It seems Cameron is determined to drag us into the pointless bombing campaign in Syria. Has he learnt nothing from the chaos that has been left behind after our previous efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan? It will be interesting to see what he comes up with to try and convince his opponents in parliament to approve his plan. |

I really don't know what the Turkish position is regarding ISIS. Its almost as if they turn a blind eye to them. |

So Turkey are allied with ISIS then? I know that sounds very simplistic, but if the proverbial brown stuff does hit the fan with the war on ISIS, Turkey are going to have to decide where they stand, regardless of whether they're fighting the Kurds or not. |

So let me see if I've got this right? Russia, USA and several EU countries are fighting ISIS. Turkey also claims to be fighting ISIS. ISIS are fighting the Kurds around the Syria/Turkey border and Turkey are also fighting the Kurds. Turkey shoots down a Russian fighter, which is bombing ISIS, but has strayed into Turkeys air space. So who's side is Turkey on????????

Their own; they and the Russians are both claiming to be against Daesh/ISIS/IS/whatever but are somewhat doing Their Own Things (Turkey attacking the Kurds at times, Russia attacking anyone who is against Assad) in this mess. |
