Most may know that timer balls is a type of pokeball in the series that capture chance rate increases as more turns are taken in battle. But what I am sugesting is the timer ball should be used to auto catch shiny pokémon. The Timer ball should be a exchange item that requires 1 gold nugget (random pokémon drop with the same percent chance as finding a shiny in the wild in the original game series) and stackable limit to 9 in the inventory at one time. The gold nugget may also be sold for 'pké. If anyone has any ideas for requirements on how to obtain this item (fairly) please comment to let me know.

I think that is too cheap even though it is random what shiny you will get no I don't think this is a good idea |

The timer ball is used for something else than catching shiny pkm (if you plyed the game you should know) but there is also no fun when there is a shiny pkm and system automatically catches it for you, then where is entertainment? of this game, player should supposed to ve searching for shinys (it is like cheating the game tho) |

That is why it should be high priced. Also i stated what timer balls do in the original game already so i am aware consider that the pokeball is like a master ball in this game in the sense that it is guaranteed to catch the pokemon. |

As you say this ball would be like a master ball so the price should be infinite. It would totally kill the fun of shiny hunting, there would be no "glory" on catching a rare pokemon because everybody could do it just running the game and letting it go. |

I was saying that the pokeball is currently like a masterball in that sense. and as i also said that the timer ball should be stackable and limited to 9 so it should not crazy money, but enough to make buyers think twice. |

Yep it is true that the pokeball is like master ball now but only because the game isin't finished yet and the idea of new pokeballs will be updated in near future but your idea is just not good, what is the point of possesing those shiny pkm when you won't catch them but the system will do and as spivol said it will kill all the fun player used to get from catching them The other point is if sam would give everyone something rare each week the game would be borring or if you would need to place your pokemon on platforms and don't even choose the moves for them and they will compleate the level by themselves, as you can see there is no fun at all this game would be borring and no one would play it, because it would be just waste of time Edited by Dark, Jun 8 2011, 11:51 PM.

The glory statement is all well and good but so far all a shiny does for you is get double the exp from normal pokemon. But would be a better idea if it was a 50% success rate? |

As for the shiny pokemon the rate of one showing on the map is 0.1% but it will also have a red bar so you don't need to hit it, and with your idea this thnig would be useless. Don't think I make you look bad it's not my point but your idea as for me and couple of players is just off and not proper, that is just what i think about it ![]() I don't know what Sam plans to do about the pokeballs that exist in 1 gen and how will they work (i know you see this idea as very helpfull etc. but it's not just right if you don't put any effort in catching shiny pkm) Edited by Dark, Jun 9 2011, 12:04 AM.

Right now there are players who have more than 2 million and there nothing else to spend money but stones so what could be that price to make them think twice? |

The point I'm trying to make is that it is optional to use as it will be limited and at a high price. if you just don't like it then yeah I can understand that i'm just saying that there are alot of players that do not pay attention. |

i could say this update is more suitable for multiplayer not for stroyline version but till we get to multiplayer there is a long way to go and sam try his best to make updates each week (so to consider your idea properly this will take time because in storyline version it is just useless as I and Spivol said) |
