How long have you been doing it? and are there ways i can hear what you do? i play drums. ive been doing it for like a year or so but ive been air drumming since i was in middle school so i got lessons before my actual set. i do blast beats (or try to) and play really fast with my friend Farhan. We have a two person group called curry in a hurry. i want to start a death metal band called Black Jihad with all mid-east band members and all our lyrics are in our respective mid-east languages. they will be about killing infidels, and waging holy wars IT'LL HAPPEN ONE DAY JUST YOU WAIT also anybody know any decent local places that sell music gear/stuff? im sick of guitar center and their shitty people

But the only instrument I can kind of play is the recorder -- and I probably can't even do that anymore cause I learned that in elementary school. XD

I do not practice as diligently as I should, but considering I also juggle mathematics and neopets... My current songs of focus are the theme from the "unfinished" Symphony and Fur Elise. I can improvise Amanda Palmer's "Astronaut", but that unfortunately does not apply to the cello parts in the new studio version

I also make music on the computaar. :3 The only non-midi I've got on the intarwebs is a late entry I did for a remix contest. I'm on a Wii and cannot post a link but it's at www.sgxmusic.com in the SGXRMX2 page. Name's Markypoops. I think the song is called Me Semper Meneas (Ab Imo Pectore Mix) or something. OH I've got stuff at www.looperman.com, too. Username's still Markypoops. I need to make new stuff. D: I think all I have there is That One Song At The End Of A Romantic Comedy Where Everyone Gets Married and a remix I did of the old Japanese NES game Sweet Home's battle theme.

But I took piano lessons for about 3 years and quit after 6th grade because I hated it, and no longer had as much time for it. And now I remember absolutely nothing, haha. I also played snare from the second half of 5th grade all the way through high school. But in high school I branched out to other perc. instruments as well, mostly playing the more auxiliary ones, like suspended cymbal. I would like to get back into drums in the future, whenever I can afford a set or have room for one. As for local places to buy music gear, I wouldn't know... Just what is local to me, haha.

And while I don't consider myself a hardcore band geek, for some un-Godly reason, I'm doing college marching band right now and it's kinda owning all my free time. So if I'm even slower at roleplaying than normal, that's why. Wow, I'm even dorkier than I thought.

I was in marching band also! Played flute for like eight years. I wasn't exactly a band geek, but I was close. I really enjoyed marching band. I have a guitar and for a while I could play it decently, but I haven't picked it up in at least a year.

Youngling Posts: 11 Group: Members Member #1,407 Joined: October 4, 2008	I used to play the flute in middle and a little of high school, but I have long since dropped the hobby. I kind of want to pick it up, but I find I don't have the time. I also used to play the piano when I was younger, which was something my parents wanted me to do. I enjoyed it though, but dropped it when I got into middle school, when I picked up the flute. I guess me and music weren't meant to be since I dropped that too. Unless it is playing fake instruments on Rock Band.
