Aside from the ABC dramedy Pushing Daisies, Tony-award winning actress Kristin Chenoweth has other projects coming up in the big screen.  This time, however, she will be using her vocal expertise in the Disney movie Tinker Bell.

Kristin Chenoweth, a 38-year-old native of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is known as a theater, film and television actress, and a coloratura soprano.  Before landing the role of Olive on Pushing Daisies, she has performed in various musicals, concerts and Broadway productions.  Her other acting credits include The West Wing, Kristin, The Pink Panther, and Stranger Than Fiction.

In the animated film Tinker Bell, Kristin Chenoweth will be providing the voice of Rosetta, along with Brittany Murphy (Clueless, Little Black Book) as Tinker Bell, and America Young (The Long Way Back, Thomas Grey's Rainy Day) as Wendy Darling.  Based on the Disney Fairies franchise, the movie revolves around the titular character that originated from the 1953 film, Peter Pan.

Originally scheduled for release this coming August, producers decided to aim for a 2008 release instead.  The delay was caused by many reasons.  One of which was due to the comments made by John Lasseter, creative head of Walt Disney Feature Animation.  He reportedly complained that the film was "virtually unwatchable."

According to Variety, another reason that caused the holdup was the $50 million production cost that went excessively over budget.  Sharon Morrill, the head of DisneyToons direct-to-DVD division since 1994, was reportedly fired because of this.  There were also complications on the various versions of the script, as well as the clashing of ideas of the different directors.

Moreover, the Pushing Daisies actress will also be lending her voice in the film Space Chimps.  The computer-animated film follows the adventures of Ham III and his colleagues as they embark on a journey to save their planet from an oppressive leader.  Also featured are the voices of Jeff Daniels and Andy Samberg.
