This one can be difficult the first couple times through since you need to find the timings.

Step 1: vs ZUBAT

Immediately Start catching GEODUDES. Keep at least 3 in your party, but aim for about 5 (for emergencies) cycling them in when the Zubats come. By placing GEODUDE in the center squares when zubats come, you can wipe them up with 1 self destruct.

STEP 2: vs GOLEM

Once the GOLEMS start to come, place 2 GEODUDES on the squares... anywhere is fine really. 2 Self destructs weaken GOLEM. 2x waves of GOLEM. Catch them both in order to begin faceroll.

STEP 3: vs ONYX

GOLEMS at front, GEODUDES in the middle. Several waves of this, make sure to only grab enough GEODUDES to kill a wave. 2 per wav should do.

STEP 4: vs CHARMANDER

there are now 3 waves of Charmanders... if you have both GOLEMS, you can beat the level with 1 CHARMANDER caught. If you have no GOLEMS, don't worry... 3 CHARMANDERS will also allow you to beat the level.

STEP 5: vs GRASS

Grass PKMN want to play. Trick here is NOT to let CHARMANDER evolve when it first levels up. By stopping Evolution, CHARMANDER learns Fire Fang, which is pretty much a necessity.

After CHARMANDER learns Fire Fang, feel free to EVOLVE it into CHARMELEON, and commence facerolling.

Hope this helps. It's pretty in-depth... and the challenge really isn't super difficult after you do a few rounds of it. Again, trick is to not let Charmander evolve at 26 so it learns fire fang, and then letting it evolve at 27 to increase it's power. If you don't get the Golems, don't panic... it's still beatable... just go ape-shit capturing Geodudes to kill Onyx.

A small suggestion -- When you catch the Golems, put them in the middle row, and keep the Geodudes in the back. Leaving the front row open gives you a bit of an additional window where the Charmanders cannot be attacked.
