Level Idea: Stone Tower

Okay, forgive me if I'm doing this wrong, being new, I wouldn't know how to do this, and also forgive length (or lack thereof,) my keyboard's busted so I gotta use OSK.

Anyways, my idea is the Stone Tower Temple from Majora's Mask. There are some differences, mostly to make the dungeon more friendly to the many characters, which will be explained.

So, first off, my idea is a primarily vertical stage. Anyone who's been through the tower knows the dungeon proper is two stories, hardly towering, and I'm going for a full-size, Tower of Babel level of size with this.

Due to the Stone Tower's primary puzzle being item-oriented, and MKF using a power-up system, it's necessary that I propose the following: A button, not a chest, on defeating Garo Master (or analog, and likewise whenever I underline a name) would cause a mounted crossbow (for example) to appear that could be fired at the switches to flip the level.

MKF Stone Tower would include the intro climb, but the Hookshot part would be replaced with elevators.

Since MKF doesn't feature masks (to say nothing of the Elegy,) the Elegy puzzles would be replaced with power-up operated switches, for example, Mario can't trigger one switch unless he throws a fireball at it, while another switch demands Hammer Mario's weight. These would follow necessary analogs for each character, of course. Alternatively, several weights would operate these switches in the same way as in MM.

Mask puzzles would also use power-ups or weapons. I would imagine some manner of spawn-point in the room for power-ups, but whatever makes sense to the programmer. I can't program.

Off-hand, that's all I can think of. I have no map, but will design one if necessary. For bosses, I suggest the originals, made possible for MKF, so that would mean Garo Master, Gomess, and Twinmold, but that's my suggestion, and not necessarily required. Any thoughts, suggestions, or advice?

Spriter, level designer, coder, etc.

Yeah... no more ideas for levels are being considered for now. We still have like 100 more levels to make or finish and we're a bit short on active developers ;(

Dragoon rule #1: Don't jump indoors.

We actually had this level for W5. I believe it was one of the stages lost from the list when the old forums died. Chances are it won't be returning to the list, we've cut a ton of great ideas(and some bad ones too). It's necessary for the game's survival.

Ah, my apologies, then. I can at least hope out of my own optimism that, should the MKF dev team begin taking suggestions at any point in the future, this is not forgotten, and in the meantime I thank them for the enjoyable experience I've gotten from MKF thus far.

Sorry, man. I had such an idea, and wanted to use it, but couldn't.

You see, in an effort to get MKF done, we had to scrap quite a bit of levels and ideas. Plus, we're not taking any new stages.
