hail the Scapes Contortium! Posts: 355 Group: Members Member #370 Joined: June 26, 2007	So I think I'd be good at making filk songs. To explain this song---well, it's difficult. It's about holding a monopoly on a certain aspect of canon in fanfiction, even if the fanfiction in question does not obey canon and results in a "vong-replication droid" who does things wildly OOC. I'm not skilled enough with piano to sing and accompany myself... Bjork Umi was in Star By Star Vong-Replication Droid Vong-replication droid Hated by the folks, coming from the void For associations with abominations Isn't that a joy? That is why I want a Vong-replication droid Made of synthflesh I'm so girlish That I lock him in the closet With another warrior named Bjork; Who's gouging his own eyes out With a fork Many friends think he's delightful Finding my invention useful For gunning down superiors on the bridge For hating biodiesel just a smidge Vong-replication droid All the other real ones that he annoys With his floral romance, tendency to slow-dance Writing home to mum, "Endor's lots of fun," "coming from your son" "Really" "coming from your son" "Mum" "coming from your son" Not from a Vong-replication droid Fanboys are smitten, with what I have written 'bout novels they hate for the credits they're spending Can you extract from my take a suspicion? I'm really in love with the plot that you're skimming And can you detect my sarcasm, and get it; I'd gladly switch sides for a billion credits Departing the last time I'm leaving the fandom To be in a story with 500 scarheads With notebooks and typewriters Nymphomanic in nature... I'm leaving I'm leaving Be with them, be with them My confidentes, confidentes I want to I want you I want them I want a Vong-replication droid... And if I had the books as sources Buying all RP resources I would never ever change my mind To take along this burly friend of mine Vong-replication droid He may not be real culturally correct But I know it's facts, my readers won't suspect Isn't that the point, that is why I write a Vong-replication droid With his Yuuzhan ex, imaginary sects In my private fanon, glazing over canon Isn't that the point? That is why I write a Vong-replication droid
