So, what has everyone read: I've read (in order): Firestarter The Shining (My favorite) Pet Sematary IT 'Salem's Lot The Stand Bag of Bones Dreamcatcher Skeleton Crew Desperation The Regulators The Colorado Kid Lisey's Story I loved Firestarter, The Shining, IT, Bag of Bones, Skeleton Crew, The Colorado Kid, and Lisey's Story. I was disappointed with The Stand, Desperation, and the Regulators, and Pet Sematary, but they were okay. I hated Dreamcatcher. |

The Shining is AMAZING. But my favorite will still always be The Long Walk -- even though it's "Richard Bachman"~ ;D |

How come there's no noghri with the Force™?!

Disappointed with The Stand? That's my all-time favorite by him. The Shining is also up there, as well as "The Body", which gave us the movie Stand By Me. Fun stuff. |

Mmmmm... brains...

Only read three: The Stand IT The Shining Enjoyed all three. The Stand could stand to have the last 200 pages trimmed. IT gets a little silly at the end. The Shining is very solid all the way through. |

I always stayed away from The Dark Tower series because I hate reading things that are unfinished. Maybe now I will check them out at some point... |

I don't like it when King gets too heavily into religion. Has anyone seen the previous for the 1408 movie? Looks interesting. |

Okay, I'm reading Lisey's Story right now and it's absolutely amazing. O_O Why didn't I pick this book up when it came out? The best part is that I've started saying smucking in place of the big bad f word (:o!) and BOOL has become a part of my everyday vocabulary. Also, bad-gunky. SO GOOD. <3 |

YAY! Another King fan! So I'm gonna read Desperation/The Regulators soon, since I haven't yet. Good choice? I hope? |

Very good choice. I would save Desperation for last since it's the better of the two. Both are good, but Desperation is better. Which is silly, since I usually like Richard Bachman better. ; ) |

Then I will definitely take your advice when I get to those two! Thank you! And in other news, I just finished the short story The Road Virus Heads North and I'm seriously creeped out. Really bad. D: [ Spoilers D: ] |

My favourites are Carrie and Misery. I just finished Misery today, actually. Both books scared the hell out of me. Next I'm reading Bag of Bones. |
