Don't mess with mother Russia Glenn. Putin is pretty contemptible and appears to be taking Russia backwards. However I will always have a certain respect for Russia because without them WW2 would have been lost. Their losses in that war were astonishing and horrendous.

As for this vote tonight its pathetic. As with Iraq we have a PM light on planning and thought but top heavy on empty rhetoric. His comment last night that those voting no to bombing were terrorist sympathisers was abject and he should be forced to apologise.

He's been hammered over that comment today, but has point blank refused to apologise.

Corbyn really worries me, but I agree with everything he says about the air strikes in Syria. That must make me a terrorist sympathiser. Never been called that before !!!!!

Why does Corbyn worry you Keith? He has been destroyed by the media before being given a chance. I suspect he is a far more decent human being than Cameron.

When it comes to politicians I don't care who is a decent human being Mike, I just want people in charge who are competent and have the countries best interests at heart. Its been a very long time since we had any of those.

But Corbyn is far too left wing for me. And some of the things he has said about what he would, and would not, do in the defence of this country frighten me. And I sometimes wonder where his true sympathies lie from some his public comments.

Then again I am a pro trident, anti mass immigration, UKIP voter, so I suppose my views on Corbyn are understandable ^o)
