Chuka Umunna withdraws Labour leader bid.

"Shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna withdraws from the Labour leadership race, citing the level of pressure and scrutiny that comes with being a candidate."

Good job really. Doesn't show an awful lot of forward planning or understanding required of a leader. It's only been 3 days since he threw his hat into the ring.

You've got to wonder what the real reason is though.

Stella Creasy is fit although I suppose that shouldn't be the criteria upon which to select a leader
Yeah, it should be! :D

Perhaps the word "Scrutiny" had something to do with his decision !!!!!

Steve please don't post any more photos of the lovely Miss Creasy as Keith will get all hot and bothered and his kettle will start boiling over.

Some right wing moron was questioning why Umunna wasn't married at 36. She seemed to find it all very odd. Dear God its people like this running the country.

:D :D Trust me Mike, my days of getting hot and bothered over a good looking woman are way behind me. I'd rather have a good curry these days, something worth getting hot and bothered over :D :D :D

Apparently the press were knocking on doors of his family members having found out their addresses. This included his 102 year old grandmother. Nothing has been learnt from the hacking scandal and thanks to Cameron' s cowardly behaviour the press will remain unregulated.
I don't think there is any scandal here. Frankly I don't blame him. His family should not have their lives invaded like this.

I wonder what you would feel if 90% of the press constantly vilified the Tory party. Don't you think the press should be regulated after hacking a dead girls mobile? Or do you think they should be allowed to get away with whatever they want to do to get a scoop?
