So post here when you get a new cd, because music ownz j00. XD Prodigy -- Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned What I say about it: One of the best grungy dance cds EVER. If you like dance/electronica-- hell, if you like any kind of kickass beats at all. BUY THIS CD. You can listen to samples here -- I would say... You'll Be Under My Wheels, Medusa's Path, Hot Ride & Way It Is (the one with the Thriller sample! <3) -- are the best ones to try out. XD I heart <3 this cd so much. |

I am not making this up.
|
Just went out CD buying, and now at last own the Origional Cast Recording of The Phantom of the Opera. Up till now I had only had Selections From said musical, and am quite happy, and obsessed. I am celebrating by playing the Phantom Theme very very loudly. Also got Free by Libera, which is quite spiffy, too! |

Alright, in the past week (I'm a cd whore XD): The Power Station -- The Best of The Power Station What I say about it: Found it for $8. ^_^ "Some Like It Hot" - a staple of 80's music, don't deny it. XD It's actually a very good set of tracks, all totally 80's tracks, I find myself dancing like a dumbass most of the time. Lacuna Coil -- Comalies What I say about it: "Goth Rock" is what people are labeling it as, and they get compared to Evanescense A LOT. Because they're rock and they have a female vocalist. But unlike Evanescence, Lacuna Coil's music is actually complex and a lot more in-depth (the lyrics ESPECIALLY). And they're from Italy. <3 Handsome Boy Modeling School -- White People What I say about it: A crazy, eclectic mix of rap with some rock and skits thrown in, White People is a cd that takes a few times to get used to and enjoy to the fullest extent. I adore it though, it's a great cd. And it features a bunch of different artists too. Pharrell Williams, Mike Shinoda, Chester Bennington, Rahzel, The Mars Volta, Tim Meadows, Del the Funky Homosapien... I could go on for hours. <3333333 Oakenfold -- Bunkka What I say about it: A good, solid solo move for Oakenfold from a couple years back. Every track sounds different, but each one has it's own catchy unique sound. "Starry Eyed Surprise" and "Get Em Up" are stand out tracks. |

The Athlete -- Wires single. mmmathlete. I love this band. This song is pretty cool, though not as good as Tourist. <3 |

I like deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. | |

Gorillaz -- Demon Days What I say about it: Yessssssssss --- finally! A new cd from the omg Gorillaz. <3 The first single "Feel Good Inc." was featured in an Ipod commercial (the one with the 'skates) -- and is a very catchy tune. Very catchy. It's also quite good, so you aren't complaining when it's stuck in your head. Anyways, Demon Days can be summed up in a few words/phrases --- spooky, powerful in a creepy kind of way & brilliant. <33333 Much love for it. |

30 Seconds to Mars -- A Beautiful Lie What I say about it: The boys have done it again. <3 Their sound now is a lot more mature than the first cd -- and Leto's voice, it's like he's finally comfortable with his singing and everything. He's the man. I can't pick a favorite track because they're all SO HOT. |

MC Frontalot - Nerdcore Rising OMG Frontalot finally has a REAL CD (his previous were just burnt copies of his mp3s which are free to download). For this, he re-did all the beats and MOST of the vocals on some of his classic songs, as well as creating 6 new tracks..and it's just brilliant. I don't have my copy yet cause he's taking extra time to sign copies for the VSP (his fan club, the valued suxxor program). But the samples I've heard are terrific..CELLO SOLOS! |
