Brighton's bubble bursting? - looks that way to me ... 6 games without a win or 4 without a goal (of which 3 out of those four at home) How do you read it? |

I've thought Brighton were punching above their weight all season, so this hasn't really come as any surprise to me. |

Agreed. Having watched Brighton on a couple occasions during their run, I thought they were a bit lucky and just not good enough for the top 2 or 3. Seems to be so. |

Seem to be talking about it all the time at the moment, but Brighton and Bolton are the only two teams in the league to have not won a game by more than a goal. They were scraping wins/draws when they could have quite easily have gone the other way round. Still an impressive achievement but now the first loss has come, confidence has slipped and the results are going against them rather than for them. Still think they'll make top 6 as it sounds like they will spend big in January. But certainly won't make autos. |

And now they officially cannot buy a goal. Will be very lucky to stay in a play off spot. |

I couldn't be happier that they probably won't get automatic promotion - can't stand them as a club and there is no real reason why... When we played against them earlier in the year their fans were so cocky so it's rather welcome from me right now!

Yep, I don't think I could cope with Brighton + Bournemouth both in the Prem. We don't have rivalries with either club really, but there is a lot of history between us and fans generally don't really like each other. Have to say more so both these clubs to us. |

They had the unbeaten record for some time, but a lot of those games were either 0-0 draws or 1-0 wins where they parked the bus after scoring, so they weren't exactly leading the pack. It's why the minute they began to drop points they also dropped down the table, they were never that far ahead of other teams below them. To join in the chorus from above, I couldn't see them lasting out the season at the top. Someone like Middlesborough, Burnley or Derby County seem more likely to take the title I imagine. Same with Leicester City in the Premiership. I still can't see them winning the league, but they should definitely aim for Champions League football next season though. |

Next two games are tricky, Blackburn and Huddersfield, if they don't win at least one, then the bubble has well and truly burst, been stood on and thrown in the bin. |

There might be life left in the bubble yet, Bobby Zamora's 3rd minute goal secures an away win at Blackburn. |
