as he removes it and blows smoke right onto the bible.

Remy: Ah, Remy Boudreaux here by swear to speak the whole truth and nothin' but the truth so help me God.

Remy removes his hand before placing his cigarette in an ash tray and sitting down letting the light from the lamp reach his face. Remy has a huge smile stretching across his face.

Remy: It's funny how desperate people can get don't you think mon ami? Ah mean here ah am, Remy Boudreaux the most lovable human being God could have ever created, well that ain't true. God didn't create me, my own mother did with whoever the hell my father may be. But ah digress, people get so desperate to right the wrongs they have done or to bring justice to the world and punish the wicked. For a man with such religious implications Scorpion ah believe you know what I'm speaking of. See ah had to go to my best friend Hiro's own partner to try and win a bet with one Ace Marshall. Sadly enough that woman don't know she loves me yet so here ah am...like a knight in shining armor about to destroy the demon in which holds my friend Hiro captive like a damsel in distress. The old hero that is Remy rushes to the aid of his friend in order to release him from captivity by a wicked creature known as Scorpion.

A man like you mon ami, you tend to justify your actions with faith. As if this religious zealot thing you got going on justifies kidnapping another human being for his own gain. Now ah may be a bit rusty on my church going ain't what you're doing a sin? Ol' Remy ain't the smartest crayon in the drawer but there's something about this situation that catches me at odds. See for a man of your stature and nature you're to believe that everything you're doing is in the name of God our lord and savior. Well if that's the case then how does you being Premiere Champion associate with God's will? Seems to me like you're just blowing smoke mon ami. You're blowing smoke just like ah am with this here cigarette.

Remy takes a drag of his cigarette before blowing out a couple circles.

Remy: See smoke is used for certain things Scorpion. It's used to hide things or to divert attention. Ah have come to a realization that you are using smoke to disguise your true intentions and you're so cowardly to use God as a scape goat. Ya see Scorpion judging by your name you're a dangerous creature with the power to bring down Achilles himself with just the smallest of a strike. Now someone like you tends to hold a lot of venom built up to a degree that they're out just searching for victims to release it upon. You mon ami are using this venom and using your religious beliefs to force yourself on people and to trick them into believing in some high power that you so desperately believe in. I'm pretty sure it ain't in no Bible to kidnap a Jap and hold him for ransom mon ami. Pretty sure what you're doin is the work of the Devil and it could be quite possible for you to be indoctrinated by ol Lucifer himself and makin you do his dirty work staining the good Lord's name with the blood in which you spread. See Remy don't like that especially when one of those people are my friend Hiro.

The lovely beauty that is Claire Bailey may have thought that ah was desperate for a female companion however it's just the opposite. She was desperate to find a hero to save her partner from the evil doing of a Religious Zealot like yourself. See Scorpion people are being very desperate these days and now it seems as though you have no only kidnapped another human bein' but you have also stole. Stealing that ah know is a sin. See you may not realize it because your mind ain't in the right zip code right now because you're looking straight through a tunnel an only see one exit. You're a thief mon ami, you stole a Premiere Championship shot that should have gone directly to Remy. So despite this little issue you got going on with my friend Hiro you've also added yet another sin to your list which effects me and makes this more personal than you might think.

Growing up in New Orleans ah have seen many wicked kind but you? You seem to take the cake by tarnishin' a man's name simply by spewing it with your venomous mouth. With every thump you give the Bible an Angel loses it's wings mon ami because your work ain't of God's will it's of your own selfish gain and using a poor Jap man to get what you want is a testament to that. A testament to selfishness not to God your little scape goat.

Ya see just because people tell ya “with all do respect” doesn't mean you're allowed to say whatever it is that's on your mind. Just because people tell ya “no offense” simply tells you that what they're gonna tell you is highly offensive. Just because a man praises the will of our Lord doesn't make him right. It just makes him an idiot for looking to someone else for all the answers. People talk about destiny and fate as if it's some form of plan, Remy ain't buying into that mumbo jumbo because Remy don't like to be tied down. He don't like to feel like he ain't in control of his own actions. Scorpion you seem to be blindly following your faith despite the wrong path it's leading you down. The path it's leading you down ain't the path of salvation it's the path of destruction. Go ahead and humor me for a second Scorpion. If your faith is so strong, what if this whole thing was a test of said faith? What if you were tempted by an apple in the variation of a Championship Belt? Oh, you bit that apple mon ami. You failed with flying colors.

Remy takes another quick drag of his cigarette before adjusting his fedora a bit.

Remy: Ah once heard that you have got to sink incredibly low before you start looking up for answers. Ah get the feeling that you...judging by your demeanor and how you carry yourself must have sunk incredibly low in order for you to embrace something like the Lord. However there is something you ought to know...some things can't be forgiven. Just because you pray and you speak kindly of a man in the clouds don't mean whatever wicked things you done in the past are forgotten or without punishment. One day mon ami you're gonna have to pay for the sins in which you have committed especially those of recent memory. One day you'll be asked to pay for them and just because you thumped your Bible and you quoted your scriptures ain't gonna mean a thing when you're at the mercy of the all powerfull.

It's a fitting name mon ami...Salvation where we're going to witness the battle history has been speaking of since the beginnin' of time. Good vs Evil...(laughs) the power of good and righteousness being by the side of Remy Boudreaux and the power of evil being by the side of Scorpion. Who wins? Well if our own history's have anything to say about it it's gonna be an epic battle mon ami. The Bible speaks of David vs Goliath well what happens when it's Goliath vs Goliath? That seems to be where we're sitting now Scorpion. We're gonna witness the hero of Remy Boudreaux riding his horse of righteousness onward to slay the wicked beast holdin' one Hiro captive. Then...you're gonna be left with faith at your side and a peace of mind knowing that what you did was wrong. However, ah guess peace don't come to the wicked.

Remy takes a look at the Bible closely.

Remy: Funny how a book is supposed to hold all the answers.

Remy then takes his cigarette and begins to burn the pages of the Bible while calmly staring at it.

Remy: Ah for one like not havin' all the answers tis half the fun findin' them. So Scorpion you can pat this thing all you want and force it in our faces but when it comes right down to it you're just kiddin' yourself because we on our own in this world. Life is random: deal you a full house or a busted flush. When the time comes we'll all be nothing but ash.

Remy smiles before walking away as the camera focuses on the burning Bible and the ashes that the pages are leaving behind.

"Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous." Psalm 1:5

It is only natural isn't it? It is only natural for the human being to desire a place to belong. They fear their isolation and only wish to belong to a group so that they may gain the love and admiration of others. Do societies not form due to humans banding together for the purpose of survival? Do marriages not come about due to the inherent human desire to be loved? The concept of the congregation is also prevalent in this example, as people wish to practice their faith among others as a means of verification, their proof that they are not alone in their way of thinking. In a world dominated by spiritual weakness, people require this superficial affirmation in order to express their true beliefs. Therefore the conception of "church" is nothing more than individuals banding together for a common goal, much the same way as the generally regarded secular human society.

However, as with any organized group, there will always be those refused membership into its perceived exclusive ranks. Disqualified by a wide variety of traits or actions, what are those who are rejected to do? Some swear their lives to revenge and seek only the destruction of those who emotionally injured them through rejection. Others seek a second organization while hanging onto the faint hope that they will find the acceptance they seek. Still others however simply choose to end their lives at that point, as failing to perform a basic human instinct is justification for ending life in their eyes. Therefore, one must ask the logical question of what befalls those that would be rejected by the human church. What is the true fate of those that would be refused the communion of the earthly lord and be forced to live of a life of spiritual isolation?

Despite the general belief that those out of the earthen church would face eternal damnation, the truth is that the opposite takes effect. For those who are not imbued with the synthetic doctrine of the false messiah are more capable of opening their hearts to the one true lord. It is a natural and logical human progression, if one is refused by a given side, he will inevitably seek acceptance from the alternate side. If a group refuses oneself, you will naturally seek to join with that same group's enemy. Just as one does not belong to numerous churches at once, one also does not believe in both the great and merciful true lord and the fabricated savior at the same time. The concept of "sacrilege" in the human world is in actuality a cry for help to the true lord and savior, a plea for assistance in ridding the world of human sin so that they may enter purgatory and attempt to prove their worthiness of blessing the hallowed soil of a resurrected paradise known as Eden.

However simply begging for assistance is not enough to warrant the divine being to manipulate the threads of human fate. One must prove their worthiness of assistance through their actions and vows. They must give themselves over completely to the will of god, forsaking any semblance of normal earthly life in the name of achieving eternal paradise after bodily death. This trait can be seen in the earthly faiths as well. For to join a church, must not one be approved for admittance by its current members? What are the grounds for this acceptance? Something about that individual must change to meet the standards required for admittance into the group. Due to the inherent human desire to belong, they are willing to conform to this congregational will and make the necessary changes. This same concept applies to the grand design of fate, as one must make the necessary alterations to be allowed admittance into its eternal flux.

Those who damn the synthetic messiah are not automatically deemed worthy for admittance to the true messiah’s heavenly paradise. One must make the ultimate sacrifice to prove themselves worthy of the ultimate prize. One extreme yielding another extreme. Is this not a logical progression of fate? If one wrongs another, does not one wish to repay the wrong? If one does good deeds for others, does not one expect good deeds in return? There is no concept that results in unrewarded giving, every give must be coincided by a take. This is the way of the world under the eyes of god. Therefore, one must give everything if they wish to achieve eternal paradise, for there is no greater gift to give. If one is unwilling to make the sacrifice, they are unworthy of the final prize.

There are those who damn the false lord but still refuse to revere the true lord. It is those of this ideology that will see their fates shared along with the sinful masses. For the true will of god does not desire mere damnation of the synthetic lord, he desires admiration of the true word. After all, if one kills an abusive father, does he automatically find his conscience free of the sin of murder? Everything has a condition and conditions must always be met. Even those who would damn the synthetic lord would not find favor with the true higher one until the necessary actions are taken. Until these actions occur they are nothing more than a separate category of sinners. Sinner and saint are the only differentiation made; therefore one must become saintly to embrace paradise. Any who do not make this change shall fall in defeat at the hands of the messenger. Bless the messenger for his tireless efforts!

The eyes quickly open and the young one slowly drops to the ground, pouring sweat and breathing heavily. The meditation has dramatically increased in intensity in the wake of the forthcoming battle, taking a physical toll on the dark one’s earthly body. As the chest pulsates over and over, the dark soul draws in as much oxygen as he can, attempting to restore precious energy to a physical form that has been exhausted by the intense preparation to do the will of god. All the while the holy mind continues to work as efficiently as a clock, plotting his next strategy and conjuring plans as to how to best perform the will of the messiah. Such intense preparation is necessary for the holy son, as he must please his father greatly if he is to be allowed the honor of continuing to exist physically so that he might perform the divine will.

Finally the pulsations cease and the sweat ceases to flow, the earthly body temporarily resuscitated. The heavenly follower slowly grasps onto the wooden frame in front of him with his right hand and pulls himself to his feet once more. As he rests both hands on the pew in front of him, the evil being known as The Scorpion slowly gazes at his surroundings. Situated in beautiful and decorative church, the young one resides on the very last pew, resting on the pew in front of him. He softly gazes at the decorative colored windows and the crosses that populate the massive chapel. He eyes divert now to the front of the large room, noting the small baptismal chamber and the choir benches. Truly he is in a place that is most well maintained, as nary an inch of the large chapel is out of place or recently disturbed. Noticing the pulpit at the front of the chapel, the young one's mind quickly enters into activity once again.

He realizes that his current setting is the inner core of the den of inequity, the base of operations for the pagans to plan their movements against the divine will of god. Under the guise of faith they brainwash and abuse the sheep that come to them for help. Like livestock the ignorant humans are lined up and slaughtered as sacrificial lambs by the light brigade of god, all to protect the cowardly human leaders who know the truth and refuse to battle themselves. However it matters not to the holy messiah or his loyal messenger, for the slaughter of pagans simply reduces the number that the messenger must strike down himself. One must worry solely about victory and defeat, any entrance of human emotion is an unneeded and distracting weakness. The casualties of the enemy matter not to the victor in war, only the concept of win and loss.

With this thought in mind, the young one slowly sits upon the soft fabric of the pew and bows his head. Resembling an average earthly churchgoer, the young one enters into prayer to the very divine being that would bring about the human church’s destruction...

"Hallowed by thy name blessed savior, the holy will shall come to fruition. My father, surely you have seen the futile attempts to divert your messenger's focus. The childish demonstrations and petty insults that are hurled at the one imbued with the seraphic radiance of the gods. How truly foolish the sheep are my lord, for they actually believe that anything on this planet will divert my determination to perform your holy will. They believe that their antics shall stop the flux of the great chain of fate, yet like always they will fail. We have this one by the name of Remy Boudreaux, a man whose mere existence openly mocks the very tenets with which the lord expects those to abide. He feels that this change in name coupled with his unsubstantiated claims of superiority will give him a psychological advantage. He is truly so base that he believes the simplicity of a mere name will be a basis for altering the perception of the soul. I am constantly perplexed as to the illogicalities of humanity father. After all, a sin is still a sin regardless of whether or not is explicitly known as a sin. Alas, it is nothing that I can truly control at this point in time. All I can control is the power in my own essence, which unfortunately for my enemy is a power that can make the very foundations of nature itself tremble in fear."

At this point, The Scorpion is forced to stop and collect his thoughts before the rage inside of his soul boils over once again. The fiery anger at the thought of people mocking both the lord and his messenger; it is a burden that so few could possibly bear. Nevertheless, he bears his cross with dignity as he regains control and continues.

"While my primary focus is that fool Hiro Tanaka, Remy Boudreux has seen fit to become the new actor in our play. However, it seems that he also shares the mindset of Hiro Tanaka, though it is to be expected that fellow humans would share a brother in sin's asinine logic. Dear lord, what a testament to the incredible ignorance of the human race. It is nearly laughable my father, such ignorance would be impossible to find in any other species on this planet. This one called Remy Boudreux openly espouses a motivation based solely in the notion of gaining pleasure in the most sinful way possible. What a testament to his lack of intellect. All of my enemies attack my faith as being deluded and elitist due to the false doctrine I would supposedly follow preaching of self-advancement as a better alternative? Truly there can be no more ignorant assumption on this entire planet. Does Remy Boudreux truly believe that mere human desire is enough to thwart the will of god? My loyalties lie not with synthetic messiahs and falsified doctrines, but with your holy will and the fate of Mother Earth. I seek not to kill in the name of god, but to save Mother Earth in the name of purity. Through my tasks the world shall be saved. I exist to resurrect the paradise of Eden and join you my lord, not to simply further my own means in the name of faith. I have disregarded all concepts of earthly gains and have given up all feelings of human desire. I exist only as a loyal servant of the divine law."

His prayers completed, the young soul breaks his intense posture and rises to his feet once more. He slowly exits the pew and walks into the central aisle of the chapel, his apparent destination the pulpit at the front of the house of worship. As he walks his mind begins working once again, as he ponders the thoughts of normal human beings who enter into these walls to perform blasphemy. He wonders how they justify their actions to themselves, of what excuses they will concoct when asked to answer for their sins on the altar of judgment. Though curious, he quickly brushes the thoughts from his mind and accelerates the speed of his stride. He quickly reaches his intended target and casually reaches behind a nearby podium, producing a copy of the Holy Bible, obviously placed there for the minister to use during the service. He holds the Bible in his hands and slowly takes another seat, this time on the very front pew.

He slowly opens the smooth leather cover of the book and begins to casually flip through the pages. He realizes that he holds the beacon of light that illuminates the enemy's path in his very hands. The words of blasphemy written in the book serve as the enemy's empowerment, for they have sworn allegiance to a false messiah that will not be there when they truly need assistance. History tells him that the best means for defeating a tyrant is to eliminate that which he may tyrannize; therefore he knows that by laying claim to the enemy source of power the chain reaction will ultimately destroy his true foe. Ironically the pagan faith does hold a single truth, as it ultimately boils down to the words written in the blasphemous text that the faithful servant currently possesses. Truly he stands in the heart of the lion's den...

Once again realizing the importance of his forthcoming task, the dark one quickly drops the Bible to the floor below and proceeds to take a slow gaze around the chapel once again. While formulating plans of attack for his upcoming battle he also again wonders about the thoughts flowing through the inferior minds. He attempts to imagine a thought process that remains clouded and blurred, of a way of thinking in total darkness as opposed to one illuminated by god's holy light. He now thinks of the ignorant fools who seem to believe that he represents a false deity as opposed to the true heavenly savior. Soon the confusion mounts into rage, a passionate rage aimed at those that would undermine the importance of his work by relating him to a "savior" that will fall with his sinful brethren and suffer an eternity of pain and torment in the realm of oblivion. The rage mounts more and more, literally blinding the young one's sight, threatening to overflow and cause him to explode in anger at any second.

The faithful follower known as The Scorpion continues to seethe in intense anger even now as he grips the side of the pew in a powerful attempt to curb his violent rage. He begins to literally shake with rage, the thought of being compared to a normal preacher of the false word angering him to the point of nearly uncontrollable violence. He continues to shake with anger, but quickly calms himself when he hears a thud on the ground below. He quickly looks down and sees the cross that was attached to the pulpit has become dislodged and fallen due to the shaking. However, the sight of this symbol has a bizarre effect on the young soul, as it quickly calms him down. The sight of the basic wooden symbol calms the evil one as he quickly lets go of the pew and picks up the cross, resuming his previous seated position on the pew, his episode of rage seemingly passed.

He gazes softly at the wooden cross in his hands now, realizing that he holds yet another beacon of hope that the pagan army would look to. Just as the book before him contained words of empowerment, the symbol resting his arms represents empowerment through the idea of success. If one comes to know the symbol than it is presumed he comes to know the god it symbolizes. When this acknowledgement is applied to enemies in war, it is only natural that it would have an empowering effect. However, every yin must possess a yang, for the world in which the populace of humans live is a world of balance. A famous mortal summed it up in the most concrete of ways: for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. This logic applies in cases of war as well, for just as obtaining the symbol may empower one against his enemies, should that same symbol fall into enemy hands the result with a drastic drop in confidence and empowerment. Knowing this, the dark spirit slowly puts his mind at ease, for he has in his possession two of the key sources of energy that his foes would feed off of.

With this calm revelation revealed to him, he slowly sits the cross on the pew beside him and kneels on the ground. He slowly closes his eyes and spreads his arms, entering into the trademark position of prayer and speaking aloud to the only lord and savior he swears allegiance to...

"I feel it father, I feel the intoxicating power flowing into my being at this very moment. Grant me the light my lord, grant me the golden seraphic radiance of the divine. With this power I shall continue on to execute the will of the gods. I will make certain there is never a severed link in the great chain of being. There are those that would attempt to break the chain my lord, but only upon the death of my earthly flesh will they ever succeed. A vain man named Remy Boudreux is attempting even now to sever the chains of fate, but will ultimately fail like all the others. Note that I do not mention the one named Hiro Tanaka in the same breath, for he exists to me in an entirely different dimension. The first rule of war my lord is to know thy enemy. However, neither he nor the rest of these ignorant fools do not even comprehend the true purpose of my mission, therefore how can they possibly expect to know what they are truly up against? In the quest for kingship there are no rules to gentlemen's warfare, simply ruthlessness and an insatiable desire to succeed. However I have the golden light of god to empower me whereas they do not. No matter how much Remy Boudreux might believe that he is among the best of his species, all power is meaningless without the holy light."

The Scorpion is forced to pause now and quickly swallow, his throat apparently drying out due to a lack of water. Such a state would seem alarming for a fighter preparing for battle, however such a state is common for a warrior of god, who must come to know complete sacrifice if he is to succeed in his mission. Suppressing his thoughts once again, he quickly picks up where he left off.

"Remy Boudreux may very well be a great earthly fighter, but he is but a hollow shell without the blessings of the true lord. He might enjoy prominence and prestige in the physical sense, however he is just a walking corpse, complete dead spiritually. The crown must only be placed upon the brow of the pure; therefore no pagan soul must ever be allowed to soil its glory with their putrid touch. It has been said in human history that kings ruled by divine right; however a king can never rule in the absence of a crown. Upon my laying claim to this crown dear father I shall immediately surrender it to you so that you may symbolize your status as king of heaven to the ignorant masses of the world. For those that are unable to comprehend the word of god, perhaps visual symbolism is required to solicit the proper understanding. Therefore I pledge on my loyalty to you that I shall lay claim to the kingship they admire so well and surrender it to you to further the divine will. My rage seethes deep within my spirit and my power flourishes through my faith, I am the one that will resurrect a dying world. Those such as Remy Boudreux would seek to plunge the dagger into the heart of the weakened Mother Earth; however I will be there to take the blow myself, for I have come to understand the concept of ultimate sacrifice. My father, I will make certain our paradise rises once again, no matter the cost!"

His plea to the heavens concluded, the dark essence known as The Scorpion slowly rises to his feet and quickly grabs the Bible in his hands once again. With Bible in hand he casually walks over to the nearby podium and places the book on its top. He calmly stands behind the pulpit and gazes at the rows of empty pews as his mind once again begins to formulate images. He thinks of the heretical preachers that would stand in this very spot, spewing the false rhetoric that would lead so many to eternal damnation. He imagines the room filled with mindless sheep, absorbed by the lies being spewed by their leaders and listening only to that which they desire to hear. He uses this knowledge as a further means of empowerment, for he has now visualized the very meeting place that would concoct plans to overthrow the true ruler of heaven. He has followed the most integral rule of war, he has come to know and understand his enemy, which shall only make it that much easier to annihilate them once the inevitable battle finally occurs.

However it is now that the rage begins to boil over in the dark one's mind once again. The anger associated with his intense misanthropy and the rage that comes from one who has dedicated an earthly existence to pain and destruction. The thoughts of the pagans defying the will of his lord enrage him evermore, building and seething like the lava of a volcano preparing to erupt. While the young one holds absolute control over his emotions, he proceeds to experience a temporary moment of uncontrollable insanity as he hurls the Bible down the aisle and manages to throw the heavy podium onto its side! The agony spills over now as The Scorpion unleashes an ear shattering scream of rage, so loud that the panes of the decorative colored windows actually rattle slightly from the vibrations made by his vocal chords. Immediately he grabs his temples and drops to his knees, obviously experiencing physical pain from his momentary mental lapse in control.

The disturbed young man soon regains his trademark control however and the demeanor indicating pain slowly fades. He has begun to sweat once again due to the intense mental injury, so he places his gloved right hand upon the floor and rests on one knee as he gains his breath. However, suddenly his head snaps up as he realizes that what has just happened was intended by the lord above. He takes note of his position and realizes that it is the same posture of a man who is being knighted by a king. He actually grins slightly as he realizes that his anger has been a message from the lord the entire time. It shall he his father who reigns as the king of heaven while he shall serve as the loyal templar, destroying all who would dare attempt to disrupt the flow of his lord's holy will. The crown he is to obtain is not for personal desire unlike his opponents, but instead a symbol that shall be used to further worship the true messiah. At this knowledge he actually snickers slightly, realizing that he has been in control the entire time, for all was preordained to occur by his heavenly king.

With this revelation, the young fighter slowly rises to his feet yet again and reclaims the cross from the nearby pew. He slowly clasps it in his gloved hand and reminds himself that this symbol shall rest in his possession only as long as the lord wishes it to. Inevitably he will surrender it to the lord above, but for now his is assigned the mission of guarding it from the hands of his enemies. The crown of earthly kingship must also be treated with this same urgency, for allowing the crown to rest upon the brow of an impure soul is the equivalent of suffering the humiliation of defeat on the battlefield. The angelic wars rage even now, yet The Scorpion knows he shall be the trump card for the forces of light. With his efforts, those of the light shall triumph due to his taking of two primary sources of power for the pagan foes. Truly he is proving his worthiness of the restored Eden, for through his efforts the hideous sin will finally be eliminated and Mother Earth shall be saved.

This final fleeting thought remains burned into his mind as he tightly holds the cross and casually walks down the central aisle. He sees the Bible lying in the floor and picks it up once again; obviously deciding that he should depart with it for the purpose of unlocking the secret of its power. For if he can decipher how it empowers his enemies he may prevent that same action and render the battle easier for the forces of holy light. Every task is performed with a purpose; there is no randomness or lack of meaning in any action he may perform. Such is the fate of one who has sacrificed humanity for immortality, as one must practice perfection if he is to be allowed to stand beside the most perfect of all beings. For now however, he must focus on the task at hand, that being the usurping of the earthly crown. By obtaining the crown the battle shall become closer to being won, therefore he does not care about the physical price he will undoubtedly pay. Physical scars heal, but mental anguish will last for all eternity...

This thought in mind, The Scorpion walks to the large wooden doors of the chapel and places his hand upon the handles. Before he exits however, he bows his head once more to speak aloud to the lord and savior who shall soon oversee the apocalyptic battle that his follower will participate in...

"I will show you my holy father, I will you show you the true capabilities of your devoted son. There is no attachment left to this human world my lord, I have burned away every shred of humanity in the purifying flames. I am pure of heart and mind; therefore I will not fail you. My current enemies will be held back by their human instincts and the infectious sins, yet I shall persevere due to my pure spirit and status among the gods. How can this Remy Boudreux, a man openly advocating selfish and sinful gain as a motivation, possibly hope to comprehend a mind devoted solely to the divine will? Is he truly so arrogant as to believe that happiness comes from the self? That is comes from physical pleasure? That is completely impossible, for it is only through the gift of god that human beings experience any semblance of positivity in their meaningless lives. Of course, such a reality is anathema to what the likes of Remy Boudreux represent, for to live such a life would be to put the good of the world ahead of oneself. It is easier to put a camel through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of god. Therefore Remy Boudreux is in fact openly advocating defiance of the divine law. Father, just know that I will not allow this blasphemy to go unpunished. He will pay for his sins..."

The Scorpion looks to continue, but once again has cease his speech and draw several deep breaths. He does not want to show a lack of control and let his anger show once again, thus he makes a concerted effort to calm himself before attempting to continue. The level of devotion the young man possesses is truly amazing, for even the smallest of actions is afforded the most complex of analysis as to how it might be viewed in the eyes of god. Apparently under control once again, he continues.

"What is a priest that defies the very message that he preaches? In that case he is nothing more than a fraud falsely masquerading as a messenger of lord. This one known as Remy Boudreux is such a fraud. Although he claims to fight for some perverse sense of honor, the lord pulls back the smokescreen and is able to view the pure and complete truth. Such a mentality is blasphemous, a blatant act of defiance due to the base nature of the human psyche. When an average soul hears of such a motive, will not their minds immediately turn to "good men" of faith? This is Remy Boudreux's true intention, to utilize such an image as a means of empowerment. Unfortunately for him, he has now come to face the challenge of a man that truly IS empowered by the divine will. Once that battle has concluded, the masses will then see that the fake is no match for the real thing. No matter the pain my flesh suffers, I shall battle through it. No matter what psychological trauma is inflicted, I will continue to carry on. To fail is to make my entire existence worthless and in vain, thus I will fade into nothingness before such an instance occurs. Bless me beloved savior, your child is about to go to battle in your name once again..."

With this final message, The Scorpion pushes down the handles on the doors and watches as they slowly open with a creak. He takes one final glance at the pulpit which previous held the cross as a reminder of the powers granted to him before calmly walking through the doors and into the never-ending darkness of the night...
