Undefeated in Championship play at Madejski Stadium in 2016, Reading face a Cardiff City club sitting 7th, one place (and one point) out of the playoffs. With Sheffield Wednesday sitting 6th and facing Charlton at home, Cardiff likely needs the three points to stay within a point of 6th, while Brentford and Blackburn, just a point behind Reading and with a Goal Differential lead over RFC, face each other at Brentford. A loss to Cardiff and a draw at Brentford could see Reading drop to 17th in the Table, while a Huddersfield win over Leeds could drop a defeated Royals side to 18th in those particular circumstances. Can the friendly environment of the MadStad get Reading back to its' winning ways? What is your prediction for this match?

Points System

10 points - correct result e.g. you predict Reading 3-1 Cardiff and the result is Reading 3-1 Cardiff (includes an exact draw prediction; draw result & correct score);
7 points - correct outcome with correct goal difference e.g. you predict Reading 3-0 Cardiff and the result is Reading 4-1 Cardiff (this result includes a draw with the wrong score e.g. you predict a 1-1 draw and the result is 0-0);
5 points - correct outcome with incorrect goal difference e.g. you predict Reading 2-0 Cardiff and the result is Reading 5-1 Cardiff;
1 point - if you get the prediction completely wrong, you still get one point for taking part!

Bonus Points

You get bonus points for three things:

5 points - correct half-time score
2 points - correct goalscorers, for each goalscorer predicted that does indeed score (NOTE: this season you get points for correctly predicting the goalscorers of only Reading FC. You only get the points if Reading score the same amount of goals as you predicted or more. This prevents prediction of ridiculous scorelines for more points.)
5 points - correctly predicting the 'bonus question' within the specified tolerance. If one person comes closest to the actual value, that person will receive 7 points, but if two or more are both equally close, only the 5 points will be awarded.

Please put the score in this format:

Reading 3-1 Cardiff (HT: 1-0) [Home x-y Away format]
Williams
Cooper
Deniss

What will be the total attendance for this match, according to the BBC stats? Credit will be given for a prediction within one thousand of the posted BBC statistic.

Best of luck to you and the Royals in their Championship campaign!

Official attendance I assume Owlish?
Yes, the Official Attendance - I agree that the actual attendance (people in the stadium) will be less than the Official Attendance (tickets sold) by a significant margin. But clubs always use the highest possible number... ;)
