Well I was looking around and couldn't find any topics on Sci -Fi books so I guess I'll start one.
Sci-fi counts with anything that is sciency and has nothing to do with magic except for like a book about opening a transdimensional portal device freeing creatures from the 8th dimension.Well that's it.
Good,Bad it doesn't matter I have the gun

What about something like Neuromancer by William Gibson? Would that count? I always counted that, but I wasn't sure what everyone else thought.

Neuromancer is a good old sci fi standby, that totally counts.

I didn't actually finish it the first time I tried to read it (my attention span is awful), but it's still on my bookshelf and I intend to read it this semester at some point. I've read Pattern Recognition, though, also by Gibson, and loved that. Someone else told me it was more relevant to present day technology, which is definitely true.
I like deadlines.

I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.
