Having gone to my first one in 1967 at Windsor Racecourse before it moved to Reading my next one was in 1979 when bands like The Cure,Police and that ilk were on.But also was a few heavy metel bands like Saxon and Iron Maiden.A year later was my favourite with UFO and Whitesnake headlining.Still love it and watch it on BBC and I know my daughter and son in law are wetting themselves over Muse this year but what was your best year and anyone going this year.Which do you prefer Glastonbury or Reading.Cant wait to meet up with William and Suffolk to go to this years, hope they bring plenty of Stella with them :D

As I've said before, I've only voted Tory once. I have no particular Party alliegence. I see neither Cameron or Milliband as 'My mate'.

:bawling: :number1: Eminem is thare this year I'm jelous of those going
Can't stand Eminem. This is just my opinion of course, but for me, he epitomises everything that you see today in Britain's Chav culture.
Diffrent eras and opinions I suppose :-/ to me eminem isn't like most rappers because yes he does rap about silly stuff sometimes but in his songs about his daughter e.g mocking bird he raps a bout things with meaning but diffrent pepole like diffrent things n that's cool we wouldn't want to turn into northkorea now :D :D

Before it came to Reading it was at Richmond and Windsor, this poster is from the first one I went to in 1967,a lot of these acts are still performing.
Just reading that line-up. It was astonishingly good. Some top groups in there. I love the way Fleetwood Mac are right near the bottom of that poster. Pink Floyd, Amen Corner,Small Faces,The Marmalade,The Move,Al Stewart,The Cream,Jeff Beck,PP Arnold,The Crazy World of Arthur Brown....it goes on and on. I would love to have gone that year!!!!
