Since you bring that up, Dave Mustaine hasn't said his band Megadeth is Christian, but he's been leaning that way the last few years. He doesn't use swear words as often as he used to, and his conversation, in general, i a lot better. Those are things I've noticed, besides that, Christianity is his admitted faith.

Haste the Day (my favorite. listen to both new and old, the different singers are like different bands)
For Today (give Talmidim a listen for the best worship song you've ever heard)
Oh, Sleeper
As Cities Burn (not as heavy, definitely one of my favorites. My wife like them too)
MyChildren MyBride (another of my favorites)
Texas In July (these guys remind me of ABR, have a wide range. Even played them at our wedding)
August Burns Red
Agraceful (take a listen to The Great I Am by them. One of the best worship songs I've heard)
As I Lay Dying
War of Ages (saw em live, excellent)
A Plea For Purging (first Christian band I saw live, excellent)
For the Fallen Dreams (another band that started up around our scene here. Very melodic, another favorite)

That's a start.

Most of these bands have heavy AND soft tracks. So give em a few songs before you make a judgement on em. These are typically the more heavy side of Christian metal.

“God left the world unfinished for man to work his skill upon. He left the electricity still in the cloud, the oil still in the earth. How often we look upon God as our last and feeblest resource. We go to Him because we have nowhere else to go. And then we learn that the storms of life have driven us, not upon the rocks, but into the desired Haven.”
