We finally got the 0.41 patch out. This patch addresses many of the bugs and issues of 0.4. Its still a buggy beta game, but its a vast improvement over 0.4.

HOW TO INSTALL

STEP 1: Download and install MKF 0.4 first, here is the link to download it. If you already have it, skip this step.

STEP 2: Dump the content of this zip into you MKF 0.4 folder. If you did it right you should be told a number of files are being overwritten.

IF YOU HAVE CUSTOM SKINS FOR MARIO, LUIGI, OR LINK BACK THEM UP! THIS PATCH OVERWRITES THOSE SKIN SLOTS!

READ THE 0.4 RELEASE FAQ BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS! QUESTIONS ALREADY ADDRESSED IN THE FAQ WILL BE IGNORED/DELETED.

WHAT'S BEEN ADDED/CHANGED:

- A whole lot of bug fixes and tweaks by Lars and I. The game's still a buggy beta, but a good majority of the bugs reported publicly and privately have been addressed.

- Includes all the missing music and bgs from the 0.4 release

- Mario and Luigi now use their remastered sprite art.

- The game's ini now has a setting for starting MKF in full screen. Those wanting to play MKF in a Arcade style cabinet for PCs rejoice.

- The default ini custom controls no longer clash with the cheat keys.

- The FMOD glitch a small number of users suffered from (the one where the music starts to glitch up after prolonged play) has been fixed, at least reported from Del, one of the sufferers.

- The beginning of the character tweaks planned for the future have been done. Proto Man now has 2 RM weapon slots. There are several other players in need of tweaking (Sonic, Arthur, Simon, etc), but those changes will require more extensive or experimental changes and will have to wait until after the release.
