THE TEAM:

Note that they were all at level 40

Arcanine: with Flamethrower and Helping Hand
Alakazam: with psychic
Gyarados: with TBolt, Aqua Tail (not sure if BBeam would be better) and Earthquake
Victreebell: with Giga Drain
2 Pokemon with Sand-Attack.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TEAM MAY NOT BE THE BEST. THERE COULD BE BEST VARIATIONS, BUT THIS IS THE FIRST ONE THAT MANAGED TO BEAT THE STAGE

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE MAP

Lets divide the map like this:

The blue circle's function will be explained later.

The first thing i did was to struggle to reach the end, discovering what wave would come next. That was really important, as i always was one step ahead when i finished it.

Waves 1-4: Geodudes, coming in the area that corresponds to their wave (wave 1 = area 1, wave 2 = area 2 and so on). Just use Victreebel/AquaTail/Psychic.
Waves 5-8: Many different pokes. Just put 1 of each attacking pokemon in each corner.
Waves 9-10: Pikachus coming from the top lanes (area 1 and then area 2). Try to defend your candies with all your pokemon, but some candies may be stolen (its ok)
Waves 11-12: Tentacools coming from area 3 and 4 These are the key. The tentacools MUST steal a candy and you MUST kill it and protect the candy while its still on any of the blue circles. In other words, in the end of the round, at least 1 candy must be in at least 1 of the circles.

Ok, from now on you shouldnt have many troubles protecting that candy from the magnemites. One thing you must be aware of are the voltorbs (waves 15-16, i think), when you should put one of the pidgeys (i used pidgeys, but can be anything else with sand-attack) in the mid spot of the area 3-4 (depends on the side you are protecting), and another in the corner.

Note that some golems, horseas and A LOT of Raichus will spawn from areas 1 and 2. To kill them, i put Gyarados in the corner using earthquake. Eventually they got killed. After the raichus appear, thats the set up you must have:

The Alakazam/Victreebel/Arcanine will ensure that no machop from the nearest spawn will reach the candy. Then, when the machop carrying the candy finally reaches the opposite area, kill it and repeat the process. Everything will get eventually killed by your pokemon.

EDIT: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE INCOMING POKEMON WILL ALWAYS WALK IN A "U". IN OTHER WORDS, POKEMON FROM AREAS 1-2 WONT EVER GO TO AREAS 3-4, AND VICE VERSA.

Hope it helps :)

Totally my way, except my team was:

Charizard with flamethrower.
Ninetales with flamethrower.
Blastoise with aqua tail.
Golem with rock blast.
Alakazam with psychic.
Butterfree with psychic.

The psychic pokemon are useful against the tentacools and machops (and overall hit everything). The fire pokemon hit those pokemon that are weak and the magnemites. Blastoise for golems and geodudes and golem for weak waves and raichus.

I didnt manage to do it without pidgeys, but ok.

And hey, Gyarado's Aqua Tail is stronger than Blastoise's, and Jynx/Kadabra are stronger than butterfree =P

1- Didn't have a trained gyarados.
2- Didn't have another alakazam nor a trained jynx.

Still, the team worked just magically. I can give faith that this strategy for the gym works too :D

And yup, it works... may not be as creative as MMaster's, but I did the job faster than he did =P

Your way seems to tricky... the pikachus can easily get too much candy if you're not watching... My way has a 100% safe ratio ;)

Am, this is a weird request, but could you please say which emails are the ones that he couldn't trace? I wanted to know if I had made it in time and didn't get an email :S

I guess I don't have a nice chance huh? But I can still dream... anyway, I need to know.

EDIT: Whatever, mail didn't come through, so I guess I didn't get it. What are the mails anyway?

I dont think MMaster is allowed to say what the e-mails are, even though he is an admin.

MMaster, again, thank you and congratulations!
Your strategy is much more infalible and tactic than mine x)

Yeah, my e-mail isnt pombo@gmail or anything like that. Actually, in my home language, pombo = male pidgeon. yeah, lol.

Im going to keep Suicune too. Raikou is just outclassed by Zapdos/Jolteon (Zapdos is stronger, jolteon is faster) and Entei, by flareon/Moltres/Arcanine (Flareon has more Atk, Moltres more Stak and Arcanine a better movepool). also, he's pretty unique :)

I used Jynx with Powder Snow, Sandslash and Nidoqueen with Earthquake, Charizard with Flame Burst, and 2 Alakazams with Psychic. I let the tentacools take the candies into the right corner, then protected said corner,

EQ users on top of right corner (except when Magnemite, Voltorb and Machop come from the top).
