Out of Dragon Princess' tower and back to the crossroads, the crippled knight heads straight towards Mimic Princess. Aware of her Wonder Chest, he knows it'll come in handy to store all that treasure, so he pulls all the determination he can muster and prepares himself to face the-- OH SHIT, DRAGON KNIGHT!! Flinching the instant he catches sight of the beast he turns tail and flees back to the crossroads. He's panting when he gets there, feeling in his bones the wear of the first fight upon a body long past it's prime. Looking around, the other knights nowhere to be seen, he can only pray that there's still time for him. Still filled with dread from the sight of Dragon Knight, he decides to make his alternate choice be Knight Princess. Humans truly shine when in numbers, he thinks, and as things are he might need all the help he can gather. Wary, he approaches the tower, keeping his eyes peeled for whoever might be guarding this tower...

Escaping the perspective of the kobold knight, a rather flushed Legarch looks about the table. "Well...I can see why rescuing the princesses is part of the goal....but it seems like there is something more to it." he said, realizing that the kobold knight often thought of its kingdom, and the safety of its people, even whilst rescuing his people's princess. "Is there.....is there reasoning, or boons to be gained by rescuing more than one princess?" he asked, noting that at least one other at the table seemed to already be heading to another tower,
-----------------------
After a long rest with his Princess, the Kobold Knight wakes from his pleasant dreams, the princess still huddled up against him. Smiling, he licked at her cheek, gently waking her. "Time to wake Princess. We cannot just stay in the tower. We must go lest the dragon might make its way near here sometime soon." he said, flicking back down his helm over his face, his massive crossbow over his shoulder, as he offered a hand to the lady to help her to her feet.

The master would nod to Legarch. "If you so desire...you may rescue other princesses. However, after an unknown amount of time, the towers will collapse. Gaining a second or even third princess may expand your future kingdom. But you must be wary, as it will entail more danger the more you rescue. And...if you so wish...you may seek out the dowries located within their towers. Time of course, is still of the essence." ______________
Nodding, the princess took hold of her knight, and together, they would bound forth from the window on a rope of braided scales...she had a great deal of time and decided to weave one. How does one weave scales you ask? I have no idea. You'd have to ask her.

Legarch nodded to the narrator. He could not just let sit by and let the other princesses be left to their fate in the towers. Though, that begged the question..did the other knights also rescue their princesses? Perhaps they would all be saved by other knights? Well, he could at least do his part in saving the Princesses he could. "Right, I'll take that to heart." he said. He wanted to ask what was meant by 'future kingdom', but that would waste at the time he was given. It seemed that there were no 'turns' being taken, and the towers would collapse whenever a real time limit was reached. He had to be quick. He dived back down, his perspective switched to the kobold knight.....
------
....who was befuddled when the princess showed him what looked like a scale rope that was...'braided' together somehow. he went down the rope first, having to drop down the remaining five or so feet, with the Kobold princess following after. He got quite the spectacular view of her bottom as she went down the rope, and he caught her as she dropped the remaining distance. "There, I got you princess." He said, before gazing at the other nearby towers.
"I'm sure you want to be rid of this place as soon as possible, but I cannot just leave these others in the towers to their fate." he said, as there was a rumble that shook the ground. He looked amongst the towers, and something in his mind told him which tower to go to. "We need allies as well. The kingdoms are in an uproar from what I hear, and conflict might come to our mountainhome without some help." He explained to her, taking her hand in his and walking with her to the tower. "I believe we will find an ally in that tower. Please forgive me for not taking you home as soon as possible Princess."

Martyr Knight vs. Tribal Knight Approaching the next tower, you see in the distance the noble savage known as Tribal Knight. His great speed only outclassed by his connection to the spirits. Upon seeing you he is the first to act, throwing his great boomerang with force greater than any other being. The massive obsidian lined weapon arcs towards you, but you manage to bash it off to the side with your own great weapon. Tribal knight readies his totem. Martyr readily pulls out the Draconic Ruby from the worn cloak while approaching the boomerang, whispering the summoning words. "... And come with a very evil face and your mouth readily open, because if you make it specially frightening I got a rare treat just for you!"
With the fiery dragoness being summoned making her imposing entrance, mouth hopefully already agape, the knight promptly picks up the boomerang, places it in her mouth and shuts her maw. "Don't let it slip from your fangs and bite hard on it! It's pretty boney, so even if you don't want to swallow it at least break it down for me!" he begs. Once assured that's out of the way, he gets back into a defensive position, ready to parry his magic with his indestructible blade if the princess' entrance didn't intimidate him out of it.
Tribal knight, coming from a savage land is no stranger to giant monsters and does not fear the ire of gigantic creatures such as the dragon princess. Raising his totem, Tribal knight called upon the spirits of fire, sending a blast of the elemental energy towards Martyr knight. Undoubtedly this would have been his end, save for the magical jewel gifted him by his princess, protecting him from the deadly flame. Realising the fiery blast was ineffective against the ever-advancing martyr knight, Tribal knight began the intensive process of adjusting his totem, carefully manipulating it to a new elemental potency. If Martyr knight was indeed to strike, now was the time to do it.
The knight clutches the side of his helmet for a brief moment before turning towards the royal dragoness. "Quickly princess, charge and put me close to him!" he asks while climbing onto her muzzle, seated in the spacing between her eyes, his Troika tightly held against his lap in hopes to weight him down. Though taken aback by the request for an instant, she complies and positions herself, then surges forth and outstretches her long neck, instantly crossing most of the distance between them and the adversary. With the sudden stop propelling the knight forth further, the Martyr holds out his big sword and swings it down strongly, the force shifting his direction and now aiming to dive right at the open mouth of his skull helm, so even if he try backing away the blow may still crush one of his legs. Holding tight onto his Troika to keep the blade straight, the war-weary knight mentally prepares himself to allow it to swing to one of his sides if the foe attempt sidestepping, both in hopes to catch his side and to get into a better position for a ditch-effort forward roll to potentially diminish the injuries to himself upon landing.
Momentum carrying him forth, Martyr knights blade cleaved into the skull-helmet that was tribal knights first line of defense. He would feel the bleed indentations bite into flesh and carve across the surface of the bone, dragging over a portion of the barbarians skull. As he is carried through, Martyr lands behind tribal knight, skidding to a stop and back into stance for another blow.
Tribal knights connection to the spirits is strong however, and even with lacerations across his face and skull, his chanting does not stop. With a final attunement, the totem shifts in color and with another it activates. The ground around Martyr knight seems to flash briefly for a moment, before a geyser of water erupts lifting him high into the air. Ten feet. Twenty. Thirty. Fifty. One hundred. The ground is now a dizzying distance below him as he begins his fateful descent.
Thinking quickly, Martyr knight called upon his troika, causing its runes to glow, before stepping onto it, causing the large weapon to stick to his feet as if it were some kind of foot-mounted board intended for sliding on snow. Unfortunately, Martyr Knight began sending numerous orders through the gem. Involving firebombing his enemy while coming up to save him, then gently lowering themselves to the ground in a simultaneous dive-bomb. Unfortunately, Martyr Knights instructions were too long and complicated for Dragon princess to piece together. This combined with his conflicting order of “hold the boomerang in your mouth” and “breathe fire on him” were too much for her to handle, and so she tried to do both at once, sending the boomerang sputtering and flying. Dragon princess looked around furtively, from the boomerang, to the chanting knight with the bloody skull, to her own beloved falling from the sky.
At last she seemed to decide on a course of action, leaping as her lover fell, opening her arms wide, the knight would safely be caught betwixt her massive heaving bosoms, allowing him some degree of safety, but also resulting in severe crushing. Not to mention the dragon princesses own strength and the lodge sword strapped to his foot led his leg to contorting into an unnatural position. He could be fairly certain that his left knee was now dislocated.
Alighting softly on the ground, Dragon princess eagerly hugged the knight within her bosom, just glad that he was alright. With the dragon no longer holding it in place, tribal knight summoned his boomerang once more, and with a spinning throw sent it flying towards martyr knights head. Thankfully however, the prodigious princesses pert posterior was able to ward off the worst of it, causing the bladed boomerang to bounce back, only to be caught once more by Tribal Knight.
Still the damage was done. At first the princess stood stock straight on her tiptoes in shock, then as the pain of the small knick began to waft through her she felt tears begin to well, then she fell to her knees, bawling greatly at the pain, allowing Martyr knight to fall free of her cleavage.
After releasing the sword from his feet and having a well-needed pained groan the knight stops in his tracks to look up to the sobbing dragoness. Ultimately, he's the one who brought everything to this. It's his fault this misery is upon them. Lifting himself with the help of his Troika, he speaks up, "Princess... I'm sorry I put you through this. Just... go back to salvaging your treasure until you feel better. It's about time... I take matters into my own hands..." he holds his sword out and then runes begin to lighten up across his armor, and even a row of runes appear on his cloak... and that's when a ghostly-looking arm emerges from the fabric and holds onto the Troika's handle. In a dual-wield, parrying stance, the Martyr charges forth to make justice to his name.
Still weeping she nods morosely and begins floating off. Blade in hand, Martyr knights charge is nearly countered as Tribal knight seeks to create another geyser. Realizing the same trick again, Martyr knight leaps out of the way and slashes, without hesitation, Biting first into his great bone boomerang, wrenching it from his grasp, then swatting away the shamans totem from his other, and finally, cleaving into Tribal knights head, splitting it down the middle, and finishing the noble savage Panting heavily from that last charge he sets the Troika down, the tip sinking into the ground, then he sits down and holds onto his dislodged knee. He'll have to do it while he's still able to sustain the pain, and uncerimoniously twists the bastard back into position, letting out an unhindered, agonizing shout. As the pain surges through his body, he can't help it but muse. Under normal circunstances the martyr knight would refrain from taking another's life, but it seems he was too consumed by regaining the one smidge of his prime to hold back just enough... or maybe he unconsciously knew. He knew these poor souls have no salvation to begin with. At least... not in life. Looking down at the fallen one's totem, he picks it up with his steadily fading hand and stores it in his cloak, before stumbling upon his sword when the drawbacks begin to sink in. He begins to mentally curse that simple-minded dragon princess, but ultimately reassures himself to just cope with it and take a mental note to today's events. With effort, he pulls himself towards the tower's door, now free of miasma, and stumbles onward to perhaps the last tower he'll be facing today.
Dragon Knight vs. Arcane Knight Descending the tower together, the pair had a chance to talk a bit more. “So my princess, if we are indeed to add others to our little family” “Harem” “Harem…then who should we choose” “Well…” Dragon knights heart plummeted when she told him who his next princess would be. Of all the princesses…her? He had honestly not seen it coming. Shaking his head, he approached the tower. Once in sight, he wasted no time and drew his weapons.
Dragon knight charged forth, both blades in hand, ready to meet arcane knight in close combat. His opponent, Arcane Knight was said to be a skilled wizard and a fierce combatant, but far from a master of either. Compared to his last battle against desert knight, he expected this one to be…much easier. Activating the bracer gifted to him by desert princess, Dragon knights shadow would extend, then grow, then rise becoming a perfect copy of dragon knight. Blade raised, Arcane knight was skilled enough that he could ward off the dual blades of one dragon knight, but faced much greater difficulty fending off the seconds, cutting through the joints in his armor. Arcane knight let out a muffled cry at the sudden pain, before lashing out with arcane energy at the false knight, dispelling the shadowy facsimile through a simple counterspell.
Shocked at the sudden disappearance of his clone, dragon knights concentration faltered, preventing his blades from penetrating the arcane knights armor a second time. Welling up with magical energy once more, Arcane knight charged his blade, before sending a wave of mystical energy at dragon knight, sending him flying, summersaulting back. Dragon knights dexterity would not fail him however, and as he came back to earth, he easily landed in a battle stance and charged once more. Again he raised his dual blades as if to strike, but instead opened his vicious maw, unleashing a gout of flame directly into the face of arcane knight. Unable to defend himself against the sudden attack, arcane knight realed, desperately shielding his eyes and falling to the ground in a vain attempt to extinguish the fire.
Leaping, dragon knight sought to pin the knight to the ground with his blades, instead his blades tasted only dirt as the fervently rolling Arcane Knight continued to roll haphazardly just out of reach. Arcane knight in turn, tried to lash out, blinded from the fire and distracted by the pain, he could barely strike anything let alone dragon knight. Stepping forward dragon knight sought to place his foot on the rolling knight, keeping him in place. This was enough for arcane knight who sent an arc of arcane energy into dragon knight.
Still, he would not be daunted. Placing his blades on either side of Arcane knights neck, Dragon knight knelt close, hissing into arcane knights ear. “yield” “…I….I yield” Arcane knight eked out at last dropping his blade. With a smirk, he stepped over arcane knight. Thoroughly beaten and burned, he could do no more, he had admitted defeat, and now the towers hold on him had been broken. His pride however, would never truly recover…perhaps desert princess could make something out of him yet.
With the miasma dissipated, Dragon knight entered the tower, ready to face it and rescue the princess within.
Kobold Knight vs. Gold Knight Making the way to the next tower, I tell the princess to stay back, near a large rock to wait on me, as I attempt to sneak in closer to get a look at the guardians. To my dismay, it is more that just a knight.
Setting off on your next conquest you approach the tower of goblin princess, the head of a healthy kingdom filled with hedonistic slavers. They are however incredibly wealthy and if nothing else, your people know the value of wealth. As such, it comes as no surprise when you see the knight guarding her. Gold knight. However something is rather…strange. It seems that there are two man-at-arms flanking him. It is well known that he only fights well when there are other people to show off in front of, and these mooks he has brought into his service seem to fit the bill rather nicely. Unfortunately, he sees you first. Halberd at the ready, he begins charging at you, seeking to shorten the distance as soon as possible and finish you off quickly
"Hey..wait, how can he bring an assistant or two upon this? I thought the knights went at these quests alone?" The sight of the knight charging makes the 'bold more than a bit fearful, taking in his surrounding terrain, before he lances out a bolt in the direction of the Gold Knight that charged for him, seeking to hobble the shockingly nimble bastard.
Again kobold knight surveys his surroundings and finds it to be the same dry dirt road flanked by tall grass, grass large enough to hide him, but certainly not his crossbow. Gold knight is fast to close the distance and with a powerful thrust, slashes at kobold knight (Kobold knights health reduced to 1) (Kobod knights speed and prowess stats are now switched).
My side is slashed at by the halberd, eyes going wide at the feeling, as my instincts kick in, starting to dash away. How could he do that?! Gods above, quick, gotta do something. Keep dodging quick. My reptilian eyes gaze at the Men at Arms, seeming yet to do anything. Right, perhaps his lackies were the answer...need to kill them, or drive them away.
In a charge looking like pure madness, I rush in the direction of the two, Arballista loaded, and the bayonet pointed to skewer one of the followers, letting out a screeching hiss to try and intimidate the two.
Unfortunately, the men at arms do not see much threat in a diminutive kobold and so stand their ground (intimidate check failed). Gold knight, won’t to let a foe escape (or harm his entourage) lept forward with great vigor, placing his foot on kobolds back and pinning him to the ground with his foot (critical success). Raising his halberd for a final strike, he remarks hastily “any last words”
The reptilian eyes behind the mask go wide in terror as he is pinned down. He had to make an escape. He would not let the Kobold Princess be left behind awaiting for his return! "*hiisss*....Armor with a big fluttery loincloth is stupid!" He said, a desperate attempt using both tail and claw to try and tug at the fluttery red material to trip the knight up.
“EEp” gold knight remarked as his loincloth was yanked free revealing his gold-plated underpants. Dropping his halberd, he immediately used his hands to cover his secret underthings. When the knight's foot came off, My arballista quickly was brought to bear, the sharp tip of the bayonet not far from the Gold Knight's groin. "Don;t move! Unless you want a bolt right through your gold underthings!” “meep” he cried not wanting to risk his families jewels
My hands are shaking as I hold the large crossbow, slowly getting up. I look at the Gold knight, breath gasping slightly as I glare at him, the wound in my side throbbing a bit. "Now GO! My trigger finger is getting itchy!" I bark at him.
Backing away slowly, the gold knight breaks into a full on run, unwilling to battle kobold knight any further. It seems cowardice triumphed over vanity this day. The men at arms, seeing their brave leader flee shrug, and walk away.
Once the 'brave' Gold knight is far out of sight, I slump a bit, hands shaking like crazy. That had to be one of the stupidest things I'd done in a long time...Thank goodnes I didnt die in the attempt. I make my way closer to the rock where I left the Princess, Calling out for her to come over.
Approaching you slowly a severe look of worry on her face, kobold princes runs over and hugs you. I give a weary smile to her afer I lift my visor, before stiffening in place as her arms grab around and hug me tight like a vice. "Ssssss!! P-princess...I appreciate the hug..b..but please, not on the wound!" He says, the pain making him feel almost dizzy, as he lightly hugged her back.

Inside the tower, Martyr Knight is met with an unexpected sight: dozens of tired-looking knights, whose visors turn to face him almost in sync. They received the intruder somewhat aggressively (as if they weren't intruders themselves), but explained that they exhausted themselves triggering all the traps of the tower and the rest of them are upstairs trying to save 'the true princess', as they call her. The title that Knight Princess was given by their fan-club leaves a sour taste in his mouth for some reason.
Martyr offers to help whoever he can up the stairs, but they all decline, moping about just getting in the way. Gosh, he's not in condition to lift those spirits... and to make matters worse, they actually object when he tells them he'll go upstairs assist the others. Now that's just pissing him off, so he informs he'll leave it up to the knights upstairs to decide. Some try to stop the knight, but they're all so tired that a simple shove makes them fall on their rear end. Taking too long to get back up, the veteran knight gets to the next floor before they can do anything.
The same story repeats itself, another more dozens of knights not the slightest receptive to his presence. This time they're just sitting around, some tending the wounded among their numbers. He gets explained that their chosen commander, the princess' second-in-charge, just got upstairs and is going to bring her back soon, so the rest of them are just standing on guard. Most expected, they're skeptical when the newest visitor offers to go assist the guy, but Martyr heaves an annoyed sigh when they refuse to escort him upstairs and would rather duel him before he can pass. Explaining that time is short and soon the towers might collapse doesn't phase many of the able-bodied ones, either because they couldn't care less for the other princesses or just because they don't trust him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Player-Maxwell glances at Nothing for a moment there. "... Do I act like that in the real world? Chief God, I hope I don't..." he shakes his head. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It takes several duels, but eventually Martyr Knight rises triumphant... but of course, that small victory comes not without consequences. The living legend held back as not to arouse any unwanted causalities while his opponents, even if awfully inexperienced by comparison, did not. Not only is he past his prime, but also beyond exhausted from over-exerting himself near the end of the fight against Tribal Knight.
While dragging himself up the stairs, Martyr Knight has the lingering feeling their elected commander will be just as unreasonable as the others...

"Oh no" Nothing responded. "You are MUCH worse. Always talking about truth and justice and duty and such. Its honestly the fourth most annoying thing I've ever heard" ________________________
Seduction of Knight Princess by Martyr Knight The Martyr is panting heavily, the shaky crescent-shaped edge of his Troika held underneath the helmet of the princess' right-hand man. "There... I hope I've earnt your trust for now. Now get up..." he puts the sword down and offers his singular hand. Reluctantly, the bested adversary takes it and gets up. "... I still want a rematch when I get a new sword." he insists, shaking the victor's hand a little too firmly. "If I get back in peak condition until then, you'll have it. But for now please reassemble your men. The princess will rejoin you all shortly." he picks his sword back and leans against it, while the second-in-charges begruntingly nods and takes off down the stairs.
"... Children..." Martyr grunts, stumbling towards the princess' door, an enchanted lock with a sword's broken edge stuck on it. "Let's see you do the same with this one..." he raises the legendary weapon and swing it down, the lock splitting and the door shaking soundly from the impact, slowly creaking open.
Back to using the Troika as a cane, the knight drags himself in, looking around cautiously. "Brother in Arms. It is not today that your journey draws to a close." he informs, throat starting to dry up at this point.
Perhaps the last thing he expected upon entering the tower were the mass of knights who had come to save “the true princess”. He believed they were called “the band of the hawk” but now they went by “the band formerly known as the band of the hawk” due to certain copyright issues. The second to last thing he expected was that upon opening the door to the rinses boudoir, he’d find the princess well…in a state of undress…or rather less than formal dress. She seemed to be wearing yoga-pants and an exercise bra as she hung upside-down from one of the posters of her bed doing mid-air sit-ups.
Many a man would have paid greatly to see this sight, the sweat glistening off her toned abs. A body of tightly wound wiry muscle, meant solely for the endurance of combat.
The third to last thing he probably expected was that upon seeing him, she would immediately grab the poster with her hands, flip down, tear it from its place on the bed and throw it at him…the aluminum pole would embed itself in the wall a few inches to his right. She cursed under her breath. Martyr would barely even flinch from that near-hit attack, but perhaps just because he's already leaning heavily towards his sword. "... I'm sorry. I too wish you could've just stormed out of here on your own. Look on the bright side though, the pathway is cleared now. Your band should be gathering downstairs and ready to get back into action when you are."
Ahem The princess drew herself up. “I…DO…apologize for my outburst but…I am afraid that I promised my men a chance at rescue first, and that I would ensure that no one would lay a hand on me. And if I leave with you, well…that would make you my husband wouldn’t it? You’ll have to forgive me” she continued breaking off another aluminum leg from her bed “but I take my promises VERY seriously. Now…Away with thee!” she cried lunging at Martyr knight with the makeshift weapon only to have it blocked by his heavy suit of armor. “…this usually works” she continued prodding him again slightly.
"Tch, those children... trust me, I let them have their chance. I offered to help them reach you, even, but they'd rather duel with me and sit back mourning upon losing. They're too fixated to even help each other. If it's not you, I guess they just don't listen. Heck, I had to let the guy who claims to be your right hand try to break your door's lock even after I explained to him a standard-issue blade would just break against that ward.. ghh..." he stumbles to the side, readjusting his sword to lean against it. "S-sorry about that. Clearing pathways through towers in one go is not a simple task. One can only take so much punishment without resting..." “Wait…you…you beat…ALL of them…” she then did a double take shaking her head “Wait, you Hurt my MEN!”
"Don't take me for a fool, I wouldn't do that." he shakes his head. "It was difficult to pull off, but thankfully I didn't need to do more than make them stumble and point my blade at them a few times. Some were stubborn, I give you that, but after falling on their posteriors the third time in a row they understood I wasn't ill-meaning. They took their toll on me, though..." he curls his arm around the Troika to rest a palm on his chest. Then he looks up to the royal soldier again. "... By the way, you won't pierce anything sturdier than leather armor with that technique." he annoyedly bumps the bed's leg away with the hilt of his sword. With some effort, he stands upright and resumes calmly, "You need to hold it aligned to your forearm - make it an extension of your limb - then step forth and rotate your shoulders as you thrust. Remember to aim ahead of your target, so you pierce at full strength. Just... test it on a wall or something, you'll still feel the difference. It is not very honorable for a knight to attack another who can't fight back. You're better than that."
Blushing heavily at the alignment of her stance, she looked up at him…her eyes slightly moist. Hastily wiping them away she would disengage him. “Alright” she said heading over to her trunk. “I’ll leave with you” she continued, pulling on her arming coat and setting her armor in place.
"Heheh... more like, I... will follow you... urk!!" and he stumbles to his knees, wheezing as he clutches his chest. "Argh... or... I would... have I not taken one too many blows. Sigh..." he sits up and rests his back against the torn-apart bed. "... How I miss the times healing potions were wide-spread. Nowadays all the common people get are... lewdly-shaped chocolate." he grunts.
“well…there is something” she began reaching into her chest…no not that kind, the box kind. Drawing forth the well known pinkish-red liquid within a glass phial, ready to be quaffed by an adventurer in need.
"... Huh? You..." he looks up to her and tentatively reaches over to hold the vial. "My goodness... even if it's small-sized, I genuinely didn't expect I'd live to see one again. This... this is something you inherited, isn't it?" he asks before turning his face away, in order to privatively open the visor and take a little sip, whincing slightly before lowering the visor again. "Fu-... ah, never have this bitterness tasted so sweet." he sighs with a light chuckle, raising the visot again to resume sipping haltingly. “Yes…it was…a gift from my father. He told me…he would need it when he got back from the battle…he just…never did…We should go…quickly. No telling when the dragon will return and attack”
The knight would pause at that remark, setting the near-empty vial down. Strangely, a sorrowful kinship overwhelms him. The princess sees the knight moving his arm close to his face. Prolly wiping leftover potion from his lips... "... I've discovered something interesting, speaking which." he says as he stands up and tests his joints. "First off, the towers are on the verge of crumbling. I don't know how long until they all collapse, but that's the real threat." then he picks up his loyal Troika and sets it on his shoulder. "Secondly, please take your dowries along with you. My gut feeling tells me that the dragon is the last of our conserns now..." And with that, he uncerimoniously begins marching. "And put on your helm! You're back on duty now and we still have more towers to clear!" he says over his shoulder.
The Seduction of Goblin Princess by Kobold Knight With the Arbalestta's butt, I smash down the door, the thing seeming to be rusted shut or the like. "Princess, I'm here to...to....to?" His voice trailed off as his eyes took in the scene. What the heck was that contraption..and why was she…thighs…spread. You seem to have found her in a rather…compromising position…that is one in which she is blasting her thighs in little more than her panties. Her eyes widen as you enter and she is quick to throw the thigh-blaster away and take shelter behind her bed.
"Princess..Did someone..force you into that contraption?" He asked, trying to understand the situation proper. “What contraption! I don’t see any contraption! Nope, none here! Hahahahaha!” waving at the kobold from behind her shelter, her laughter as forced as one could make it.
Blinking behind his visor, he motioned to lift off his helmet. Had he said something wrong? He leaned his gaze over to the side to try and look around her. "Are you sure....I thought I saw..." he started, taking a starting step towards her.
Stepping out from behind her hiding place, now clad in the traditional skimpy garb of her people she stepped up to me. “I’m certain you see a LOT of things dear. I mean you’re a knight that’s your job, adventuring and such? Seeing the world? Well, it’s MY job as a princess to be ever beautiful, intelligent, stunning, fit and kind as the day is long.” Before he could speak again she would extend a finger to cover his muzzle. “AND…I must do it all while making the entire affair look absolutely effortless. So I’m certain you did not walk in on me during something as unsightly and effort filled as oh say exercising. Right?”
He watched her saunter out easily from behind, somehow having slipped on her garb with a near effortless action that escaped his watching eyes. She must have been very well trained in her...royal arts.
"Bu-.." his mouth opened to try and argue against her, but that soft finger cut off any sort of chance for him to. The stare she gave, and her tone of finality actually kicked in his instincts to flee nearly, his legs and tail twitching, shaking in his scales. He wasn't sure how to answer her, his head nervously starting a nod....that was the right answer…..right?
At that she seemed to perk up smiling. “Good boy” she continued, patting him on his head. “Now I think we should leave and head back to my kingdom. I’m sure you’ll be more than happy enough as my husband. Oh, but I do have one request.” At that she looked into his eyes, seemingly deadly serious “No. Cheating.”
The kobold felt like his blood was replaced by ice in an instant when the Goblin Princess shot that glare at him, skirting back aways from her. "I..Yes, We will head back from here..but I cannot just leave the others to perish here. Kobold Princess I already s-....." his muzzle froze on that 's' in mid sentence, as he went wide eyed in realization from his words.
Her eye twitched at that. “Oh I’m sorry, I must have heard you incorrectly” she continued, taking his muzzle in either of her hands. “I mean, I did JUST tell you the only request I had as the only princess you had saved right? I mean, how utterly SILLY would it be to break the heart of a poor maiden right off the bat? How heartless does a person have to be to DO that you know? But I’m sure I must have misheard you right? I AM the only princess you are saving after all right?” He tried to keep backing aways from her, and her tight grip she maintained, soon getting backed up against her boudoir, shaking it with the impact. "I...I mean not to break any hearts Princess. A..A knight's duty is to save those in peril." He said, his mind starting to get more and more into the mindset that he was a 'knight', instead of some lowly treasure guard that was sent on a suicide mission, after taking the blame for the Princess's capture.
"I..I wish to..no, I will keep you safe from harm forever more Princess. War is brewing from your capture....Mine and your kinfolk..we will not survive alone if we are made to face the might of the other kingdoms who would seek to blame monster-kin”
“Hmmm, I do suppose that makes SOME sense…But you know…if you REALLY want to be the king atop the heap of princesses…I think you’re going to need a crown. And forgive me but…I just don’t. see. that. crown. On. You.” she seemed to be toying with him now. Her fingers creeping up his armored torso inch by inch with each word, until at last she dragged her index up and across his chin, flicking it up slightly.
The feathery flicks of her fingers tickled his scales, making his scales flush a rusty colouration. She spoke to him like he was a hatchling. She could not have been much older....could she have?
"I...I've not been trained in the ways of kingly duties." He started, taking in a bit of a breath. he composed himself, for a few moments, before his mind flickered to a strange thought. He shifted his shoulder, and reached back, pulling the large gold halbered from his back, tassle still intact, presenting it to the Princess.
"...but I will become a leader. This trophy from the guardian of your tower. It will be crafted into the crown, and symbol of my leadership." he said, starting, the back of his mind guiding his words. "...and from it will be crafted a ring as well. Something to bond us and our kingdoms together as one." The words that flowed forth came up from a wellspring he had never known he had inside, as he kneeled before her, presenting the solid gold Halberd.
Her eyes shown brightly for an instant before she shook her head clearing them “*ahem*…very well…but…if you are to be my husband, than you are not going to be wearing a cruddy crown made from a washed up piece of tin” opening the chifarobe, she would remove her dowry. “This…is a crown fit for a king”
His gaze was downwards, and he did not catch the sparkle in her eyes. He just heard the quiet, before her still somewhat chilly voice spoke again. Was that..approval in her voice? He met her gaze. Still cool and calm. He watched her, remainning on his knees, as she went, and pulled a sparkling crown from among her things. "A king...." he said reverently. He watched her approach, before he took his weapon out. Holding it out, with the bayonet to his heart, he bowed his head to her. An action he recalled somehow being related to the royal courts, though with a sword instead
"Please Princess...allow me to be your king. On my life I shall keep our kingdoms, and you, safe.” She swallowed hard, her hands unsteady. “…With this crown, I name thee, regent of our realm, lord of the slave lands…and master of my heart.” Placing the crown upon his head, it shown with a radiant light, blinding in its intensity, and yet so warm and wonderful that no one could look away
I felt the crown alight upon my head, the gold slightly heavy, the crown fitting snugly between my horns for the moment. It was slightly warm from where her hands had held it. When it was placed upon his head, and she finshed speaking, the small kobold looked up at the small goblin, a genuine smile gracing his muzzle. He slowly moved, hefting his weapon over his back, his hand gently reaching out, still half bowed, taking her delicate hand, and planting a small kiss upon the top of it. "I will hold your heart close Princess." He said, looking up at her fully. "....Shall we go Princess?”
“Yes” it seemed she smiled for the first time. A true genuine smile. Taking his hand, they would leave the tower, off on further adventure The two of them walked out, hand in hand, his helm under one arm, now wearing the crown in its stead, as they walked out into the flat, tall grassy landscape.
The Seduction of Orc Princess by Dragon Knight Dragon Knight bursts into the princesses private sanctum. The highest room atop the tallest tower. Bursting through her door he hisses to the princess within "Princess, I have come to rescue you"
As the dragon knight bursts in, a loud cry can be heard calling out, a scream of battle as a club comes hurtling down at you from on high. A missed Knight having slipped by the defenses?
Gritting his teeth, dragon knight was not one to back down from a challenge of physical strength, raising his dual dragon-bone blades high, he sought to block the clubs full force with his two swords, relying on nothing but brute force to stop the impending strike.
The downward strike of the solid club came down, pressing down upon the crossed swords of the dual dragon blades. The strength of the blow was something else. When he got a chance, he would get a good look, seeing the wielder of the wooden, metal studded club was none other than the green skinned Orc Princess. "Dirty dragon beasts sent one to finish me? Dragon see that Orc's not to be trifl...trffle..tri..messed with!" She says, her battle hardened body tensing up, and pressing down to try and overwhlem the dragon with her own strength.
"I *gnn* assure you princess *HNNN* I have not come to *nnn* finish you" he could feel himself buckling under the pressure, still he would not give in, bracing himself with both legs and his tail even as his upper body struggled to maintain its composure. "But rather...to seek your *gnnnnnng* hand in *mnnnnm* Marriage!" With a slight heave, he sought a disengagement from the blade lock, seeking to remove one of his crossed blades from the engagement, and allow the club to slide down the remaining blade, and harmlessly off to the side, sidestepping in case she tried to clip him with the weapon on the way down.
The knight was damned near overwhelmec by her strength, but his words caught the prc of guard. A slight flush tinted her face at his words. "What..why would proud Orc like me do marry to dirty lizard beast, like ones who captured me?" she said, letting out a surprisingly feminine squeak of shock when he removed the one blade, sending her stumbling fowards from her own strength, the club sliding off the sword. SHe whirled about, club still at the ready, looking to bash his helm in. She was not a princess to be trifled with it seemed.
"Because" Dragon knight hissed once more, grasping the doorframe with his dextrous tail "As a dragon I admire strength!" leaping towards her he would seem to attack her head on, but with his prehensile tail grasping the doorframe, he would seem to stop short and fall just before his apparent strike. Falling to the ground with a clang of mettle, he would seek to swat the insides of her calves with the flat of his blades/ "And I in turn" at that he sought to drag himself back with his tale, back into the room and with any luck away from her retaliation "Am strong enough for you" Whilst his attemtped dash stumbles a bit, he still managed to keep himself up, and pull the manouver off without a hitch. Her skills were slightly dulled form all the time cooped up in the tower, and with the deft slap of the blades, she was sent tumbling back onto her bottom, the club flying out off her grip. It sailed forth, nicking the helm of the dragon knight as it sailed past, just enough to give him a good solid ringing in his ears. "You..You are strong like orc. But...but Orc would not be dragon's marry-pet!" She says, pride strongly shining through as she stood back up, cracking her knuckles a bit, seeming prepared to take you on barehanded if it need be.
Dragon Knights head rattled as the club brained him. Even if it was let go in an instant moment, it was still a very large and very heavy club. Squinting his eyes for a moment to recompose himself, he felt glad that she seemed oblivious to his less-than graceful exit. "Not pet. Partner! Merge kingdoms. Make large kingdom. Strong. Many servants. Many...toys." All in all Dragon knight found this experience much...easier with Orc princess. He didn't need to use those...what were they called...conjunctions yes. Big long words meant to make other words connect. Stupid things. Orc princess seemed to beef a similar mindset. Doing away with fancy, stupid deceitful words in favor of simpler, cleaner less lie filled ones. The thoughts gave him a hearty feeling in his chest. He even felt like purring.
Ah yes...THIS was what he liked. As she wound up her punch he would open his mouth. The timing would need to be perfect, but with his expertise (sole expertise) stemming from combat he felt that he could do it. As she swung at his face, he would seek to bite down on her meaty orc fist with his razor-sharp dragon fangs. Said to be as strong as steel by some, with any luck, he would be able to grasp her hand betwixt her fangs. Of course this would also most likely send him flying backwards, and he would soon seek to grab her hand as well, trying to grasp it with both of his scaly dragon hands in addition to his rigid dragon fangs.
The Orc scrunches her face up a bit. "Why does dragon want me to lick at his man parts now? This is battle...that for after battle." she asked, before realization dawns. "Oh...Dragon lizard do good in that kinda fight? Well Orc do that fighting too!" She said, her tusked smile grinning wide, as her free hands quickly reached down south, initiating a 'very' firm grapple upon the dragon.
Dragon knight winced at the grip. It seemed he had been understood after all. It was most certainly one of the strongest grips he ever had the...pleasure...of feeling. It was not however the tightest. And with her grasping she might feel something rather...odd. Undoing his loincloth and codpiece, dragon knight allowed them to fall...and for her to see in her grip that she had only managed to grasp one of his draconic-lizard hemipenises. "Oh yes" he said nodding a sadistic smirk in his eye. "I think I will prove quite...adept" he continued, seeking to surprise her by extending his whip-like tail around and, slithering up her leg and seeking to give her a bit of a "downstairs tickle"
The orc gave a little shudder as she felt the sudden tickle from down below, a throaty moan escaping her lips, as she looked down. Despite the pleasure she was feeling, she scoffed a bit, her pride tugging at her mind. "Hmph...Seen some bigger on Orc...you know how to use more than one?" she jabs at him, her hand starting to stroke at one of them, with that tight, but dextrous grip, used to holding many a weapon before.
"Dextrously" he continued still smiling, his tongue continuing to wriggle suggestively. "And as a handicap" he continued raising his arms for her to see "I won't even use my hands" placing them behind his back and grasping his elbows. Her technique was certainly good. Great strength. POWERFUL dexterity. But it lacked the nuance and grace of Succubus princess. And despite their brief coupling he had learned more than a few things from her.
He would continue to play with her nethers using his tail. Her rough hide undisturbed by the dull spikes and scaly texture of the prehensile organ. He would begin playing simply with her outer lips, tracing her folds lightly, and then all too suddenly head in further, whirling his tail within her like a propeller blade. In turn, he would extend his tongue and teeth, easily treating away the sheer fabric covering her breasts. His tongue wet, ready and prinmed, he would proceed to lavish licks and strokes upon them. Tracing spirals up and down and all around until at last playing with her areola and nipple with his rough dragon tongue tip. Lightly nipping the exposed flesh with his frontmost teeth before moving on to lavish his attentions on the other.
Her voice let out some rather soft groans and gasps, as the dragon went about lavinshing attention upon her form. She may have been strong, but indeed, she lacked the grace, and some of the creativity to keep up with all his moves. His tail was soon glistening, and her exposed chest began to heave with want as her hand stroked and gripped at one, then the other of his nethers.
"*gasp*...nghh...Dragon..might...*aauhn...Might just..might make good toy...if kingdoms join-nnghhhnn~!" she said, her pride still strong, despite her body seeming to easily cramble before his dextrous pleasuring. "M..my..plea-..pless...pleas-..f-fuck dragon..nnnghhaaan~!" she moaned out, her hips bucking a bit, as the dragon's tail was fully splattered by a hot, sticky wash over his scales.
The dragon grinned. "Do you acknowledge my strength"
She bit her lip, as she still felt thw wriggling of his tail within her. "Nngh..Y-yes.....you make good, strong fuck, for orc." she said, still a bit lost in the pleasure.
"Do you grant me kingship of your domain"
She grit her teeth a little at his words. "...Long as you strong...weak king..not Orc's..or my King" "And do you grant me your dowry as covenant between us"
"Yes..Strong King, worthy of strong gift."
"Then it is done" Dragon knight finished, kissing her deeply standing high up on his tiptoes to reach her. "Welcome to the family"

"Makes me wonder what the three worst things are..." Maxwell side-glances at Nothing warily. "... But yeah.. I guess I'll take mental note to tone down the preaching a bit. There's nothing wrong with being driven to seek the benefit of others over yourself, though. It's when people are so blindly impervious that it gets cumbersome..." he grumbles, but shortly after finishing that last sentence he sort of just sinks back in his seat. _________________________________________________________________________
Martyr Knight, Knight Princess and four of her most trusted men at arms exited the tower together. The rest of her band were ordered to raid the tower of all its valuables before returning to their kingdom proper. Back at the crossroads, it is now time to decide the next tower to tackle, but in his weary state he can't really be as picky as he wished. Sincerely, he's actually kinda hopeful Kobold and Dragon Knights are going to bump into him while he's not on the move. There's a proposition he wishes he had brought up since the beginning...
"So," Princess knight began. "You said you wanted to rescue other princesses right?"
"Indeed. Even if I can't escort everyone back to their kingdoms, taking them outside of the towers should at the very least buy them some more time. One princess or another might be from a kingdom experienced in combat, so if we could convince them to stick together they should be fine until their kingdoms can come fetch them." The weary knight explains, hopeful, while watching the ancient buildings in the distance.
"Yes...about that" Princess knight would look at him seriously. "Perhaps going around to rescue 'all' of the princesses isn't the best idea. Consider for a moment what will happen if-" "when" "when the towers fall, thank you Rodrick" "no trouble ma'am" "The kingdoms without their princesses saved will be in a state of disarray. Having lost the symbol of their future and hope the kingdoms will be soon fall to civil war and infighting. And when that happens well, WE will be able to step in and... bring order to these lands."
"Think of it, a kingdom stretching all the way from the canopy cave to the cold and dark. And WE will be the only ones with the will and fortitude to grasp hold of it."
"... Are you saying you're not even willing to try?" that's when he turns towards Knight Princess, staring into her visor through his. "Are you saying you're willing to discard other lives to rule over the rest?" he inquires, the hold on his sword shaking unsteadily.
When he looked at her like that it was so...unnerving. Unable to make eye contact as she rubbed the back of her neck. "I'm just saying...conquest would be much easier if that were the case. It's not like it'd be so terrible. They're all monsters anyway." "What about human princess" "DAMN IT PERCIVAL! WE DO NOT! TALK! ABOUT HER!" She had begun grinding her teeth, fists clenched. She seemed ready to strike Percival for a moment...then drew herself back. "Sorry. Just...sorry."
Martyr makes a short pause, letting Knight Princess catch her breath and listen up to him again. "... Do not discriminate those which you do not understand. Most of them are monsters, yes, but not all of them are in the sense of the word we're accustomed to. More so, they don't have to be."
Stepping closer, he rests an arm on her shoulder, his voice taking an almost fatherly tone. "If you allow me to quote a former Pirate Queen, 'Even the most barnacle-encrusted oyster can still yield a pearl if you feed it a grain of sand'. Now, doesn't that sound silly? Heheheh, but the message is wiser than it seems... what she meant to say was, even someone you may judge as a monster may show to be reliable if given a chance to prove their worth. Now, I'm not saying you can trust just about anyone, that's taking the other extreme of the stick. Please do me a favor and don't do that to yourself." he chuckles lightly, letting go of her shoulder and clearing his throat as he regains his previous posture.
"Now... the easier route is not always the most honorable. The 'wisest' is not always the most correct. A true knight may not hesitate to stain their gloves, but will refrain from doing so if they can help it. And you know there's a better path to take, as hard to tread as it is."
"These people need a consensus, not a sovereign to rule one and all. Were it not for all the strifes making everyone tackle one another... Even when a common enemy arises, it's astonishing how banding together is not as intuitive an attitude as it should be." he shakes his head. "... No. I've mulled it over for years now, it'll be more beneficial in the long run for everyone involved to earn the kingdoms' favor than usurp them."
Her eye twitched at his statements. They all seemed sound but...ugh. Why were they so infuriating! Like she was being talked down to. "Look, if you want to rescue other princesses that's fine...but if that's the case then I want to pick em, ok?"
"It's only fair, I was actually intent on letting you choose the order and merely give suggestions. Even if we reach our limit before rescuing everyone, at the very least you'll rest assured: you'll have done a grand, noble feat. Now, uhh..." he rubs the back of his helmet. "I can tell my tone rubbed you in the wrong say. My apologies, Brother in Arms." he bows his head briefly.
"...Boy princess" she said flatly. However it seemed that deep within her eyes, stars had blossomed
"... Oh. Fine then!" he nods, smirking lightly. "For that one I'll merely be your follower and help however I can so you'll reach the top of the tower. But first... I actually want to prove to you what I said about not all 'monsters' being monsters. If you ever doubted me, I want to cut that evil by the root." he asserts, readjusting his stance to not make it so cane-dependent.

With the Goblin Princess, and Kobold Princess now in tow, the Kobold knight smiled. While there was a mild bump in the road, things might just be looking up soon, seeing as the Goblin Princess agreed to be along with them. He pondered for a bit as they walked along. He had time enough for at least a princess more, at least he thought as much. Whilst his kingship amongst the monsters was assuredly more stable now, his relationship with the often tall, and mighty human armies would likely suffer tremendously. Humans already had such great disdain for what they called 'lesser' and 'monstrous' beings
Perhaps he needed to solidify relations with the humanoids more? Yes, that would be good....but he somewhat dreaded what Kobold and Goblin princess might think of another woman, let along a human female joining in upon the growing cadre of princesses. What possible way could he alleviate this? He pondered about, thinking what sort of Princesses he had heard had been kidnapped in the region. Wait...there was one that would fit the bill. It was not the most savory idea, but he turned down a nearby path, and started to make his way along, heading in the direction of the one known as the Boy Princess's Tower.

Dragon Knight and Martyr knight Talk
After a while discussing how the next tower is going to be approached with his companions, Martyr Knight refrains from marching onwards as he notices a familiar beast-like helm. It seems Dragon Knight has brought two powerful princesses to his side. Asking everyone to stay calm, he turns towards the mighty warrior as he returns to the crossroads.
Crap, a dragon's aura does feed the fear in those lacking in self-confidence...
"Greetings, Brother in Arms." he begun simply, raising his hand from the hilt of his sword slightly.
"Martyr" Dragon Knight hissed out. "Knight" nodding briefly to Knight princess. "...Other" he continued, nodding to the men at arms.
"Might be a little sudden, but... may I ask you how does a kinship among dragons work?" he tries to get to the point.
"...I do not understand the question. If your parents are the same, you are kin. Is it not the same for humans?"
He scratches the back of his head for a moment, then looks up to him again. "... Do you have any brothers? Do you get along?" he rephrases.
"...Several...and no"
"I see... so you wouldn't care for each other's lives if you had the chance to save them?"
"...no..." he said turning away. "not one bit"
"Hm, I understand." he nods, turning away as well. "I asked because there's a Dragon Knight guarding the next tower I'm going..." he trails off, waiting for any sort of response first.
"...there is no problem. Deal with him as you will" The dragon knight spoke through clenched teeth, hands white knuckled on his blades.
"... It's possible to break the curse of the towers without killing the guardian." the Martyr spoke up. "Even if it has no importance to you, just your presence facing him might just be the instigation needed for your brother to shake off the curse." then he half-turns back to him. "You sure you don't care?"
Dragon knight would draw his blade and point it at Martyr "If what you say is true, than he is a disgrace! A failure to all dragons and a slave to the towers! His continued existence is an affront to our kind!" Slowly dragon knight put away his sword. Speaking with a deathly calm. "His death...would be a service to dragon kind"
Having faced worse in the past, the armor-clad dragon does little more than make the crippled knight lean backwards slightly at his tone and sword-pointing. "... I'll keep that in mind." he sighs sternly, then bows his head at the orc and the demoness. "Princesses." he politely says, standing upright and turning away again, this time marching towards the Mimic's Tower. Halfway there, he makes a pause to check the totem he got from Tribal Knight. "We'll need to be properly shielded... I won't forgive myself if lose another one..." he grumbles under his breath, looking up now and then to double-check they're still at a safe distance. Let's see if he can conjure the water spirits previously imbued into it.
Dragon knight would stand there for a moment until Martyr knight was out of sight...and then begin pacing. "What's wrong dear" Succubus princess began. "Nothing" he hissed back. "You're lying" "No I'm...ugh...He's going to kill me brother." "So? You said it yourself. Your brother is weak, a failure. There's no point in saving him." "He CAN'T be saved...only put out of his misery...or left to rot as a prideless husk."
"Well isn't there another way?" "...No. Once one has succumbed to the towers and accepted their role as guardian, they are eternally bound until death" "Or lose" piped Orc princess. "No, not loss. Debasement. Their spirits must be broken. They must be left husks of their former selves."
"Hmmm" succubus princess pondered. "What?" Dragon knight growled. "I was just thinking. Given the choice between the two, what would Martyr knight do to your brother." "Kill him, obviously." "I'm not so sure about that dear." "No, Martyr knight is a good human. He would never...he would never be ABLE to-" "Well that's the thing about humans isn't it" succubus princess said wrapping her arms around Dragon knights shoulders. "They think that leaving someone alive to suffer is less terrible than letting them die with dignity."
Dragon knight stumbled under the thought. Could Martyr knight be that cruel? Could he really do that to his brother? His thoughts were interrupted as Orc princess hefted succubus princess by her horns. "Ah-ow! Those are sensitive you brute" she said slapping away meekly at the orcs hands. "Dragon is my hubby, not yours" "Well I beg to differ, I was rescued first, so he's mine" "You're both mine" dragon knight called to them. "And I am both of yours. We can worry about sharing later though" dragon knight began, slapping on the shade bracer and taking a deep whiff of the primordial bones. "I have business I must deal with." Activating the bracer, his shadow would extend, growing first in width, then depth, growing into a perfect copy. "I will keep you both...company" the doppelgänger began, licking its chops.
"And I will handle my brother" dragon knight hissed, beginning his run. He had to make it to the mimic tower first. HAD to. He would not let his brother become a husk. However much he hated him...however much they hated each other...they would always grant each other a merciful death.
Dragon Knight vs. Dragon Guardian vs. Martyr Knight
Martyr approaches the tower, stopping a reasonable deal of feet away from its guardian with his colleagues further back. His sword is rested on his shoulder, its indentations seemingly lined with frost as a chilly mist cascades from the whitened dull blade. "Dragon Knight..." he nods his head respectfully, for starters. He'll need to take advantage of the moment usually taken for aversaries to analyze each other.
It would be faint at first 'mi...mi...min' then grow steadily louder. "min. min. mine" and louder "mine.mine.mine" and loud "Mine.Mine.Mine" and louder "MineMineMine" AND louder "MINEMINEMINEMINE MIIIIIIIIIINE!" Martyr knight would turn around just in time to see dragon knight (the first dragon knight) charge past him, knight princes and the men at arms, clearing right past them and smashing into dragon knight 2"
"The devil is that noise... it's getting closer... and sounds an awful lot like--" and the knight flinches out of the way, looking on in disbelief. "Wh-what the..?! Dragon Knight, what are you doing?!"
“WHAT!” they both his back at him in unison.
"No no, not you, the other Dragon Knight. Ugh, look... let's call you Dragon Guardian for now just to make it easier, okay?"
With everyone nodding in agreement, the two brothers resume their clash, whereas Martyr Knight gets back to the the shocked stance. "Dragon Knight, what are you doing?!?"
"Saving him" Dragon knight hisses, stabbing his sword at his brothers throat. It is stopped short however as dragon guardian rasps his jaws around the blade before it can penetrate, stopping the dragon bone weapon short.
Stunned at the sudden grasp, dragon guardian easily swipes his brothers legs with his tail, causing him to fall, and then rolling so that he stays atop his brother, the blade still between his teeth. As dragon guardian redoes his blades for an attack all his own, dragon knight releases his blade and takes the other in both hands, slashing at his brothers neck, tearing away the dose but flexible scales.
Dragon guardian stumbles back dropping the sword clenched in his jaws and rubbing his throat, checking for blood, and fearing that his innate defense was now...missing. All it would take would be a single well placed strike and he would be finished.
Dragon Knight's reasoning takes him aback, but Martyr began scheming a plan, unresting his Troika from his shoulder. He begins preparing a geyser underneath them both, but when he notices Dragon Guardian checking his throat an idea sparkles in his mind. "Knight!!" he calls out, while he tries to focus on peparing a highly-pressurized geyser with a palm's diameter between the guardian's feet... actually, half a step ahead of that, he should feel bad for considering such a disonorably painful thing. "I... challenged him first. His swords... versus mine. Let him destroy my blade, then you can settle things with your brother." he speaks, panting at the effort it takes to keep that magic active while making it seem he's struggling just to stand upright... which wouldn't be an inaccurate suspicion. Holding tight to his Troika the knight charges, then jumps with weapon held skywards and cleaves aimed at his skull. At the very instant he try to defend himself, even if Dragon Knight decide to attack him while he's vulnerable, the geyser will erupt at full power, aimed at the cut in his neck. The thing is, the geyser is propelling an icy spear that should at the very least puncture the weakened skin and force some of the pressured water into his windpipe.
Unfortunately, due to his previous exertion, neither of Martyr knights actions would be entirely successful. As he sought to summon the geyser, he would not have the mental fortitude to keep the magic under his command nor direct it fully. Instead of the ice-spewing geyser, a small puddle would form instead, bubbling up steadily from the ground. As his troika swung down at Dragon guardian, he would suddenly feel incredibly faint, strength evaporating from his limbs. His blade would instead fall to the side of dragon guardian, who would blink a moment in confusion at his opponents very odd behavior.
This was dragon knights chance! Charging towards his brother blades ready to slice his neck, he would not notice the puddle of water that had formed on the ground. As he made to strike, found the ground beneath him all too...slippery. His balance lost as he crashed to the ground, sliding well past Martyr knight and his brother on a short slipstream, coming to stop a short ten feet away.
Dragon guardian attempts to attack Martyr knight...only to find himself laughing uncontrollably at the foolishness of his enemies, spewing out gouts of fire as he does so.
Regaining his senses when the blackness clears from his vision, Martyr looks up at Dragon Guardian in his laughing fit. Scowling under his breath, he grips tightly onto his Troika and, just when the enemy arches his neck to redouble the laughing fit, he turns back towards him and kneels up as he swings his Troika, turning his torso, shoulder and elbow, bringing all the momentum he can muster to this one attack. "STOP LAUGHING!!!" Regaining his senses when the blackness clears from his vision, Martyr looks up at Dragon Guardian in his laughing fit. "STOP LAUGHING!!!"
Again, Martyr knights exhaustion prevents him from delivering a truly serious blow. His swing goes wide as dragon guardian steps back slightly and doubles over laughing even harder.
The poor geezer falls flat on his face and wobbles as he tries to push himself back to his feet, unable to do more than spout disoriented gibberish... gosh, where did all these stars come from? And then he steps on the puddle he made and sees the world spinning around him as he falls on his back again...
Meanwhile. Dragon knight, regained his footing, entering his battle stance once more. Sliding along the icy water, blades drawn, he once again slams into his sibling, and drags his blades across his brothers neck.
Dragon guardian continues his laughter, even as the blood begins pouring from his veins, falling into the muddy road and dragging him to his knees. He continues to chuckle and sputter, a pained grin across his face, until at last he is covered in the bloody puddle.
Dragon knight stands there for a moment looking at his fallen brother. It seems it is now...raining. Dragon knight feels that is somehow appropriate. Reaching into the muddy abyss, he drags forth his brother. The former dragons unmoving body heavy in his grasp. With little remorse, he hefts the body over his shoulder, before reaching in to remove his former siblings dragon bone blades. "Take your princess" dragon knight hisses to the fallen Martyr. "I have what I need." It is with that, he begins his treck back to the hub. Soon, he must rescue his final princess...and then,..complete his kingdom
Alas, Martyr Knight takes that moment to actually catch his breath and give his broken body the time it needs to start functioning again. By the time his vision returns and he can feel the ground beneath him, he looks up to see the guardian fallen in his own bloody, a creepy grin adorning his dead features. Climbing back to his feet with the help of his Troika, he looks on as Dragon Knight marches away with the body of his brother. "... Hope he has found peace." he speaks up, despite his shame of himself. When approached by Knight Princess and her henchmen, "No comments on my performance. Please..." he grumbles, crestfallen.
Disregarding all that, he kneels in front of Dragon Guardian's death ground and reaches for the vial in his cloak, now empty and potion-less, and decides to take his luck harvesting as much redness from the mud as he can manage. Damn, is water magic going to be of any help now? He tries to pull out the water from the mud in hopes it'll result in hardened lumps of blood scattered on re-dried dirt.
Unfortunately he is not nearly skilled enough or connected to the spirits enough to try such a fine-manipulation of water, and so he contented himself with a muddy bottle of dragonsblood.
The Seduction of Boy Princess by Kobold Knight
As you approach the next tower, surprisingly you find it...unguarded. It seems that none of the previous knights were brave or noble enough to have rescued the princess of the endless fields kingdom. Either way you now have a free entrance and must merely make it through the tower to rescue the princess proper.
The trip to the tower had been something of a trying one. After the initial hostilities between the two princesses, they seemed to get a bit friendlier, but each of their comments to one another sounded like an attempt to one-up the other. When the tower was finally reached, quickly I made my way to the entrance. "Well, Perhas the two of you should stay down here, the tower might be dangerous for the two of you to scale." He said, hoping for some brief respite whilst scaling the tower.
"Oh don't worry dear" goblin princess began. "I'm certain we will get along Famously" "Just...please hurry back" Kobold princess jeweled, her hands clasped together in worry as her knight embarked to enter another tower filled with danger and treachery.
He gave a worried glance over the two, before nodding gently a the both of them. He turned to the tower, before stopping, and turing back to them. He gave a quick gentle kiss, to the goblin, and kobold Princess in turn. "I'll be back safe before either of you know it." He said, as he opened the door, and bounded up the stairs, fast as his short legs could take him.
By far, this was the WORST tower he had climbed yet. He almost thought he had met his end when the crossbow-wilding rust-monsters encircled him. And again when he was left suspended over a pit of acidic spikes. And a third time when the walls and ceilings started to close in on him as the chamber filled up with water. But it seemed now at least he had made it to the princesses chamber, and was ready to save her...I mean, him...or is it technically her...curse you gender identity and our necessity for political correctness!
In a rather vain attempt, he tried to make himself presentable, setting for ditching his upper armor, just coming in clad in his coth clothes, still dripping with water. He gently pushed open the door. "Princess, I'm here to rescue you!"
Sitting before a vanity mirror, the young princess would turn around, mouth slightly puckered from a recent application of golden lipstick. They would blink twice before realizing just how unkempt they must look and furiously trying to put away all the makeup and accessories laid out across the table. "Uh-um, just a minute good night" the pubescent princess called, a flurry of haphazard clumsiness, sending nail polishes and hair brushes careening to the floor, desperately trying to clean them up and dropping even more in the process.
The knight blinked a bit in confusion as he saw the princess suddenly in a flurry off motion. Was this like the Goblin Princess? "Er..Oh, I'm sorry..I've suddenly gone blind to whats happening in the roo-" He started to say, his hand coming over his eyes. Sadly, this action made it very hard to dodge. Especially when you have an intricate looking ivory hairbrush that comes careening for your forhead, the thing sent flying after the frenzy of the princess to hide her things. It was a solid blow, that had him dazed, and sent carreening backwards.
"Ah, what! oh no! you're blind!" boy princess cried rushing back to the vanity and trying to find some blindness-cure medicine. As they turned around they would see the kobold knight unsteady on their feet "Oh no oh no oh no!" the princess danced around, filled with anxiety and uncertainty as their knight began to fall back, dangerously close the long winding staircase that had led him up here.
Just the barest of inches from stepping back over the edge, the kobold reached out, and managed to grasp at one of the nearby wall sconces, barely holding himself upright. "I..I'm fine..I just need to..whoa..." He groaned, as he pulled himself forwards, soon stumbling at the direction of the Princess. The tower had taken it completely out of him, as he stumbled to his knees before the princess
"Ah oh um. Th-th-th-thank you good knight um" the princess rubbed their hands anxiously "I-I would v-v-very much like to um o-o-offer you my body. I! I mean! My HEART! YES! HEART!" they were a nervous wreck, voice cracking, legs shuddering, hands grasping at nothing. "AND UM! I-I'm v-very ss-sorry you um, became blind. I *sniff* I guess I'm not a *sniff* very pretty princess *sniiiiiiff* if that happened." It seems they were on the verge of tears now.
The dazed knight looked up at her, battered and bruised, though, in this position, oddly looked all the dashing knight, taking knee before the princesss. His head looked up at her, as he tried to reorient himself. He was not used to being tossed and bashed about so much. The day must be wearing at him something fierce.
He heard the soft cries of the princess. Inside, he felt a tugging at his chest. His mind raced, as he looked up, his eyes focusing as he focused on what to say.
"I..I can see now...pretty. So.... dazzling, princess, I was struck blind for a moment." He said. Something about the prior Princesses, was bringing a great amount of charisma forth from him, he never thought he had. "*sniff sniff* Rea*sniff*ly" wiping away the tears with the palm of their soft satin glove. "Th-then w-will you um, rescue me and um, t-take me home?"
He looks at her as she continues to cry and sniffle, pushing up to his feet. He was still smaller than this human Princess. She must have been so scared being here...she must not have been used to such a thing like being alone in the tower.
"Yes, I'm here to rescue you princess. I will take you away from here, and back to make a safe home for us."
"Th-th-THANK YOUHUHUHU!" they gasp at last, wrapping their arms around kobold knight and hugging them tightly. "I-I've been so lonely h-here a-and n-now I-I can g-go home a-and b-be a princess a-and g-get married ohoho!"
The kobold was suddenly grabbed tight, and hugged close to the bosom of the Princess. He tried to hug around her, getting just a little bit, as she sobbed out her sadness and joy. "Y-you are a brave Princess, enduring all this. I'll keep you protected and save, I promise." He said into her chest.
"OH! b-but um" they continued releasing kobold knight, even pushing him away slightly. "Th-there is um, one other thing" they continued, rubbing their hands and thighs nervously. "Well um" lifting their skirt, Kobold knight would be treated the sight of the lacy light-green panties that so lovingly caressed the princesses hips. He would also see the slight bulge that pressed against said fabric "I'm um...I'm a boy" they continued blushing furiously. "I-is th-that ok with you?" looking up at kobold knight briefly then averting their gaze once more, the picture of embarrassment.
The kobold was released, as the Princess starts to fidget nervously about. Then, the sight that is greeting him is met with...little reaction. He tilted his head a bit. "You..look and act like a princess. You are royal...so you are a princess no matter, right?" He said, seeming to be a very unconcerned 'bold by this revelation. "....you have quite prety undergarments as well princess."
At that she hugged him again, still sobbing slightly, heart pounding, and...utterly happy. It seemed she was ready to leave
The kobold hugged her tight as well, looking up at her, his tail twitching happily as she seemed to be calm, looking all the more radiant as she smiled so happily.
Dragon Knight vs. Gold Knight the second
A familiar sight rose into view. The tower, proud and erect. The innocent beauty trapped within. And before it, a fierce knight, once defeated by the tower, now a guardian of it. Gold knight, flanked by two men at arms. Halberd raised, gold knight the second advanced towards Dragon knight and his advancing party. Dragon knight simply held up his hand, halting their advance. As always, he would need to do this himself. As they entered into range, gold knight and his two men at arms would encircle dragon knight.
Gold knight would be the first to move, seeking to deliver a decisive first attack. This would be his downfall however. By committing solely to the attack, his momentum did not allow him a chance to withdraw his weapon in time to defend. While the impact did wound dragon knight, his armor absorbed most of the blow, and with both blades free, he was able to attack with abandon. The first slice cleaved straight through his opponents soft golden shell. The second found his throat, tearing the jugular and releasing a spray of blood.
The men at arms seemed to hesitate for a moment as dragon knight seemed to bathe in the bloody sperts before trying to advance and attack. What fools they were. Dragon knight unleashed his breath weapon, destroying the pitiful men at arms in an instant. It was a shame. If they had simply been intimidated more perhaps they might have lived. But now was not the time to dwell on what might have been. Now…he had a princess to rescue.
