Currently, I am an FPS Junkie who is currently looking to expand to different genres for his library. The genre that currently comes to mind at this point is the Fighting Games. However, I am a complete noob when it comes to these, since I can't remember combos well or anything of the matter (yes I am one of those people who randomly press buttons to hopefully get something). So I would like to have suggestions for fighting games or characters that are noob friendly (preferably ones with not a library of combos to memorize). |

The classic Street Fighter games don't really use many combos and all the moves are very easy to learn, also some old Neo-Geo games like the Fatal Fury series, Art of Fighting, etc. I also recommend trying the King of Fighters series, they're really fun and not very hard, they have combos but they're not really needed to win. And stay away from Mortal Kombat and most 3D fighting games like Tekken or Dead or Alive.. those have a ton of hard to learn moves and complicated combos everywhere.. |

Try Blazblue, yes it has combos and stuff like that but its fun to play even if you don't use them(I don't). |

if you have a Wii, get Tatsunoko vs Capcom. It's combo system is very basic {A to B to C, then a special, if you feel fancy a super}. It's also beyond fun and has decent online and on a different note, the old school Mortal kombat {1-3} aren't combo heavy, but you can invent them easily. Edited by Bethazer, Aug 16 2010, 07:30 PM.
