I heard on the news this morning that Corbyn has created some obscure position for Dianne Abbott in his shadow cabinet.

That fact alone would prevent me from ever considering voting for Labour.

It's not just The Sun ...

Yesterday the Tories cut tax credits for hundreds of thousands of working people making them and their families significantly worse off. You would have thought the newspapers might have been outraged but no instead they focus on a song. It really is a bit pathetic!

By the way, I'm sort of reliably told that Cameron's wife was once in labour!!!

In less than a week, Corbyn has gone from being highly principled far left politician to just the same as all the rest. He's been beaten into submission about the national anthem and our membership of the EU.

His credibility has gone down the toilet in a matter of days.

In this country we have democracy when it suits. The outcry from the establishment because Corbyn didn't sing the anthem was pathetic. To say it was disrespectful to those in the armed services who lost their lives is rubbish.
Meanwhile on the same day welfare benefit cuts have hit some of the poorest working people in this country. We really have not got our priorities right.

I'd have more respect for him if he stuck to his guns and refused to sing the national anthem at all future events instead, as is being suggested, he does actually sing it.

Time will tell I suppose, but he's off to a bad start, and as for appointing that red John McDonnell as shadow chancellor, he's just made it open season on himself.

I always remind people on these occasions of the SIXTH verse of the national anthem. For its content I refuse to sing any verse ...

6. Lord grant that Marshal Wade
May by thy mighty aid
Victory bring.
May he sedition hush,
And like a torrent rush,
Rebellious Scots to crush.
God save the Queen!
