I just got back from the Pokemon Black and White tour in the mall in Phillie and I must say it was pretty darn fun. Some of the stuff was pretty corny, like how you had to go around the mall getting five stamps at different stamp booths in order to be able to spin the wheel for a prize. The prizes were mediocre, but that was the least of the tour (they had things like styluses and plushies, my brother got a Tepig stylus and I got a Tepig plushie). Probably the most enjoyable part was being able to see just how awesome the mall was compared to the ones we have in Jersey. It was quite overwhelming how much you had to walk because of how huge it was, we weren't very used to it. Another thing they had was a very short demo you could do after watching a short video introducing some of the Pokemon and features in Black/White, and then you got a little pin after you finished that. At some point they did have a thing where you could take pictures with Pokemon in costumes, but the lines was so HUMONGOUS that it just wasn't worth it. They had a little shop where you could by shirts and figures of the two legendaries as well (my brother got two of the big legendary figures and three of the small starter figures for us). They did have an episode of Pokemon: Best Wishes (the new season of Pokemon for the Unova region) playing on a TV, but I didn't really bother with that. They also had a free theater-viewing of the new Zoroark Pokemon movie (also located in the mall). It actually was surprisingly good, though I did doze off a lot for fifteen minutes of it, whether it be because of lack of sleep or whatever. We also ate at the food court, got a couple random games at Five Below, and checked out some of the game stores (they had some we had never seen, like Game Store and Game Traders, but they also had Game Stop- in the mall that is) among others. We were really hoping to battle a bunch of people since a TON of people had their DS's with them, along with us, but it was more difficult than we thought to battle with people at random through the Union room nowadays. And I forgot to mention, that we also got a level 50 Celebi for our games in the WiFi giveaway (HeartGold). I really wish we had malls like that in Jersey and overall enjoyed my time there. Sorry about the lack of paragraphs, haha. xP |

Well I am a Pokemaniac, after all. There were tons of nerds, one guy had on an entire Buisel costume and a lot of people wore Pokemon hats in. |

Sounds like it was a lot of fun! I may not be that interested in Pokemon, but I think I would have enjoyed attending one of the tours, especially the wi-fi battling part (oh, and the free stuff). |

Yeah it was, though Pokemon doesn't actually have many tours really. Or at least locally. We need to seriously hook you up with some Pokemon games to play. |

Suit yourself, but I personally think Yellow, FireRed, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, Gold, Silver, SoulSilver, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, XD: Gale of Darkness, Stadium, Colosseum, Snap, and Black and White are all awesome, as well as many others. The list goes on and on. |

I loved to play Gold. That was like my generation of pokemon. I started out playing Blue though. Then played Gold. And then Ruby and Sapphire. My favorite though is Gold. You just can't beat the supreme awesomeness of that game. |

I liked Silver version a lot, and I did play Ruby version, but Charmander. Basically, to me, the Pokemon series can be described as follows:

Did you make that picture yourself, MvS? If so, kudos to you. Though I'm not sure of how accurate that last one was, though I know you were trying to make them uglier as they went on. And the person on that last one looks like he has a red chef's hat on... But I must say Yellow is probably my favorite Pokemon game, VERY closely followed by Diamond. |
