- [Friday, August 17, 2012]: Whilst traveling through Konohagakure, Kananko noticed her brother doing the groceries, so she decided she would go speak to him. He didn't notice her at all, so she followed him to make sure he wasn't doing anything suspicious. Sneakily standing behind him, she grabbed his side and poked his pressure points, causing him to fall to the floor. They spoke for a while, and Kanako went off to train, when she was interrupted by a very loud Aburname named Bunbou who asked her what seemed to be 100 questions. She went along with his rambling for some time, and decided she would get some peace and quiet, so she left to go train elsewhere. Of course, she was followed by the Aburame, as well as another mysterious shinobi. The Aburame continued to hassle Kanako, and eventually her brother arrived, and he had noticed the other shady looking individual in the distance. He huddled together with Kanako and the Aburame, and warned them that they were being followed by a PIRATE!! Kanako looked at her brother like he was an idiot, but the strange character approached, laughing at what Cho had said. It was true that she had an eye patch.. but she didn't really like look a pirate at all.
The woman was interested in Kanako and Cho's lineage, asking them about the Uchiha and Sharingan, and Kanako questioned whether she was one of the many shinobi who would be willing to steal a Sharingan. The stranger told her that she had no need for a Sharingan, as she had something much more powerful. Still feeling threatened, Kanako drew her Katana, and the stranger did the same. The woman questioned why Kanoko only used one sword, and claimed that she lacked skill. Kanako soon lost her temper, and the battle commenced. They fought for some time, and Kanako thought she had the upper hand until the woman demonstrated her incredible speed and easily perceived the attacks. Kanako started getting beaten, her elbow sliced, and her ego crushed. Her Katana was thrown away from her body, and she was ready to fight the woman hand to hand, but her brother intervened. He claimed that he didn't want to see his sister get hurt, and he wouldn't stand for it, challenging the woman to a fight. Kanako sat aside whilst they fought, seeming to have lost consciousness and could hardly remember the battle. The fight ended with Cho as the victor, and the woman lost her seriousness and asked for the groups names. Kanako snarled at her, and she could tell the woman was trying to stop herself from laughing. Her mood ruined, and her self confidence completely destroyed, Kanako announced that she was leaving, and stormed away from the area. During the battle, Kanako increased her ability to one handed seal to allow her to fight more efficiently with her sword. -- APPROVED!
- [Saturday, August 18, 2012]: Kanako was taking a stroll through the crossroads when she noticed two shinobi training. They seemed to be practicing the Great Fireball technique. One of the shinobi, the self proclaimed 'super pervert', Shogamata, approached Kanoko and showed her a picture. To her disbelief, somehow the boy had obtained a picture of her changing, and questioned whether it was her. He told her that he was in her squad, and introduced himself. As he walked off, back to the other shinobi who was infact their Jonin, Uchiha Ryu, Kanako shot a reel of wires towards Shogamata and tied him up. She stole the picture from him and burnt it before his eyes, and allowed the two the resume their training. Ryu told Shogamata that they were to fight, and Shogamata came up with a bet. 'The winner treats Kanako to ramen'. Kanako immediately rejected the proposition, but was ignored. Shogamata and Ryu fought for some time, and the fight ended with Ryu letting Shogamata win. Kanako wouldn't have it, and challenged Shogamata to a fight, claiming that if she won they would forget about the earlier deal. They fought for a short period, with Kanako as the victor, but she was feeling generous, and ordered Shogamata to buy her ramen. The three of them traveled to the ramen shop, and chatted for a while. As she was about to leave, Shogamata questioned her about being an Uchiha, and Kanako told him about her brother. He bluntly asked her why she wanted to become a ninja, and that perhaps she was living in the shadow of her brother. She claimed that it was none of his business, and left.
During the fight, Kanako used her wires for the first time, and therefore has become better with them! -- APPROVED!
- [Sunday, August 19, 2012]: Kanako met with her squadmates in the crossroads, and they discussed trivial matters, such as the battle beforehand, and eating. Tenou, when speaking to Shogamata brought up a mysterious ninja known as Kamisama, a name Kanako thought was very strange. When asking about him, she was told that he was a weird, very pale snake looking guy, who Kanako had recognized as someone she had seen walking around. She questioned Shogamata about whether he thought Kamisama would know anything about the snake contract, something Kanako had been interested in for some time. Shogamata told Kanako that Kamisama was infact the holder of the snake scroll, and that she should talk to him if he was interested about it. Kanako requested that Shogamata introduce them, and they set off. They stumbled across Kamisama in a forest, and Kanako immediately asked him if she could sign the contract. He bluntly refused, but told her that if she could get him the skin of a rare white snake, he would consider it. She thanked him and left.
Whilst traveling through what appeared to be an empty forest, Kanako noticed a strangely large flock of crows circling ahead. Upon walking closer to the center of the flock, she was bombarded by the crows, and they eventually flew away. She noticed a strange object in the ground. Upon closer inspection, she realized that the object was in fact the crow contract, and upon touching it, was immediately reverse summoned into a strange land. Once arriving, she was told by a.. talking crow.. that it was now her responsibility to look after and manage the contract, since she was the first to touch it in many years, and in return, the crows would grant her usage of them and their abilities. She accepted the proposition, and was returned to the forest.
Upon arriving back in the forest, she immediately bumped into another ninja who introduced himself as Inuzuka Ryoji. They apologized to one another, and began speaking. Ryoji claimed that he was a friend of her brothers, and he had told him that she was very strong. Around that time, Cho arrived and greeted them, and then another ninja made their arrival. Aburame Bunpou came running from the distance. Ryoji and Kanako managed to avoid his tackling assult, but Cho wasn't so lucky. He was tackled to the ground, and then it all became very loud. Bunpou was his typical self, loud, annoying and intruding. Sakusen Kage stood in the distance, and awkwardly approached the group. Ryoji could see the tension between Kage and Kanako, and forced them to shake hands. He then decided that they would play capture the flag, boys vs girls. This was an obviously ploy to get Kanako and Kage to make up, and they reluctantly agreed to play along. The game ended with no clear victor, but Ryoji stated that he would take them all out for dinner. During the battle, Kanako had become weakened and passed out under a tree, only to be greeted by Cho, who placed her on top of his cat summon, Mihari.
By then, a female figure had appeared in the distance, and as the cat was leaving the area, an explosion occurred in front of it, Kanako caught in the blast radius. The next 10 or so minutes were a blur, and Kanako drifted in and out of consciousness frequently. She wore a strange clouded robe, and seemed to use explosion release and clay to attack. The battle ensued, with Cho believing that Kanako had died in the first explosion. He was distraught, and faught against the woman until his own chakra was low. Luckily, Kanako had used the situation as a test for her Crow Clone Technique, and had safely got away from the explosion. Kanako returned to witness the final part of the fight. She noticed that Cho had knocked the woman down, but a single word echoed through her ears. 'Katsu'. Before she could even think, Kanako launched her body in front of Cho, shielding him from the huge explosion, though almost destroying her entire body in the process. The woman was defeated, but so was Kanako, who lay on the floor half dead. Again, Cho was in tears and was unsure what to do, until Kanako murmured to him to take him to the hospital. Though they were injured, the group returned to Konohagakure, and Kanako was immediately sent to the hospital.
During today's scenes, Kanako signed the Crow Contract, and learned the Crow Clone Technique! -- APPROVED!
- [Monday, August 20, 2012]: Kanako lay in her bed, told that she was suffering from short term amnesia, and combat stress reaction, whilst connected to several drips and blood packs. Ryoji entered the room, and unsurprisingly, Kanako had no idea who he was. They spoke for some time, but Kanako was scared at first. It took a while for her to get used to the presence of Ryoji, but she gradually felt comfortable talking with him. She went a little lightheaded, and soon passed out. For some reason, during her sleep, she began to unwrap her bandages, revealing her disgusting wounds to Ryoji. Several medics came in and patched her back up. The next day, Kanako woke up and noticed that Ryoji had slept in the seat beside her. Kanako questioned Ryoji about her brother, who, at that time came into the room. Naturally scared, Kanako hid behind Ryoji and asked the stranger who he was. Cho claimed that he was her brother, but Kanako was still frightened, unsure about if she she believe him. Since she stood up so rapidly, her wound re-opened and the medics returned to patch her back up. After getting back into a stable condition, Ryoji and Cho came back into the room. Cho told Ryoji and Kanako that they could stop acting now, which confused Kanako. He then went on to say that it was all his fault, which annoyed Kanako greatly. She told Cho that he should stop saying everything was his fault, and take a break from worrying. She closed her eyes, and fell asleep. -- APPROVED!
- [Monday, August 20, 2012]: Kanako had finally been discharged from hospital, and decided to take a stroll though the fire country. In the distance she spotted Ryoji and Kage talking, and approached them. They spoke for a while, and Ryoji said that he would go and fetch someone. Kanako took a seat next to Kage, who said that she felt at fault for her injuries. Kanako assured her that it was her own fault for what happened, and told her not to worry. Kanako heard a shout behind her, and slowly turned to face her brother. She didn't even get a chance to speak before he grabbed her and started shaking her around, seeming to completely ignore her condition. After being let down, Kanako challenged Cho to a fight. A little surprised at first, Cho accepted telling Kanako that he was going to train with her anyway. The battle started with a flock of crows transforming into hundreds of Kunai raining down on Cho, which he deflected with his boomerang. The fight continued on, and Cho had created a huge cyclone around Kanako. Kanako, for some reason, thought that fire would get rid of the cyclone, and used the great fireball technique in an attempt to destroy the cyclone. It worked, but not before she almost killed everyone in the area. By now, they were both physically weakened, and Cho had collapsed to one knee. Kanako approached, and commanded the murder of crows above to sacrifice themselves. They flew down towards Cho, smashing into his body one after toe other, gradually destroying his armor. Cho's body was weak, but as he stood up, Kanako noticed something in his eyes. The Sharingan! He had finally activated it, but he found himself collapsing due to exhaustion, as well as Kanako. Ryoji picked up Cho, and Kage picked up Kanako. Kanako was taken back to the hospital to rest, whilst the others went on a mission. -- APPROVED!
- [Sunday, August 26, 2012]: Kanako had received a Malfunction with this termage to meet him in Hi no Kuni. She traveled for a while until she came to the location, and she noticed a large inn with the name 'Cho & Kanako's inn'. Unsure what to think at first, she entered and noticed Cho sitting on a rocking chair, filing his nails. They spoke for a while about the inn, before Kanako noticed a masked man outside the building. Cho left the building and approached the man, who he soon discovered was his old friend Ten'no. Cho and Ten'no spoke about some shit Kanako wasn't interested in, then Ten'no left. Kanako told Cho that she wished to spar again, and they prepared to battle. During the fight, a white substance formed over both of them, and a face appeared in the middle. Cho and Kanako both managed to remove the substance using different methods, and a woman appeared ahead. She claimed that she only wanted to talk, and from nowhere, swords made out of ink flew at Cho. Cho grabbed Kanako and dodged, and told Kanako to return to Konohagakure and tell someone about the attack. -- APPROVED!
- [Monday, August 27, 2012]: Can't be bothered to do long updates anymore.
Kanako met with Cho who had advanced to Chunin, and was attacked by Kage. Kage had gained possession of the Reibi, and during the battle, Kanako awakened her Sharingan at 2 tomoes. The battle ended and Kage flee'd the area. -- APPROVED!
- [Tues/Wednesday, August 28/29, 2012]: Kanako and Cho were at the inn, when they were attacked by Ibiku. Luckily, Hana was on the scene and helped them battle. Kanako used Chidori for the first time against Ibiku, but was unsuccessful and caught under a genjutsu that paralyzed her. Several other Shinobi joined the battle, and it soon get very confusing. The battle ended, and Kanako was treated for her wounds. The next day, Kanako walked to the forest, and was greeted by a merchant who owned a caravan. He told her that he would give her 3 items at a discount: A book, a.. "toy", and a Naginata, which Kanako decided would be her new primary weapon. Kanako greeted Shogamata afterwards, and gave him the "toy", which made him very uncomfortable. She sensed a very evil presence close by, and activated her Sharingan as a safety precaution. She noticed an Ame-nin in the distance, who Shogamata said was called Caim. He attacked, and Kanako managed to avoid it easily by predicting his movement with her Sharingan. Caim stood still, and Kanako unleashed a Great Fireball towards his body, that hit him, but did little to no damage. Kanao realized she would have to do something more powerful, more lethal. For the second time in two days, she used Chidori, and managed to wound Caim considerably, but he wasn't finished. He grabbed her wrist, and began to break it with his inhuman strength, until another shinobi, Hyūga Ubue tackled him. Kanako collapsed, but stood up to face Caim once more. He gave her a bow of respect, and mouthed the words 'ouch', before smiling. Kanako returned to Konohagakure, and got her wrist treated by the medics. She began training with her Naginata.
Kanako learnt, and used the Chidori technique, but it's currently unstable! -- APPROVED!
- [Wednesday, August 29, 2012]: Kanako was kidnapped by her Jonin Kamisama, and he took her to his lair far away from Konoha. When she woke up, she found herself in a medical room, and before she could react, the snake that was binding her slithered away. It moved so quickly that it caused her body to spin on the spot, and before she could regain her balance, Kamisama extended his neck and bit her on the throat. He seemed to place some sort of Enzyme inside of her blood, that he would refer to as the Cursed Seal of Heaven. Kanako immediately lost consciousness. When she woke, she was back in her own bed back in Konoha, with a throbbing pain in her neck.
Kanako was given the Cursed Seal of Heaven by Kamisama, but can only use it's first stage. -- APPROVED!
