My Level WIP Topic for Mushroom Kingdom Fusion.

Completed Levels
World 1-F4 (Castle in the Sky)

Description: It's the fourth fortress encountered at the start of your epic quest! You'll need tp climb your way through using the wired fences, then get past the Block Train. After so, you'll reach a hallway, but, what's waiting for you outside?

World 2-20 (The Highlands)

Description: Take an adventure out to the wilderness of the Scottish Highlands! Traverse the wide plains, avoiding the wild life and grenade tanks along the way, Tessie will be there to help, as well.

World 7-S1 (Tainted Toadstool Zone)

So I'm guessing the G.U.N Truck will be the one from that level, albeit sidescrolling?

Seems like a fancy idea UG, look forward to seeing it.

I do realize that the stage is real, but I didn't suggest it because I thought we were against using songs with lyrics.

If there's something against using songs with lyrics in them, I can always use the instrumental version of the song, no big loss there.

Dante: I intend to have the level just as it was in SA2, a short, fast, running level to get to the end. Yes, the G.U.N. truck will appear, but I doubt I will make the level auto-scrolling.

Update for my WIP Topic. World 7-S1 (Tainted Toadstool Zone) is finally done, for real.

The canyon motif was scrapped for a more Fusion aspect of Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog, in the form of a desolate Mushroom Hill. The planned bosses were scrapped. Does every level really need one? Just think that for a second.

A very nice new level, UG! I like it. This is one of the few levels that I've seen (this and the Moon Base level) for MKF that have been in development that I've been eagerly awaiting to play.

A question though -- are the floating mushroom spores attackable with ranged weapons? It looks like they can be struck in general (Tails jumping at them seem to make them go away), but I was wondering if ranged weapons (Roll's buster, Arthur's spear, etc) also had an effect.

You know there are more than jsut one coder to code this boss. ;) I think someone will code this boss for you if you ask him.

I thought that every level in World 7 was going to have a boss, since every level in the original Sonic games ended with a boss fight against Robotnik. I remember the devs saying that only World 3 and World 7 would have bosses in every single level back when everyone kept putting bosses at the end of their level suggestions.

I thought that was still the case...

I thought that every level in World 7 was going to have a boss, since every level in the original Sonic games ended with a boss fight against Robotnik. I remember the devs saying that only World 3 and World 7 would have bosses in every single level back when everyone kept putting bosses at the end of their level suggestions.

I thought that was still the case...
That idea was cut at one point, but since W7 has lost a lot of Sonic levels it's probably viable once again.
