Mia Jesbar: Hey, Lea Lea Ryze: How'd your cousin react to the credit chip stealing? Mia Jesbar: He's okay with it, I do stuff like that all the time Mia Jesbar: Besides, we sort of share the profits anyway Lea Ryze: That's good. Lea Ryze: Remind me to thank him again when I meet him at the banquet. Mia Jesbar: I will Mia Jesbar: He's really an easygoing kind of guy Lea Ryze: Those are usually some of the best types. Mia Jesbar: He just pretends to be mad Lea Ryze: LOL Lea Ryze: What did he think of the dress? Mia Jesbar: Well, he's glad I'm not going naked Mia Jesbar: He says it looks nice Mia Jesbar: of course, I don't expect many more comments from him since he's a guy and guy's aren't "supposed" to comment on dresses Mia Jesbar: rolls eyes Lea Ryze: LOL. Figures. I forced Jay to comment. You really ought to try it sometimes. Guys can be easily manipulated if you know what strings to pull. Mia Jesbar: LOL. Oh really Lea Ryze: Yup. Mia Jesbar: and what might those strings be? Lea Ryze: Well, in Jay's case, I just tell him not to bother sneaking into my room. But for the most part, general blackmail works for any guy. I have three brothers, and half of my squadron is male. I speak from experience. Mia Jesbar: You know, you have a point there Lea Ryze: I know. Mia Jesbar: so how long have you been with Jay? and how long were you friends before that? Lea Ryze: I've known Jay since he joined the squadron three years ago, during the Vong conflict. We became friends almost instantaneously. Mia Jesbar: when did you two get together? Lea Ryze: A few months ago. We were keeping it secret though. Mia Jesbar: how come? Lea Ryze: Wes. Mia Jesbar: Oh, right. Lea Ryze: Hehe. Yeah. That, and well, neither of us felt too comfortable displaying our feelings around the rest of the Aces quite yet. Mia Jesbar: Are they all pranksters? Lea Ryze: No. Only Wes, really. Although he claims Jay and I love getting into trouble. ::rolls eyes:: It was more of a matter of this being something new, that we didn't really want to share. Lea Ryze: I'm sorry if I'm rambling...I'm not usually this open about these sorts of things. Mia Jesbar: Oh, you're fine. I ramble a lot, sometimes. Mia Jesbar: And I'm asking sorta personal questions Lea Ryze: It's okay. It feels nice to talk to someone about Jay. I haven't really had much of a chance. Mia Jesbar: Lea Ryze: Mia Jesbar: I'm not very talkative right now, sorry. I'm trying to find more holos to put up for my journal. Lea Ryze: It's okay. Finding holos for the journals is fun. Any luck? Mia Jesbar: Yeah, some. There are some that I can't believe I still have! And some that I know Brodin took for blackmail purposes Lea Ryze: Hahaha. That's not so good. Mia Jesbar: I'm sure I've got some of him somewhere Lea Ryze: Ooo...that would be good! Mia Jesbar: What do you like to do in your spare time? Lea Ryze: You mean aside from fly or tease Jay? Lea Ryze: I like to read a lot. Mia Jesbar: really? I could never get into reading much Lea Ryze: Yeah. It's a fun hobby. How about you? Mia Jesbar: I like to brush up on self-defense and go practice at a blaster range Mia Jesbar: flying, of course Mia Jesbar: I like computers too Lea Ryze: Computers are fun. But that's more Jay's hobby than mine. Mia Jesbar: really? Lea Ryze: Yeah. Mia Jesbar: interesting Mia Jesbar: does he...like to use computers to get into things? Lea Ryze: Oh definately. Hehehe...it can be quite fun. XD Mia Jesbar: Oh, yes it can Lea Ryze: So, my turn to be nosey. Mia Jesbar: ok... Lea Ryze: All those questions you were asking earlier about Jay and significant others. Is there a reason? Mia Jesbar: ...no. if you're thinking there's somebody I'm thinking about, there isn't Lea Ryze: Are you sure? Mia Jesbar: sigh yeah. I don't even know if I want anybody in my life like that Lea Ryze: I see. They can be fun though. Mia Jesbar: I'm sure they can Mia Jesbar: I just don't see anything lasting. Lea Ryze: Understandable. I try not to think of that. I mean, Jay and I are both in fighter squadrons....not the safest profession in the world. Mia Jesbar: Well, yeah, there is that, of course. I meant more like...things just...don't last Mia Jesbar: whether it's because people die or not. Lea Ryze: That's a bit pessimistic. Mia Jesbar: yeah, I guess it is Mia Jesbar: shrug Mia Jesbar: I mean, not to say that other people won't think they found love, or whatever they think it is. Lea Ryze: Well, I don't know if what Jay and I have is love. I mean, I really hope it is. You know, something more than lust, and more than friendship. Mia Jesbar: yeah Mia Jesbar: you seem happy with him, and that's good Lea Ryze: He's fun. Mia Jesbar: I just don't think there's anything like that out there for me Mia Jesbar: Lea Ryze: I'm sure there is, somewhere. Mia Jesbar: I don't even know if I want there to be. it's not worth it Lea Ryze: You never know unless you try. Mia Jesbar: the pain of losing people isn't worth it Lea Ryze: Sometimes it is. Lea Ryze: Have you lost people in your life? Mia Jesbar: kriff yes Mia Jesbar: didn't you fight in the war? Lea Ryze: Yes. Lea Ryze: I lost a lot of my squadron mates. Mia Jesbar: I'm sorry Lea Ryze: It's okay. I've come to terms with it. Lea Ryze: But honestly? I don't think I'd trade knowing any of them for anything. Mia Jesbar: yeah...though it doesn't mean that I have to go out and form any new relationships. Lea Ryze: No, I never said that. Jay and I...well, it's something that just happened. Neither of us really planned it. Mia Jesbar: I guess that's how relationships happen, kind of by accident. not necessarily a bad accident Lea Ryze: Nope. Well, until your commanding officer walks in on you embracing...that, well, wasn't so fun. Mia Jesbar: chuckle Does he really try to pick the locks? Or whatever it was your journal said Lea Ryze: Haha, I don't know if he ever tried, but I wouldn't be that kriffing surprised. Mia Jesbar: I think I'd be totally embarrassed if that happened to me Lea Ryze: Trust me. I was. And then Wes wrote about it in his holojournal. Let me show you the link. Being with a guy, I mean? Lea Ryze: What do you mean by that? Mia Jesbar: I mean...you and Jay... Sorry, that was really extra personal. Mia Jesbar: Forget I asked Lea Ryze: Heh. It's okay. But yeah, that was a bit personal. Mia Jesbar: Brodin says I tend to ask a lot of personal questions Lea Ryze: Heh, Really? Mia Jesbar: yeah. Mia Jesbar: Mia Jesbar: What I was trying to ask was not so much a personal thing, I've just never...you know Lea Ryze: Really? Never? Lea Ryze: I mean, never? Mia Jesbar: nope Lea Ryze: Wow. Lea Ryze: And you're how old, again? Mia Jesbar: I'm 21. There's nothing wrong with it Lea Ryze: I guess not. Sorry...I had a bit of a wild youth. Mia Jesbar: nothing wrong with that either Mia Jesbar: I just never ventured into that area I guess. Lea Ryze: Heh, probably a good thing. My parents weren't too fond of it. Mia Jesbar: was sort of busy fighting in a war the past few years, too Mia Jesbar: chuckle Yeah, Brodin would probably kill me Lea Ryze: Hehe. Mia Jesbar: I don't want to do a one-night stand. Not anything like that. Lea Ryze: Then get yourself your very own Jay type person. I'm telling you, it has it's benefits. Mia Jesbar: chuckle Mia Jesbar: well, maybe someday...but I doubt it Mia Jesbar: Back to the whole losing people thing Lea Ryze: You're going to have to get over that. Mia Jesbar: yeah Mia Jesbar: depends on if I really want a relationship or not, I guess Lea Ryze: Just in general. It's not a good thing to live with. Mia Jesbar: shrug who knows Lea Ryze: It'll come eventually. Maybe it's cause I spent so much time around death during the war... Mia Jesbar: yeah. I think I did too. Mia Jesbar: wait, what will coem? Mia Jesbar: come Lea Ryze:* Getting over loosing people. Mia Jesbar: yeah, I guess. brodin doesn't seem as affected. but I don't know. it was my dad that died, not his. though he was really close to my dad too. Lea Ryze: Oh. I'm sorry to hear that.
