Does anybody think it might be a good idea to add 2 or 3 trainer battles inside of a gym level before the gym leader battle, because in the actual game all gyms have some of the gym leaders appendices that you have to battle first. Also does anybody think that gym leaders should mainly use just the Pokemon type their gym represents. Some of the vermillion gym pokemon are electric, but i think almost all should be with a few exceptions. In the actual game gym leaders for the most part only have one type of pokemon, I just think it might be a good idea to do that in PTD also. It would be easier to choose which pokemon to bring in a gym battle if you knew it was going to be almost all water, rock, fire, or etc. type. That way Sam can make the battle harder/longer, but by keeping it only one main type, it won't be too hard. Responses? |

he already gives the gym twice as much pokies, twice as much waves, and the pokies r already stronger, think that makes up for 2 weak trainers. :/ |

The 2 extra trainers would be awesome, maybe you could battle them like the nugget bridge level, but once you have defeated them, you could battle them again or skip the fight. I like the idea of the types too, vermillion gym is good enough for me now, but cerulean gym not! It would have been better of making another level for route 24 for those pidgeys, bellsprouts, bugs ... |
Sorry for the bad English I got tired of putting that under my message ![]() thanks Dollface!Spoiler: click to toggle Als je nederlands/vlaams spreekt ga dan eens naar deze site aub. | |

there should be more pokemons from the gymtype and less wild pokemons that have nothing to do with that type, but i don't agree with choosing wich pokemon you want to encounter. |

Good idea NegativeFear. But there are a few problems. Story line, The Gyms are the most important parts of the story at the moment, and adding some unnecessary trainers to battle might ruin it. Battling wise. If you made it only 1 type, it would be WAY TOO easy. All you would need to do is get a team of 6 ground types to beat Vermillion Gym. And if you were attacked. The Ground types wouldn't even be affected. Too easy. |

@budgetspaner I see what your saying, but if the attacking pokemon are level 40+ (later in the game), and since most people don't have 6 high level ground types it would still be pretty hard, it need some adjusting but that's why i posted it here, to get some feed back, so any feedback, is better than no feedback. Thx for the input. |

I agree B-)! but then please make the gym leader have less waves if you add trainers to it, otherwise it would take too long for a level. and the normal trainers should have a trainer battle music theme instead of a wild pokemon battle theme as a trainer battle music theme also excisted in the pokemon blue/red/green times, so why not in PTD? |
