What are some old school games you played when you were younger? ANd I mean old school like before the Playstation. Name Nintendo games, computer games, Atari games. Just bring it. XD I'll get into mine later, but for now all I'm going to say is: Sierra (King's Quest, Phantasmagoria, Shivers) & Cyan (Myst, Riven) rock my shit, yo. XD |

BUBBLE BOBBLE! I was an addicted child, it is sad. I still love the King's Quest series, and have a soft spot for Super Mario 2's crack dream. <3 |

Loved Bubble Bobble too! And a game by Disney(I think) with squirrels that I can't remember the name. Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, TMNT, Mortal Kombat... PC: I still have Phantasmagoria and some King's Quest, Myst, Riven but I don't consider them Old School since I'm stuck in the era before Playstation and Game cubes and all that stuff! Never really played on those consoles. PC all the way for me now. |

There was this damn game on the Nintendo, called Adventures in the Magic Kingdom or some shit. And you were this kid who had to get through the rides in the Magic Kingdom at Disney World to get 6 keys (or however many) it was... to unlock the castle so Mickey could start the Parade. Does anyone remember that game? AND HAS ANYONE BEATEN THE DAMN THING? http://www.nesplayer.com/reviews/magickingdomr.htm My sister and I could never get by the damn Pirates of the Caribean or the Haunted Mansion levels! >_< (http://www.nesplayer.com/festersquest/index.htm AND OMG MIRAX IT'S YOUR FAVORITE.) |

Mmmmm... brains...

If we're talking Old School Sierra, I was a fan of the Police Quest games. Space Quest wasn't half bad either. Ridiculously difficult, but funny. LOOM was quality stuff. A little too easy, but fun and different. Monkey Island is one of the best games ever created. However, Sam and Max Hit The Road is hands down the best game ever made, or that ever will be made. Fester's Quest eats poop. :P Heather... What game is that bottom screen shot from? Also, do you not have a copy of LOOM anymore? I have one lying around somewhere... Could probably get it to work on a newer PC if we tried... |

That screenshot is from Brataccas. It was a game on our old Atari computer - and we could never get anywhere. The controls were shit. You had to use the mouse and move it to the right to move Kyne (your dude), and to the left to get him to go left -- but the response time was crap and omg, it's impossible. We never got out of that building. O_O Wait, I think we got outside it once. Then we died. DUDE, LOOM WAS IMPOSSIBLE. But that was cause I was like... little and stupid. XD And omg, do you really think we could get it to work now? O_O Sierra also owned me with the two Laura Bow games. Those were fun. XD |
