Already have... Besides, the rooms I sent to Mew were unfinished anyway, and he told me to leave the second room for NPCs. I'm currently going through Wario: Master of Disguise to orient myself with the tilesets so I know I don't screw things up... |

Even with that room devoted to NPCs, you left yourself with a painfully simple and boring layout with no real obstacles or challenge to them, or anything interesting to look at. And if they are old, why don't you post something NEW so we can see if you are making any progress. |

Genisi, I'll try and add secret areas to the second room, such as coin/rupee stashes and hidden 1ups. For now, this next screenshot is just a minor edit of the first room, after going through this area in Wario: Master of Disguise. ![]() I've got many stuff on my plate at the moment, but I'll try to do some editing on the second room tonight. |

I do believe you are missing the point. What good is a level that has secrets when there is no actual interesting platforming or even any enemies? Or obstacles? Or any platforming that isn't some boringly straightforward, unfitting autoscrolling section? I mean, if you really want to show something off, you're gonna want to show off something with substance, not some minor graphical change. |

Is that first room just 1 screen to show you enter the cruise? Also yeah when you edit your design of the insides, post some screenshots, the best advice I can give you is try to put obstacles, clever enemy placing and use the platforms around the design itself to make puzzles to get power ups or get into paths or something. Take a look as Frozen Plateau's first room, the top left corner platform puzzle to get a power up for example, or Sahara Scramble's, or Highlands', etc., you can do your own. Fill all the available room you get with interesting stuff and platforming puzzles, the worst thing you can do are just rectangle rooms with stairs and random enemies around and lame simple platforming, be clever. |

One thing that might help the ship interior not look so wierd is to not have it fill the whole screen. A good example I think would be the SS Anne in Pokemon Red/Blue. |

I could use a less confusing tileset, I must confess... Aura, is it possible to rip the SS Anne tilesets, or is it impossible due to the overhead view? |

Nah those aren't really usable. I just meant having the rooms be smaller than the screen and using a black background around it. I'll see if I can cook up an example later tonight. |
