After 27 years of lies and cover ups, the Hillsborough victims and their families have finally got the answer they have fought for. How on earth can it have taken 27 years to come to the correct conclusion?

Its awful, and quite scary to think that this level of deceit can fester for so long, and at such a high level.

You're right daib0, it really is something we associate with third world countries.

Yep it really was and is a vile paper.
I mentioned before that my cousin Rachel Cerfontyne is the Police Complaint Commissioner handling this case.
She has watched footage of supporters happily walking into the ground. Then shortly after those supporters were dying on the pitch. She saw Police Officers walking past dying people ignoring them rather than helping. There was one case where family of a dead supporter were disgusted with the Police but the footage did reveal that a Police officer was caring for their son on the pitch which gave them some comfort. So not everyone in authority behaved badly.

For it to take this long for the truth to be acknowledged in law is shameful.
