Evening Chaps,
I was hoping for some advice please, as we sold out our allocation very quickly, and as a non-season ticket holder I was not able to get tickets. I'm based in norfolk so it was impossible to get to ground to queue. is there any point in 2 of us traveling at the weekend in the hope of getting into a "friendly" stand ?

We are 2 blokes in our 50's so no "risk" associated with us.

As to the game, we have been performing in a very typically Tony Pulis "stoke" mode, its horrible to watch and is splitting the fans quite badly, half saying endure it to maintain Premiership status, half wanting him out see some entertainment again.
Consequently its unlikely to be a classic, we struggled to beat both Bristol City and Peterborough, (in fact we didn't beat posh as they lost on pens) so on that form you have an excellent chance of getting something out of the game.

We will very likely be playing 4 centre-halves and looking for set pieces to "nick one". What style are the Royals employing now, I have always associated you with attractive football and using pace, is that till valid?

one last qu, how is Matty Vydra doing, he looked like he had great potential when he was with us, but seemed to lack physically has he come on at all?

thanks for reading,

Differing views on Steve Clarke from WBAZone

"Top bloke Steve Clarke is, did a good job here and was harshly sacked. Hope he finds another job soon."

"'They (Reading) will fancy their chances............ West Brom will be difficult to beat'
Well yeah Steve it's the FA Cup, hardly f(kn rocket science is it Mr Clarke?
A prime time slot on Talk Sh*te awaits no doubt."

"Good old Clarke, dismantled any organisation Hodgson had sorted out within about 6 months, fell lucky with Lukaku, then made an absolute mess of it the following season. Rightly sacked after one of the worst away days ever (bearing in mind I was at Reading for the 3-2 defeat...) at Cardiff City.
You're better off out of it with him. McDermott will have a MUCH better chance of bringing you success as he has proved in the past."
