Welcome to The Possession, the soundtrack to story Hollow Souls -- it's a fanfiction featuring Jacen and Tenel Ka, with a few supernatural elements stuck in. The two are trapped in a Chateau on Fondor, and of course, something odd is happening there -- like something odd always happens in the GFFA. But they have no idea what and of course, with the what are we waiting for attitude, they're determined to find out. NOTE: Since the story is also in it's baby stages -- this might give you a little taste of things to come. ;D Please click on the title of the soundtrack -- below the covers -- to download the .zip file containing the tracks and the cover art. [[ "You're the one who killed me." ]] __________ "The Dream" - The Birthday Massacre ... she never did what they told her to, and they'll never see her dream come true. the edge of revelation, believing all the stories told a final moment taken before this story's end unfolds ... [[ "Her name is Kanah. She's beautiful, isn't she?" ]] __________ "Stripped" - Depeche Mode ... let me see you stripped down to the bone let me hear you make decisions without your television let me hear you speaking just for me ... [[ He heard a scream. It was high-pitched, it was husky -- it was every octave imaginable. It was more than one. There were hundreds. Slamming his eyes shut, the force behind them drove Jacen to the floor of the old wardrobe he'd hidden himself in, the musty clothing drawing up dust around him. His arms covered his head as he gritted his teeth against the noise, the top slipping. It caused him to bite his lip, drawing blood. Where was that noise coming from? Stumbling out of the wardrobe, Jacen lost his breath at the sight ahead of him. ]] __________ "Subterraneans" - David Bowie ... instrumental [[ The high vaulted ceiling and the empty corridors made Jacen's heart slow with dread. Just what was this wing used for? Why had it been shut off? ]] __________ "Fallen Angels" - RA ... my eyes don't see the obvious there's way too far to go forget about the rest of me there's nothing left to know i see fallen angels when I try to go to sleep and they're always watching i see fallen angels as I'm walking on the street silently preparing what they'll do to me ... [[ "They guide me." --- "They force you, Synje. There's a difference." ]] __________ "Take Me to the Hospital" - The Faint ... now im losing blood from my veins they're slowly emptying I'm bothered by this crimson red to the color of blood to the color of a B the color of a L to the color of a O the color of O to the color of a Deep crimson red from a little bitty accident ... [[ The monster, his grin dripped with blood as he hung from the rafters of the dingy hall, the glolamps swinging back and forth. Jacen watched from his place in the darkened doorway as crimson spilled from his shoulder, staring up at the monster above. "What in the nine Corellian Hells...?" ]] __________ "Sell My Soul" - Our Lady Peace ... losing my heart ;osing my pride i’d burn our initials in the sun if it would shine i need a fresh start i was in heaven until this one fell apart out on the run out on this empty space since all of this begun i try i try ... [[ A slightly shaky hand reached out to open the refresher door and as it slid back, he felt the hard exterior he had built up against Tenel Ka -- since that morning in the courtyard -- crumble. She was lying in bed, curled up in a ball, her back towards the refresher. Jacen opened his mouth to say something, but ended up meandering over to the bed instead, sitting on the very edge of his side in complete silence. ]] __________ "Bury Your Head" - Saosin ... bury your head, and the child smashed you down and the psalms will soon recall me again fall down below i’ll sleep tonight when you're okay and I haven't said it's okay the things you said, I’m rehearsing them they went back on us until his eyes rolled back couldn't step it up i could know when to come on to it ... [[ Jacen Solo - a man of twenty-eight, a jedi, compassionate, faithful to the queen mother of hapes, some of his father's traits are shining through with his age -- the public doesn't know about his relationship with the Queen. ]] __________ "Never Be Mine" - Kate Bush ... this what I need this is where I want to be but I know that this will never be mine ... [[ Kanah watched them curiously, tilting her head in a childlike fashion. They had no idea she was there observing them, they were too wrapped up in their passion, fumbling blindly in the dark at each other's bodies, whispering and breathing heavily into each other's ears. For what seemed like an eternity Kanah stood against the wall, her eyes wide and innocent. She heard a sharp intake of breath, followed instantly by a content yet shaky exhale. The other's voice sounded soft and just as breathless. "I love you, Jacen." And with that Kanah slipped from the room, her face set in a pout, suddenly on the hunt for Synje. How dare he leave them alone. ]] __________ "Sound Check (Gravity)" - Gorillaz ... gravity on me never let me down gently ... [[ "You might only be a handmaiden, dear. But here we'll treat you like a Queen." ]] __________ "New Madonna" - Zeromancer ... in a way I can hear myself say what is it worth i say we meet on the last place on earth it's insane as always ... [[ Tenel Ka - known as "Teneve" in the manor - technically disguised as a handmaiden but only verbally, thirty-years old, feels something strange about their situation -- something familiar, is usually seen with her most trusted companion and friend Jacen Solo. ]] __________ "Decide" - The Anix ... it always wanted to turn around if I tell you will it be the same tonight's the edge of my dying state if I told you I needed you ... [[ "Why do you have that look on your face?" "What look?" "This one." Tenel Ka distorted her visage into a exaggerated mock of Jacen's scowl. "No reason," he replied, stubbornly. ]] __________ "Fiction (Dreams in Digital)" - Orgy ... guilty by design she's nothing more then fiction she dreams in digital cause it's better then nothing now that control is gone it seems unreal she's dreaming in digital she dreams in digital ... [[ Kanah Teva - a young woman, usually says nothing, has a childlike air of innocence that seems to hover over her, caught in dreamlike states, very close to Synje -- the manner in which they are close though is still undetermined. ]] __________ "The Way You Like It" - Adema ... sometimes I only remember the days when I was young nowadays no one remembers when they were young and stupid (the way you like it) come on baby help me, someone to confide in (i'll get inside you) now you're beggin' me to stay ... [[ She could feel Synje's breath in her ear. It was shaking, it was warm -- sticky. She could feel his hands, one on her stomach, one on her back; both had dull nails which dug into her skin through the cloth of the dress she wore. Her voice came out in a hoarse whisper, "Synje?" He pulled back, his hair matted to his forehead with sweat, his eyes shining through the thin white cloth he had over them. "...who?!" ]] __________ "Night + Day" - U2 ... night and day you are the one only you beneath the moon and under the sun whether near to me or far it's no matter, baby, where you are i think of you night and day ... [[ He stopped and turned again, a lone figure at the end of the hall, chin held high, hands back on his hips. He didn't even have to say anything, his posture said enough. With a sigh, she sauntered down, preparing to pass him without a word. But as she went to slip past his stone figure, still in the defiant posture, an arm lashed out and a hand wrapped around her upper shoulder, pulling her towards him with more force than she had ever felt him use. ]] __________ "Allegría [A Man Called Adam mix]" - Cirque du Soleil ... there is a love in me raging, allegría ... [[ Synje Raoull - a young man of seventeen, lost his sight at around five, enjoys painting, lives alone in the Raoull Manor. tragic by nature, he enjoys company but rarely receives any -- there's something about him... ]] __________ "Follow My Ruin" - Royksopp (Bonus Track, oh snap! It's cause Gadell is totally jive. <3) ... so much going on and I wish to hold on so much going on and I cannot let go past the trees that hide our love hurry now its time to go make this moment matter more show me like you did before ... [[ Gadell's eyes widened in shock as he fingered the comlink out of his pocket, bringing it to his lips. The fingerless gloves he wore didn't quite help from the biting cold of the ship he reclined in, but they had to do. He let them go for a few moments longer before pressing down the switch, "KIDS. PLEASE." He heard them both stop, until Tenel Ka trying to sneak in a last jab. "SHUT IT." He heard Jacen growl in response. "Play nice with each other or I'll be forced to leave you both on Fondor to starve. Mmmkay? NICE. Cordial, kiss and make up or something before I have to shove my boot so far up your collective --" Gadell stopped, staring at the comlink. The transmission had been cut. ]] __________ YAY. Alright. Yeah. Time to go find some food. O_o
