are their fans getting too cocky?

I was saddened to read this thread because I've made over 200 posts on there as an away fan ...

It would be a travesty if they slipped up now, but whether they win the title or not, what they've achieved this season is nothing short of miraculous.

This was posted by a chap named Philip Raiswell on a Facebook page and I thought it would appeal to some on here!

Is this the man responsible for Leicester City's march to the title? When Richard III was buried in Leicester on 26 March 2015 the club was bottom of the Premier League and facing a quick return to the Championship. Since that day, Leicester have played 41 league fixtures, winning 27, drawing 10 and losing just 4, picking up 91 league points! What is remarkable is that the turnaround was instant, Leicester winning four games on the trot immediately following the funeral to move out of the relegation places, with the run of good form now continuing for 12 months. Meanwhile, the city that vied with Leicester to bury the king, York, has seen the fortunes of their club nose dive with relegation out of the league looking likely. A coincidence or something quite spooky?

I can tell you that the majority of people in Leicester are fed up of hearing about Richard III... So I doubt it has inspired the football team or anything.

The first post on that thread is moaning about 'plastic' fans - ironic from a club that have to use happy clappers to create an atmosphere...

Some Reading fans were a bit cocky back in 2007. We had broken the mould with our brick by brick approach apparently.
Er no we hadn't

Leicester City and the strange finances behind their rise to the Premier League pinnacle

• Leicester sold sponsorship rights to company which sold them back to owners
• Football League investigating amid concerns club appear to have broken rules

Starts: Leicester City’s dash to an unlikely Premier League title is billed as football’s most romantic story in a generation but the Football League is still investigating the club’s 2013-14 promotion season amid strong concerns from other clubs they may have cheated financial fair play rules.

They'll just get a fine..

Speaking of FFP fines, i'm pretty sure QPR and Bournemouth have yet to pay there's still. And QPR was almost two years ago now.

That'll be the worst punishment for them.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with QPR and Bournemouth - I think QPR were challenging the fine's legality.
