I am sat watching the Sheffield Wednesday versus Arsenal league Cup game on TV last night and was it just me but how the hell does Arsenal's Red shirt with white sleeves clash with the blue and white stripes of Sheffield Wednesday? It doesn't does it so why weren't Arsenal wearing their home shirt then?

I'll tell you why it is because like all big teams they want to rip off the punter and they have a "cup kit". Don't laugh it is official called their cup kit, I have checked their website and it is blue for god sake which does clash or could be considered to clash more than the red one.
It is getting beyond the joke now how many kits a team want so they can get money out of the supporter. What is wrong with the old way of just a home kit and if it clashed you went to the 2nd kit or away kit?

In case you think I'm kidding by the way on Arsenal last night here is their home kit

It doesn't (clash) and furthermore the shorts and socks were light blue (not dark blue as in the picture above) and it just looked appalingly bad...shocking in fact :O :'( :O

TBH Darlington, Reading do the same thing often now (eg Brentford away).

The sales of our (ahem) African Violet kit need boosting, so get those away tops on guys!

All about selling both lits to as many as possible now, not about colours clashing! Get with the times!
