I don't really see the point of putting Ganon into the game. Not a lot of people use him and he hasn't been in any recent Zelda games. It'd be best to replace him with some villains from Skyward Sword. |

Well the Ice Climbers haven't been seen since the NES and they're still in the game. Ganondorf was in Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time 3D. EDIT: "Also, unused files for Dixie Kong, Toon Zelda, Toon Sheik, and "Pra_Mai" (speculated to be Plusle & Minun of Pokémon fame) were found as scrapped newcomers." -Smashwiki on Brawl beta. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?!! There could be ANY toon versions of Zelda characters! And this increases the chances of Tetra or Toon Zelda becoming a fighter! YAY, FOR ILLEGAL ROM HACKING! Games often have unused files in their programming somewhere. This is an example of that. In this example files displaying textures of the characters and their name tags could be found deep within the game. Possibly a character that was going to happen but didn't. Somehow Nintendo forgot to remove the files. |

While I haven't met anyone personally who mains Ganondorf, he's a staple to the SSB series, so I see no benefit in trashing him. I don't see how his presence exclude the possibility of another villain from Zelda showing up. And he's not that bad of a character, anyway I honestly don't see much potential on the inclusion of Toon Ganondorf. At least with Toon Link/Zelda, there's pound to be a drastic change in weight characteristics due to their younger ages. Also, the idea of Toon Sheik is enthralling. |

Hm, did he have 2 swords in OoT? He did in WW, so that would be different. I still stand by saying that Tetra would be awesome |

Oh, he is so that bad of a character! He's the worst character to play as that has graced the Smash Bros. universe! ![]() I definitely agree with this. He has had such a minor impact as a character than any of the other Ganondorfs that I don't think many would even care to have him in there. I too am intrigued by such a possibility, but at the same time I wonder what she would look like in this form, because at this point it's just so unnatural to think about. At the same time, I really don't see Nintendo going to such great lengths in order to keep Sheik around in some way, especially with a pretty much made-up character. I just think she wouldn't fit well at all in the Smash Bros. universe, being a completely original form of the character that might even seem like a tease as to the possibility of a Toon Sheik appearance in a later Zelda game. It just doesn't seem right. While he is a very unpopular character, if they really worked on improving his movesets and gameplay, I could easily see more people playing as him. As MvS said, Ganon is still a staple in the SSB series as well as the Zelda series, so I just can't imagine them making a Smash Bros. game without him. I also don't see Nintendo adding several Skyward Sword villains, but I could still definitely see Ghirahim and Ganondorf together as the two main Zelda villain choices. In fact, I can't picture it any other way now that I'm really thinking about it. |

For the idea of Toon Zelda, it'd be best to just include Tetra. She practically takes place of Shiek in the "Toon" timeline of Zelda and no one that I know just plays as Zelda without transforming into Shiek. As for Ganondorf, the idea of giving him his sword from Twilight Princess excites me. Not only the sword... He also needs a major update for all of his attacks. While he does have the most powerful attacks in the game, it is impossible to lay a hit on anyone other than someone playing as Bowser, King Dedede, or any other large, slow foe. The other night I wanted to see what we were all talking about here so I fought Ganondorf on Brawl to see what you all meant. If he actually lays a hit on you it does like 30% but sadly, its near impossible, because all of his moves are either charge moves or slow punches or slides---which are easily avoided. All and all, to keep him in the series and to make him a better character without turning him into another Invincible Meta Knight I would suggest giving him his sword and please.... Make his attacks a bit faster. I'm also hoping that this becomes Link's final smash or just an option for his "Color." (You know what I mean? How you can change your color/theme of your character?) Anyway... This would be cool: ![]() I'm pretty sure my life would be complete with the edition of Fierce Deity Link and Skull Kid. Edited by Kouzetsu, 8 Feb 2012, 11:40 AM.

If I had to my way, I'd definitely have Tetra show up over Toon Sheik, though the fact that data once existed for him/her means Tetra might not be an option after all. I still insist that Tetra acting as a transformation for Toon Zelda would be really neat, though. It'd definitely help cut down on those "clone characters" we mentioned earlier...
"Ganondorf"? That's a funny way of saying "Jigglypuff". I'm just kidding, we all love you Jigglypuff.
I think he did in his "Ganon" form, but as a human his attacks were regulated to a game of magic badminton... which I guess sort of explains his lack of sword usage in the SSB series. |

While Fierce Deity Link is definitely a badass look for Link, I can't see his inclusion being very probable simply because it is a lesser known look when you consider how many casual as well as young gamers play the Smash Bros. game. I think it would be an awesome color to play as, but then again consider Skyward Sword Link. I really can't imagine SS Link with this kind of dark color and especially not a final smash. It's definitely an interesting thought, though. I absolutely agree that the Toon Zelda -> Tetra transformation has tons of potential as a very unique and interesting addition. Especially if you consider that they will probably have Skyward Sword Zelda, that leaves very little room for Toon Zelda to be anything close to a clone character. I feel myself that we have covered this topic enough. Would you all be in agreement that it is time for me to introduce another topic or do you have anything else to propose that you wanted to be covered in this topic? Please let me know. |
