It was decided to combine Zebes Expedition and Kraid's Lair into one big level, appropriately titled "Zebes". Obreck and Mew are going to be the ones working on it, so you should contact either of them if you want to offer assistance. |

Is Zebes planned to be like the Metroid playstyle? Exploration based instead of a straightforward stage, I mean. Weird Banana's had said something about doing that for the later Metroid stages, but I guess he's not working on it anymore. Kind of weird to see a Sonic world without a Casino/Carnival level. I guess that was scrapped. |

I don't think a suggestion with explained reasons is really that much of a fuss. You are talking with him like he thinks, he has unique powers to mess up your work to his taste, and he's eager to do. He didn't change the level list, he only told his idea. It seems to me that you guys got up some paranoia during the development, I don't blame you for this cause there has to be set rules, but it seems you just have a bit too much of this, relax. Lars was right. Blood, the level list is not yet complete, the devs are still working on it. So expect to find other changes. It may be that you focus on that level. |

I think the level list is due for an update with regards to claimed levels. I have an idea for a room of Capital of Science, and I'd like to know who, if anyone, is working on it. |

I am working on it, and got a bit of stuff done but I absolutely need a tile set here to do anything else. Got a good layout in my head for things, but I'm willing to accept suggestions. If anyone can point me towards a proper tile set (I'm willing to use a 8-bit Knightman's stage tiles for now just to see how it'll all look with some tiles in place) I can definately do this. |

Created Levels 3-3:Maintence Tower (MKF,cocreated with Auralancer) 1-13:Koopa Airbay (SMF,cocreated with Judgespear) 1-F2:Final Outpost (SMF,cocreated with Judgespear) In Progress Capital of Science (got a level plan fully in mind for this one!) | |

Here are the NES ones. http://vgmaps.com/Atlas/NES/MegaManVI-KnightMan.png The only thing that can be done with these is to have them picked out and arranged into a tileset. If you are still combining this stage with Shademan here are his tiles too. http://vgmaps.com/Atlas/SuperNES/MegaManVII-ShadeMan.png I would suggest to put both into one tileset. |
I'll just have to...

Well, what I was thinking of was having that part in Shade Man's stage where you're riding an elevator fighting Zombeigs; but instead of those, Blade Man will be attacking you, jumping from wall to wall flinging his Triple Blade at you for the duration of the ride. |

I was thinking, the RPG world have some open spots, why not have a level based on Klonoa on one of them. I was thinking perhaps the Moonlight Museum from the Wonderswan game. In the original game, the Museum consisted of several artwork worlds, among others: A green field like world with some caves to explore... A world with massive trees that you have to venture inside... A temple in the sky like world, simhilair to some of Olympus like enviroment... A Dungeon like world with dank places... And finally the museum itself with a crescent moon, dipped into the lake outside (SERIOUSLY?!) has the most puzzle like enviroments... Like the original game, there would be no boss whatsoever, only the common enemies like Moos and the likes. Perhaps the level could be settup to start in the main museum, like a lobby, but to proceed through the locked door, one has to go through the different paintings of the different worlds, trying to find the key in each painting so you can finally proceed to the inner museum and find the exit. Like the original game, the level would focus on tricky puzzle solving. As for the music, Klonoa 2 (PS2) had a tribute to Moonlight Museum in the level, Maze of Memories, which was not only a museum, it used music from Moonlight Museum and simhilair design with the abstract background. Perhaps that theme could be used? So far, I have ripped the tileset from the main museum area, but I will have to colour it and rip the rest of the areas. ![]() Is this a good idea devs?

No more suggestions. Contributions might have a chance, but no, no more level suggestions, none of the devs will do them since we already have a ton of work to do and adding more would be really silly. Right now we need work not ideas. |

Sorry if there's a better place to ask this, but what's the Fusion team's opinion on stages recreating levels from other games? The recent level "Muda Madness" is almost an exact copy of world 2 from Super Mario land, but most of the stages falling under this catergory are getting revamped, does it have something to do with difficulty progression? |

I believe the recreation of existing levels is only allowed in World 1. Beyond that we've been working to undo any levels that directly copy the layout of the original. I think the only level outside of W1 that copies the layout of the original level is Wart's Nightmare, but that one's drastically different from the original in several other, more obvious ways. |

Ceres Station is supposed to be a level based on the Metroid Fusion game, so it should have at least a couple new enemies from either Fusion or Metroid 2 (the story says it was an artificial remake of SR388's atmosphere). Here's a sprite sheet of custom made Metroid 2 enemies http://www.spriters-resource.com/custom_edited/metroid/sheet/17038 though I don't know what do most of those do; but it should have this one at least lol, it's perhaps the most recognizable one, all it does is hop around trying to bite you, maybe it can be based on another enemy like that Yellow Bunny-like enemy Lars used in a part in Crossroads, later reused in Fillmore Weald Surprisingly it's the only ripped enemy from M. Fusion TSR has... heh, maybe there are more on other sites. I think you can reuse Zebes' side hoppers too (both land and ceiling ones), M. Fusion had them too for some reason. It should also reuse the Space Pirates and Metroids themselves. I don't think it should have anything related to the X parasites, those were just blobs that came out of enemies and don't have anything useful for MKF's gameplay itself.. As for tilesets, I ripped a small part for my Bomberman level, but it's just useful for a few rooms or something, dunno we'd need to get more. Also, should use the Zebes source you already have so you can use those enemies and objects. Maybe it could reuse more enemies from Zebes, we could just say they're being studied in there too or whatever. |
