15th of Spring 605
Walking through the familiar streets of a village on the border of the greatwoods Sadeh had taken the habit to come back here when he had time ever since the he learned an old friend of his had settled down in this village and opened up a pub. After a few more minutes of walking he reached said pub, called the "Eagle's Nest" he remembered how he first found it amusing how his friend based the name on his old nickname back when they both worked as guards, putting those thoughts aside he entered the establishment and went to sit at the counter, the barkeeper speaking up when he noticed him "Oy, Sadeh, its been a while, how are you?" to that question Sadeh shrugged "Fine, I guess. Managed to get some decent jobs done, but my last client was constantly trying to make me do more for less. Nearly left the little money grubber when he got himself caught by monsters." he said still a bit annoyed at that crazy chemist, he'd rather have not met, to which the barkeeper raised an eyebrow "Wow, you really get the weird types, huh? So, can I get you something or you just wanted to pick up a talk with an old friend?" at this Sadeh chuckled "Just give me the usual." nodding the barkeeper poured a glass of alcoholic beverage and passed it to Sadeh who gave him a simple "thanks" as well as the payment for the drink.

As he started drinking Sadeh returned the barkeeper's earlier question "What about you, how are things going?" unexpectedly the barkeeper sighed looking troubled "Not that good to be honest, recently there's been a group of bandits that showed up in the area, they've been attacking folks in the woods or on the road and if that wasn't bad enough for business some of them like to show up here and cause trouble. And the worst of it all is the fact most of 'em are monsters." hearing this surprised Sadeh, he had noticed that there weren't as many customers in the pub today but he certainly didn't expect things to be this bad...

(Well, its been a long time time since I posted an intro so I hope it isn't too weird. Or bad. ^^;;)

From the back corner of the pub sat a well armored man with his helmet off but his face hidden by the shadows of the corner. He could not but to over hear the conversation between the to gentlemen at the bar and stood slowly from his spot in the corner reaching for to the edge of helm that was sitting on the edge of the table. He picked the helm up by the edge of the helm top that expanded out like a disk on the top and had various little metal trinkets dangling from it. He placed the helm on his head and slowly walked forward toward the men at the bar picking up his glaive on the way placing it on his back under the shield and sword he carried on his back. The male had a tattered sash around his shouters and neck that he pulled up to hide up under the slit in his helm. He had a belt on made from five symbols and a belt that held up a cloth that had tassels to them. The symbols indicated several of his old friends that had died and he kept them on him to remember them. As he strolled up to the bar and slowly came up beside the to gentlemen and spoke in a emotionless tone. "Bandits you say? I will help you with these bandits if you have anyone who is going to go take out the bandits. I have quite a bit of experience fighting bandits." He wondered if either one of them knew anything about the people we was looking for.

When the other man approached and said that he had experience fighting bandits the barkeeper gave him a look "Aye, if experience was the only thing needed I'd have taken up my crossbow and shot a few bolts their way, but as far as I know their hideout is somewhere in the woods, and running around in there at this time of the year ain't the brightest idea." on his side Sadeh nodded before speaking up "True, but I think I know a way to get to their hideout without having to comb the entire woods, you said that some of them come to your pub sometimes, right?" hearing this the barkeeper looked to Sadeh with a surprised look "Why didn't I think of that? Of course, you're planning on getting the info straight out of them, right? Because I doubt either of you could follow them unnoticed with all that heavy armor you're wearing." Sadeh simply nodded before turning to the other man "Well, are you okay with this plan and more importantly can we count on you helping us? And by the way I'm Sadeh." he told the other armored man, taking the moment to introduce himself at the same time.

He nodded gently before reaching his armored hand out to the man. "I am Sebastian. It is a pleasure to meet you." He waited for the man to shake his hand or for him to not shake his hand and then he sat down beside the man and sighed slightly straightening his back and letting his body pop and crack as he stretched his muscles and allow him to release tension from his back. He looked toward the bar keeper. "Do you know when the bandits usually come in or do they just come in randomly?" He said looking over his shoulder toward the door trying to keep it subtle without it being to blatantly obvious.

Sadeh took Sebastian's hand and shook it "Nice to meet you." that done he turned to his friend the barkeeper to hear his answer to Sebastian's question "Hm, they don't come by that often but when they do its... around this time of the day actually." just as he said that someone entered the pub, the barkeeper would actually let out a sigh of relief when it was just a frail looking young man. However the relief was short lived as only a moment later two others would enter the place, one of them being a rather short human woman and the other was an ogre, seeing those two made the barkeeper flinch "Speak of the devils, those are the ones I told you about." he said in a low voice, meanwhile the ogre stepped forward and placed a hand on the young man's shoulder before speaking "Get out of the way pipsqueak." she said as she violently shoved him aside and into a nearby table, showing no more interest in the young man she continued to walk, followed by her cohort only to stop when she noticed Sadeh and Sebastian, alternating her gaze between the two of them and the barkeeper "Oh, don't tell me you actually went and hired mercenaries, did you?" she said as she cracked her knuckles the woman with her then added a comment of her own "Obviously he didn't have enough after his first beating, why don't we fix that right now?" evidently these two were ready for a fight which promped Sadeh get off his seat before speaking in a low voice to Sebastian "Remember, we need to keep them alive if we're to get any info out of them." that said he looked at their two opponents to see what they would do.

He noticed them entering the bar and saw the frail young man be pushed over onto the table and it almost made him jump at them but he refrained himself from doing something that would get others hurt till he could get help form the one sitting beside him."My friend. Do not worry about them living...." He mumbled in a low manner as he rotate quickly on the bar stool taking the shield off his back and pulled his glaive from his back with his right hand and with his left pulling off the shield and in a quick motion twisted around sending the steel circular shield flying like a frisbee at the face of the ogre while leaning forward on the bar stool landing with a thud on his feet before dashing hard and fast toward the female with the ogre placing the staff part was placed horizontally at stomach left of the female as he bull rushed the female aiming to pin her against the wall beside the doors and then head but her in the face with the top of his helmet if he could pin her against the wall beside the door and keep the ogre off of him with the little disk throw.

When Sebastian threw his shield the ogre barely had the time to react and raised her arms to protect her face from the circular projectile, the shield colliding with one of arms painfully, while in the long run this would only serve to anger the ogre it also kept her distracted long enough for the man to charge at her friend, seeing him charge right at her she quickly lost her confidence and decided to make use her small size to crouch and throw herself underneath a nearby table while keeping one of her legs outstretched in an attempt to trip the man. Meanwhile the ogre would turn around hoping to attack him from behind as he passed her only to get whacked behind the head by a bar stool held by Sadeh, the hit leaving her dizzy but still conscious she'd turn to her more recent aggressor and try to hit him with hook from her left, punch which was narrowly dodged by the man but caused him to back up and bump into the counter.

He noticed her vanish from his forward field of view and saw her crouch he looked down seeing the foot being stretched out he but a moment to raise his foot up and lucky for him it was his left leg. He rose his left leg up bringing him slightly off balance and then brought his full plated leg down onto the side of the knee of the girl that had been his original target aiming to break her knee and knee cap in a most painful way so she would not be able to run away. He brought his full weight onto her leg if his step was met by her leg and he would step over to turn on his right leg bringing the staff end at the back of the ogres head aiming to make a precise strike to the base of her skull aiming to knock her unconscious with a might strike.

Seeing her attempt to trip the man wasn't going to work the woman tried to retract her leg before the man stepped on her knee, she was partly successful in that the man's foot didn't crush her knee like intended, instead it crushed her foot, her boot not doing much to protect it, causing the woman to scream in pain before she was able to get her foot free from under the man's, then, when he turned and aimed the blunt end of his weapon at the ogre's skull he would be stisfied to see his attack being completely successful, the ogre having been too focused on Sadeh to notice the attack coming from behind her, collapsing on the floor, unconscious but still breathing. Having seen her friend fall down from her spot under the table the other woman gulped and crawled out from under the table, on the opposite side from Sebastian and flipped it over to use as a temporary barrier while she headed for the door only to freeze when she heard the barkeeper's voice, the man, who was nowhere to be seen when the fight started, was now standing behind his counter with his crossbow aimed at the fleeing woman "That's far enough, another step and you get a bolt in the back." in response to this the woman turned around to look at the barkeeper "Ack! P-please don't shoot I surrender." she said in a panicked voice.

A few minutes later the two bandits were both bound, although the barkeeper insisted that they used chains instead of ropes for the ogre, who luckily had yet to awake, her friend however was still rather panicked and kept asking what they were going to do to her, to which Sadeh replied "We won't doing anything to you, if you bring us to your friends' hideout that is." hearing this the woman went quiet and gulped, obviously she was scare of what the two men could do to her but also didn't want to betray the rest of her group, however her cowardice finally got the better of her as she exclaimed "Okay, okay, I'll lead you to the hideout, just don't hurt me!" practically crying as she spoke. Her answer being satisfying Sadeh nodded and turned to the barkeeper "Do you have a place to keep her green friend in?" to which the barkeepr replied "Aye, I have an empty storage room I can put her in." that settled he turned to Sebastian and asked him "Well, do you have anything you'd like to ask her before we have her show us where their hideout is?"

After his strike to the back of the ogres head connected with a resounding crack he pivoted on his foot now facing the bar his body low and relaxed. - After going and retrieving his circular shield from where it landed after throwing it at the ogres face with a hard throw he came over to the girls who were now tied up like hostages. He stopped as he pulled a chair and sat in the chair with his chest to the back of the chair looking at the interrogation proceed till her co-operation was given. He nodded slightly until he was asked the question. He leaned back slightly standing up from his chair walking over to her and crouched down in front of the girl staring at her through the slit in his helmet for a few seconds before crouching down in front of her and staring at her. "Yeah. I have two questions for her. How many people are at the bandit camp?" He waited for her answer then asked her another question. "On a scale from 1 to 10. How much fun are we going to have when we get up to your bandit camp? Mind you that we are inexperienced combatants and have must done enough fighting to get us from point A to point B. Don't get me wrong and only speaking for myself only, I only wear this armor because it makes me look scary...Don't you agree?" He stood up from his stooped crouched position and then looked at the bar keep then at Sadeh. "So? What's the plan when we find the camp? Mass Murder on a Forest Wide Scale? Or are we going to sit down with the bandits and talk things diplomaticly over with tea and crumpets?" He said in a joking manner just wondering what kind of reaction he would get out of the girl.
